Ivy became the final Redemption Champion at Salvation 44: Gold Edition in Montreal. She fought Jack Gaither in a title vs title consolidation match and defeated Jack Gaither to absorb the Redemption Championship into the Internet Championship.

After the title being defunct for nearly seven months returning commissioner Teresa LaChance announced on Octoer 22nd that the Redemption title would return at Salvation 66. At Salvation 66 a fourway match was held between former Redemption Champion Dragon Khan, Sean Callahan, Hunter Kenson, and Evan Chaplain. In the end Sean Callahan had what appeared to be the win when Chaplain pulled him out of the ring and stole his pinfall on Hunter Kenson to win his first championship belt in Redemption.

Chaplain was suspended due to violating his contract after signing a contract with the NFL two hours before he was set to defend the belt against Sean Callahan at Retribution. Due to the bylaws of the Classic Championship the belt was then to be awarded to the contracted number one contender due to a variation of the "change hands on a count out or DQ" clause. Thus the belt was then awarded to Sean Callahan.

George Tyree squared off against Sean Callahan in a fifteen minute Championship scramble. George took the first fall with a Green Face Special. Callahan took the second fall with Ashes to Ashes. Tyree took the third fall via countout. Callahan then took the fourth fall with via submission (Texas Cloverleaf). Then just as time expired with help from his tag team partner Dean Davies, George was able to get a roll up win holding the tights to win the belt.

Before Salvation 79: Gold Edition went live Mike "The Ram" Ramsey was given the option to defend either the World Championship or the Classic Championship. Ram opted to defend his World Championship thus vacating the Classic Championship.

Going into Salvation 84: Gold Edition, reigning champion Dean Davies was set to defend the title against Charity Kenson. Dean no showed the match and refused to face her, leading commissioner Zakk Bryce to force Dean to defend later in the night against Gwen Massey. Massey was able to land Royal Thunder on Davies and pin him to win her first championship in Redemption.

Gwen got a rematch against Dean Davies at Sole Survivor. After a well contested match Gwen as able to land Last Laugh on Dean to win back the Classic Champion and usher in her second reign with the belt.

Hunter fought in a four way match for the Classic Championship at Windy City Brawl against reigning champion, Gwen Massey, her tag team partner Medea Jane, and Red Dragon. After a hard fought match Hunter was able to pick up in the pinfall win on Medea Jane to become the newly crowned Classic Champion.

On October 30th, 2014 Redemption closed it's doors for five months due to financial issues when then owner Ram (Who had won the company from Tony Field) struggled to run the financial operations.. On 03.20.15 it was officially announced that Derek Daughtery had bought the rights to Redemption and they would return at Salvation 106 on 04.02.15. On 03.29.15 it was announced that Classic Champion Hunter Kenson and Redemption had failed to come to terms on a new contract so the title was officially declared vacant.

At Resurrection 1 Noah Field appeared at the end of a ladder match for the vacant Classic Championship featuring Lucky Kennan, John Gillmen, and Johnny Payne. Noah won the championship. We then learned a week later that the Classic Championship would be newly dubbed, the International Championship.

After winning the World Championship at Salvation 111, Noah tried to bequeath the International Championship to fellow New Era member Conor Crowley at Resurrection 6 but was stopped by Redemption owner Derek Daughtery. Derek made Slade the contender for the International Championship and announced that either Noah could defend the belt against him later in the night, or vacate the championship and allow Conor to face Slade for the vacant title. Noah opted to vacate the championship.

Slade faced Conor Crowley at Resurrection 6 for the vacated International Championship. Slade managed to avoid the Legacy and countered with a Final Trip to win the belt. This title win completed the Grand Slam for Slade, making him only the second Grand Slam winner in Redemption history.

At Salvation 114: Gold Edition, the International Championship was defended in a Fatal 4-Way Match, with Slade defending against Jeff Wylde, Chris King, and Max Ramsey. After attempting to finish the match with a Final Trip on Max Ramsey, Jeff Wylde countered with a Wylde Ride on the champion. With Slade down, Max Ramsey stumbled into a Kingmaker from Chris King, who was able to pin him and capture his first Redemption Wrestling title.

After a grueling fight, JD hit King in the face with a chair while the referee's back was turned, and Ramsey capitalized with a schoolboy roll-up and holding onto King's trunks to secure his first title win in Redemption.

At Complete Insanity the challenge was laid down for what was dubbed "Champions Advantage Series". Best of seven title matches, the reigning champion retains the rights to choose either a stipulation or a gimmick for each match. In the first match at Resurrection 11 Chris King chose best 2 out of 3 falls. Ramsey picked up the first fall with Max Velocity. King picked up the second fall with the Kingmaker. Then after a show of reversals Max picked up the third and final fall with a school boy while holding the tights to win his second reign as International Champion and to jump out to a 1-0 lead.

After losing the first 3 matches in the Best of 7 "Champion's Advantage" series to Max Ramsey, Chris King looked as if he would be swept out of the contest. However, Max's hubris would be his undoing; he scheduled a regulation match for Match 4 and after a King Crusher and a Kingmaker, Chris King would capture the International Title again at Resurrection 13, bringing the series count to 3-1 and giving him back the advantage.

Max Ramsey and Chris King squared off in match seven of the Best of Seven Champions Advantage series at Road to Glory III in an Iron Man match. Max Ramsey would pick up a 6-5 win in the Iron Man match after hitting Max Velocity on King in sudden death overtime to not only win the match and the belt, but finish off the best of seven series

CG3 won a four way contenders match at Road to Glory III, defeating Johnny Payne, Devin Danger, and Jack Gaither. Then at Salvation 121 he rolled up Max Ramsey, holding the tights for extra leverage, to become the new International Champion.

At Modern Warfare 2015 CG3 defended the International Championship against Jack Gaither in a ladder match. After a grueling match, both men pulled the belt down at the same time. It was then announced that the match was a draw and that the two men would be co-champions. Either man can defend the belt, and if one should lose a title match, both men's title reign would end.
