Almost done with my scx10 based, newbright TJ bodied, daily driver inspired, Jeep. There's no build along, and this thing has taken me way longer than I thought it would. Complete floor drop, this thing tought me there are 100+1 little things to do on these builds. While not nearly in the category of many of the builds here, I am pretty pleased with how it is turning out and thought I'd share. Still to do: Rear bumper/ tire carrier (the last biggie) some detailing bolting down the winch and wiring it up softer springs in the shocks metal ball ends light kit (on order from Bill's, I have tried this before....) stickers... Comments welcome and appreciated... Posted Image Posted Image Posted Image Posted Image Holy flex batman! Should be a bit better with metal ball ends and softer springs... Posted Image Oh no, it's muddy already! Yeah! Posted Image |

A body off shot? And reveal all my secrets? Just kidding.... pretty basic scx10 stuff under there, although I 180*'d the tranny and fabbed up a servo plate that bends 90* for the front body support.... I managed to get everything up front under the hood, there just isn't any room under this body in the rear. I'll get a body off shot once I get it outside on the rocks, I really hate posting inside shots... |

Thanks guys, I really appreciate the positive feedback. I plan on getting together some better pics once I am 100% done (will I ever be?), but here are some lid off shots... Posted Image Posted Image Posted Image Posted Image |
