This Light I Hold Here I am. Ready for my first ever big time match. The only thing I've done so far is train under my mentor, Mike Phoenix, as the Phoenix Wrestling Academy. Being trained by a legend has its perks, but I've never actually had a real match. I'm a rookie through and through, but don't fret. I trained for a full year for this very moment. Redemption Wrestling took a big risk signing me to a contract. They could have said no, but they gave me a chance. A chance for greatness. I'm not going to say that I'm the greatest in the world, because that's just blasphemy. I'm nowhere near the best. I lack experience, and some of these Redemption Wrestling guys scare the shit out of me. I don't know what to do. It's like a game of war. Both sides are waiting to see what the other one does first. I have little--to-no information on my opponent, Captain Howdy. He seems to be a weird one, but I feel like he will give me a great first match. Something I could look back on and smile. Not because I feel like I have an advantage, but because the experience will be worth it regardless. I find myself tempted to spit in the face of respect and show everyone what I've got. If you don't know me yet, my name is Alister Valca. I am "The Last Exile." People say, Alister, why would you do such a thing? It's because, well, if I feel disrespected, why should I respect my opponent? I'll gladly spit in the face of Captain Howdy if he takes me lightly. I am ready to kick anyone's fucking ass. I realize I'm the new kid around here, and at 24 years old, I am not exactly the one with a sturdy foundation to build upon. I have only my training to save me. The only way I'll find out how good I am... Well, it's this match. I not only want to win my first round match against Captain Howdy, but I want to go on and become the new Redemption Champion! I might be young, but I'm the most mature 24 year old you'll ever meet. I've got through a lot in my life. Death is no stranger to Alister Valca. No... I've lost everyone precious to me except for my younger Brother. He is just in High School right now, but when our parents died, I was the one that had to step up and father him. I made sure he had everything he needed and wanted. I treated him just as good as our parents did, but maybe even better. My Brother has the aspiration to follow in my footsteps, but I told him to do what makes him happy. If he wants to become a fucking brain surgeon, I'd be proud of him regardless of what he chooses to do with his life. We lost our parents in a plane crash. They were coming home... But they never made it. I know most people want me to shut up and stop whining, but my parents were all I had. Just like I am with my Brother, they supported my dreams. They knew I wanted to become a professional wrestlers, and they kept me up as I chased that dream. Now, 5 years after their untimely deaths and my training being complete, it's my time to put some positivity in my life. I've cried myself to sleep for the last time. I am going to step up and be the man that I need to be. It's either that or become a complete failure and my Brother would see me in a bad light. I don't want that to happen. I've always wanted to be his role model after Dad was gone, but I can only do so much. But once I was scouted at the academy for Redemption Wrestling, I knew I was meant to do something huge in my life. I am here to kick ass and win that Redemption Championship. I know it's going to be the hardest thing I've ever done in my life, but I will not be treated like dirt being pushed under the carpet. I am here to win gold, and if I get knocked out of contention for the Redemption Championship, I will take that Classic Championship and make it my own. Just like Mike Phoenix, I think I am meant for great things... Such as a legendary career. I want the money. I want the women. I want the power. Hell, I just want a championship around my waist. Captain Howdy, if you think you're going to beat me at Salvation 124, you are either stupid or naive. October 13th is the day that I will show the word that a rookie with no experience can beat someone that has years of it. I am fired up and ready to unleash pure hell on you, Captain Howdy. I will become the Redemption Champion, and if you're the first thing that's standing in my way, you are just shit out of luck, buddy boy. It's time for a new era... And it's the era of The "A-Lister" Alister Valca. Get used to it or prepare for a humiliation worse than the first time you found out you had a "baby dick." Hahahaha. I'm funny... I know this. But yeah, Captain... After Salvation 124, your boat is going to hit a fucking iceberg and sink like the Titantic. Be ready for "The A-Lister" Alister Valca, to pin those weak ass shoulders of yours to the ground for the 1, 2, 3. 10-02-2016 11:45 p.m. As the scene opens up, Alister Valca and stunning girlfriend, Gretchen Alvah, are both sitting on the front porch of their humble home. They didn't have money of their own, so they were forced to live under Alister's Grandmother's roof. Alister looks over at Gretchen and seems antsy. Gretchen Alvah "What has you so worked up?" Alister looked over at her and shook his head. Alister Valca "My Brother is 20 minutes late. I have a bad feeling in my gut." Gretchen Alvah "It'll be okay, Alister. I'm sure he's just fine." Alister Valca "If something happens to him..." Gretchen Alvah "Stop being so worried. It's not good for you. In fact, why don't we talk about your first Redemption Wrestling match? Alister looked over at Gretchen and gave her a dirty look. Alister Valca "What's there to say? I'm going to win. There's no other option." Gretchen Alvah "Yeah, and if you keep stressing yourself out, you'll be in no shape to beat him, either." Alister looked over at her and sighed. Alister Valca "I suppose you are right. But that still doesn't explain where Floyd is. I just told him to pick up my new wrestling gear down at the academy, but he's late." Gretchen Alvah "He'll be fine... Actually, speak of the devil, there he is." Floyd, Alister's younger brother, pulls up in broken down Honda Civic and parks in front of the house. They all share the same car. As Floyd walks up the steps with Alister's ring gear, Alister decided to say something to him. Alister Valca "Floyd... What the fuck, man? You're like 25 minutes late." Floyd Valca "My bad. I ran into Ashlee." Alister Valca "That's not a good fucking excuse." Floyd Valca "You never let me do anything. I'm not going to die. Jesus." Alister Valca "Yeah, just like our parents didn't die, huh? Fucking smartass. Go help Grandma fix dinner." Floyd Valca "You're an asshole, you know that?" Alister Valca "If being an asshole means I keep you safe, then yeah... I'm a huge asshole." Floyd just shook his head and sat down the bag full of ring gear as she walked inside the house and went to help their Grandmother finish up cooking dinner. Alister opens up the gym back and pulls out his gear and a huge smile came across his face. Alister Valca "Fuck yeah. Look at this. They did a really great job. I love it." Gretchen Alvah "I love it too. You'll look so sexy in that." Alister smiled, but dropped his head and sat the gear back down in the gym bag. Alister Valca "I don't know if I can beat Captain Howdy. I'm a rookie. He might tear me apart." Gretchen Alvah "Well, he might be tough. There's just nothing to go on to prepare for this match. You don't know anything about the guy besides what he looks like, and I doubt you wanna talk about that." Alister Valca "I don't single out people like that. Everyone is perfect is God's eyes." Gretchen Alvah "Yes, but remember... You're not God." Alister looked over at Gretchen and ran his fingers through his hair. Alister Valca "I know I'm not. I guess I am just too hard on people. I just want the best for my Brother..." Gretchen Alvah "You need to focus on Captain Howdy. What's your plan so far?" Alister Valca "Maybe attack the back and hit "The Art of Altercation" on him after I soften him up. I'll blow out his fucking back." Gretchen Alvah "Good luck with that." Alister Valca "I don't need luck. Besides, there's no way in hell that I'm going to lose my first match in Redemption Wrestling. At Salvation 124, I am going to show Captain Howdy and everyone around the world... My in-ring ability. I have trained every single day for a year now. I deserve a win in my debut with this company... Do you really think Howdy is going to beat me? Pfft." Gretchen Alvah "I just thought you might want to work on that ego of yours first." Alister Valca "Ego? What ego? It's not an ego problem, It's confidence, babe. At Salvation 124, Captain Howdy will be staring up at the lights after I pin him for the three cunt. I am a winner. I have always been on sports in school. Basketball, tennis, football, baseball. I can do it all! At Salvation 124, I'll add Captain Howdy to my list of achievements. I will be the victor, and there's nothing he can fucking do about it. Simple. As. Pie." With those words, the scene begins to slowly fade to black, ending the scene and leaving people, especially Captain Howdy, in awe. Edited by Scott Malone, Oct 2 2016, 09:06 AM.
