The 1/6 scale boss, Harbor Freigt 20.00. The 1/6 scale chevy ebay 25.00. The 1/18 scale hemi free 4 signing up on a web site. The 1/12 scale motors comes as a set and I got them off of ebay 35.00 + shipping.
The gear box that is being used behind the vette motor is from a Revo 1/16 scale Brushless. And has a 50% reduction. The most used reduction behind the motors are the HPI units used on the wheely King crawler. The one in the boss motor is a great plains reduction unit found on airplanes. Also I have a 16:1 unit from rc4wd. As for making the shaft bigger on the HPI out put shaft I cut a piece of break line and crimp it at the flat spot of the shaft. The HPI gear reduction is 23:1 I believe. :drive:
