CG3
[ * * * ]
An athletically built man stepped from the black car, looking at the large mansion that set beyond the sidewalk, towering over him as if attempting to intimidate him. The cream coating of the paint shined as the sun beat down on it, causing him to have to squint. Uniquely twisted fencing kept the house enclosed, neatly trimmed hedges surrounded the house. The roof was peaked, slanting down at an angle. The windows had royal blue curtains hanging on the other side of them, drawn so that the sunlight could stream through.

As he stepped onto the sidewalk, CG3 noticed a marble fountain sitting towards the right side of the lawn. An angel holding a flower was perched on top, looking up towards the sky. Water spurted from its other hand, which lay gently out in front of it, as if waiting for someone to take it in return. The water fell gently towards the crystal blue pool beneath it, causing ripples to form and wave out until they were no more. Bushes trimmed into all sorts of shapes and people littered the parts of the lawn that was not taken up by the fountain: CG3 stopped to oversee the production of his staff as, the water sparkled in the fountain. He walked towards the extravagant house, down the little stone path to the black door.

CG3 walks into his house, throws his keys on the table and heads to the kitchen. A grey stone tile is laid to perfection on the floor, dark counter tops, stainless steel appliances, and oak cabinetry completed the extravagant kitchen. He reaches into the fridge, grabs a water and heads to the living room. He turns on the projection style television, and plops on his leather couch. Around him is countless pictures with people of importance, numerous trophies and medals, and fine artifacts.

He has always been a phenomenal athlete, a standout at CBC High School in football and wrestling. A college graduate from the University of Missouri, from a full ride for football. Everything he touched, he succeeded at with relative ease.
CG3 enjoys the finer things of life, an only child of two hard working parents, one might assume he would follow his parents hard working abilities to achieve his own success. His mother was a nurse, his father was a owner of his own construction business. True hard working people. But not him, everything came with relative ease to where he didn't have to lift a finger.

The only way CG3 got to where he is now is by cold calculated decisions and manipulation. Money talks, and CG3 had done a lot of talking via his bank account over the years.
His wallet got his first tryout in Redemption, not via a training school or “paying his dues” but by a nice check. CG3 learned on the fly, and it came natural to him. Being a standout athlete had its perks because he adapted quickly. His career was a rocket that was shot quickly. A former co holder of the now defunct International Championship, meant a step up to the bigger title. But the company closed before that happened.

Once the company closed, he went home and make a couple of investments that paid off huge. Now at 28 years old, CG3 was a multi-millionaire. Instead of working for people, he had people working for HIM. He had a massive mansion, a staff, cars, women all at his disposal 24 hours a day 7 days a week. But all of that was put on the back burner once he received the phone call.

I was called by the new owners of this company asking about a return. At first, I didn’t have to do anything because I’m filthy rich, but the lure of coming so close to getting to the World Title was too much to pass up. Now I’m back, making huge money and I’m going to get what I deserve. I’ll go through anyone to get what is mine, and that is the Redemption Championship.

People underestimate me, they take my so-called cockiness as a weakness. I hear what people say, he's entitled, arrogant, cocky and so on. But they are jealous, that I have achieved more in my short life than they have in their entire life. Everyone says I am an easy target, but I am always a step ahead in everything I do. Every decision I make is calculated, which is why I issued the open challenge. In this human game of chess, I am the King…and the rest are pawns, just like my opponent, Spencer Vain.

Pawns are the first line of defense to protect their King. They use their brawn and their size to take the bullets and fight to protect what matters, and what matters is my ascension to the top of Redemption. That is where Spencer belongs, on the front line. Comparing Spencer to me is like comparing a Prime Rib to a McRib. Yeah sure he has the experience, and comes from an elite lineage of professional wrestling champions, but who cares. I am a Blue Chip athlete, I am younger, in better shape, and definitely smarter. Spencer will be the first stepping stone to my rise to the Redemption championship. But fear not Spencer, not all is lost as I am a fair person. Once you fall in defeat, times will get tough for you and your family. All you have to do is come to me, and I will hire you on and make you my personal Virgil. Because that will be the only way you will ever have any success in this company, is by riding my coattails.

CG3 sits back on his couch and flips a couple more channels. He looks down at the expensive coffee table that he has his feet propped up on and realizes it is dirty. He is about to call for a servant to come clean it but stops.
Nah I'll save that for Spencer….
