oops didnt post it here hahaha i have a set of traxxas slash rear shocks that im trying to run droop. they worked fine (up and down all the way) after i removed the springs. then i opened them up and emptyed out the 30w oil and replaced it with 5w oil and the 3 whole pistons Now they are very very hard to compress HELP ME PLEASE |

not too familiar with traxxas shocks, but it seems that one of those two things, or maybe both are not jiving. how many holes were on the other pistons? i would take one of them apart and either change the oil or old pistons back and see if it makes a difference. pretty simple solution, and you make have already thought of this or even done it already, but this is where i would start. also, you may have over filled them with oil, try draining a small amount out with a paper towel or q-tip and see if they soften up. |

Yep. You've either got something stuck in there, or a vacuum lock of some sort. Take 'em back apart and see if you can find what's stuck. If nothing, put them back together empty and see if you can get compression out of them. If you do, put a little oil in and try again. Make sure the holes in your piston are open, too. |

if you take some pictures of the shocks apart, we may be able to help figure out the problem. |
