At Salvation 50, Izzy High and Billy Zane found the discarded Redemption Championship in a storage closet. Izzy took the title, wrote "420 Championship" across it with magic marker, and declared it his very own championship. While not officially sanctioned by Redemption, owner Rochelle Robinson has chosen to allow Izzy to defend this farce of a title to keep him "quiet". A few weeks later at Salvaiton 52 on July 4, 2013, after an "exchange" was made between Izzy High and Redemption founder Tony Field, the 420 Championship was sanctioned as true championship for Redemption, designed for the undercard wrestlers. Redemption also commissioned a new belt to be made. On August 12th, 2013 Redemption introduced a secondary show entitled Redemption: Showcase. At that time Showcase General Manager, Chase Martelle, issued a new championship belt, Showcase Championship, to Izzy High to replace the former 420 Champonship. 1] Izzy High - 06.06.13 to 10.31.13Izzy declared himself the 420 Champion when he found the belt and declared it his own. 147 Day Reign 2] Eddie Mustang - 10.31.13 to 01.27.14Eddie Mustang was given a shot at Izzy High and the Showcase Championship at Legacies. With the backing of newly named Showcase General Manager, Morgan Kennedy and the help of corrupted referee Lance Hughes, Mustang was able to win the belt with a roll up and controversial count. 88 Day Reign 3] Larry Cole - 01.27.14 to 08.28.14The undefeated Larry Cole fought Eddie Mustang in a Last Man Standing Match at Showcase: Road to Glory. He overcame interference from Brookes Boren and Dustin Jacobs to win the belt and extend his undefeated streak. -On 03.27.14 at Salvation 81 Tony Field declared defunct due to the cancellation of Showcase. -On 06.19.14 at Apex II Commissioner Teresa LaChance announced that Showcase would return, replacing the Pre-Show before Salvation each week and the belt was reactivated. Due to his undefeated streak Cole would retain the title without an interruption being recorded in his title reign. 213 Day Regin 4] Gaines - 08.28.14 to 10.02.14Gaines squared off in a triple threat match for the Showcase Championship against the undefeated Larry Cole and Sean Callahan. After Cole hit Beast Mode on Callahan and was about to retain, Gaines able to drive Cole from the ring and then pinned Callahan, holding the tights for leverage, to win the Showcase Championship. 35 Day Reign 5] Sean Callahan 10.02.14 to 10.30.14Callahan and Gaines faced off at Windy City Brawl with the belt on the line. Gaines went to the top for his finisher, but Callahan was able to get out of the way and roll Gaines up to pick up the win and become the new Showcase Champion. 28 Day Reign -] Vacant - 11.25.15 to 12.29.15On November 25, 2015 Showcase returned and Showcase General Manager Zakk Bryce announced a five week tournament for the vacated Showcase Championship. 34 Days Vacant 6] Devin Danger - 12.29.15 to 01.28.16Danger won a sixteen wrestler tournament defeating Chester Logan, Larry Cole, and then Gabe Gable in the semifinals. Then at Showcase: Modern Warfare, he was able to defeat Bill Grimes when he took advantage of a referee bump and used a small easily concealable foreign object to take out Grimes and become Showcase Champion Edited by Donnie, Sep 27 2016, 05:15 PM.
