Hey all, new guy here.
Here's what I've been working on during the last couple weeks.. This is the first rc I've built in 10+ yrs, so thanks to all of you on this site for the many posts I've learned from in the last month.
My goal is to create a scale replica of my JK. Still need some lights, paint the links and interior touchup, and more accurate wheels. Based on the SCX10 Kit / New Bright 1/8 JK body -

Thanks for the comments guys. Jester, this was actually the second New Bright I had to buy because the first attempt at matching the color (and then trying to remove it) was so awful. Never worked with styrene before and I should've done more research. For the second time around (and the 2nd $60 body...) I decided to do it right and ordered a "Jeep Green Metallic" spray can to match mine from expresspaint.com and went at it with a lot more patience..
Here's a couple more poser shots -

Hey there im in the process of building a JK scaler as well. I see we are running the same scx10 chassis. How did you lengthen it? Did you have to do any frame modifications or just extend the links.

Just had to find longer links, luckily the LHS had those axial ones, I think they were 106mm and 90mm? I forget and I don't have it with me right now. The wheelbase is about 12 3/4" or so.

I just had to trim just a couple 4mm triangles from under the center console so the main motor gear wouldn't rub.
