Due to various changes on staff and with the roster, we are doing away with the two divisions, one dedicated to angle, and becoming a true hybrid. Here's what changes are coming going forward starting this week. First, OOC. We are a true hybrid fed with an emphasis on angle. We will keep two main event titles. World Championship - This will remain the main event level based that is angle based. This belt will, under no circumstances, ever be RP'd for. Redemption Championship - This will remain the main event level based that is RP based. This belt, under no circumstances, will ever be angled. With the lack of two divisions now, this means anyone on the roster can compete for any of these belts, as long as it stays under these guidelines. As for the other belts. Television Championship - This belt will remain the same. Midcard belt that will ALWAYS be angled and never RP'd for. Classic and Covenant Championship - These two belts will be merged. This week (Resurrection 21) we will crown a Covenant Championship. At Road to Glory we will have John Doe defending the Classic Championship against Jeannie Duarte. The next week on either Salvation or Resurrection the holder of each belt will then face off in a RP based match to unify the two titles into the Covenant Championship. From that point on, the Covenant Championship will remain a special championship that can be cashed in for a guaranteed shot at the Redemption Championship. The belt will always be put up in a RP based match or series of matches. The belt also does not have to be defended since it is a contenders belt. However, should the current champion be willing to defend it then that is their choice, not that off the staff. Also, you, the handler, will decide when to cash in the belt for you title shot. If the title shot has not been cashed in by the PPV before Apex you become the defacto number one contender for Apex (Our Wrestlemania). If you do cash in, let staff know before the card comes out (A week before) so we can book the match. Unification Championship - This belt will become a midcard belt. It will be a hybrid belt in the truest of forms. The belt, by nature, can and will be angle based. However, at times staff can choose to put it up in a RP based match, OR those feuding over the belt can choose to defend it in a RP based match, just let staff know so we can book accordingly Ascension Championship - No changes will be made to this belt. It's a special championship that reserves a shot at the World Championship and the belt will stay angle based, never RPd for. And unlike the Covenant, due to the angle nature, staff will work with you on when the cash in will take place in order to fit stories properly. Tag Team Championship - These belts will be hybrid like the Unification. They will be generally angled, but also can be put up in a RP'd based match at the discretion of staff of those feuding over the belt. Who and When Will RP Matches Happen - Aside from the World and Covenant Championships, which MUST be in RP based matches, and contender matches, MOST matches from here on out will be angled. However, I understand that some of you are not comfortable going forward with strictly angle, so we will still book RP based matches, there just won't be as many. We are probably looking at 1-2 RP based matches a week most weeks, with the exception of PPV's. When it comes to PPV's, I understand even some people that are angle based may want to RP out the big blow off matches, etc. That is up to you. IF you decide to RP it out, inform staff before we post the official card so we can book it. Now what I will do is post a pinned topic on here. IF you have been a few weeks without a RP based match and want one then post there and staff will get you a RP based match the next card. Or for that matter if you have a character that has been strictly angle based and maybe you want to RP one week, post there. This 1-2 RP matches a week is not set in stone. It's just a number of what we will book without requests. Distinguishing - Make sure you check the backstage post with the broke down card. ALL RP'D matches will have an (R) in parenthesis. Booking - I will book those handlers who don't do much angle most frequently in RP based matches, followed by characters who were working only the one division with second priority, and then those who were two way roster next. I won't book characters who were strictly angle based before the roster merger in RP based matches unless you tell me I can book them or you request a RP based match. New characters and handlers I will handle accordingly. This doesn't apply to title matches and contender matches. NOW for the In Character Set up for all of this Front Office Tweaks - Jack Gaither will move from the commissioner of the World Division to the Commissioner of Resurrection. Christian Dement will move from the commissioner of Redemption Division to the commissioner of Salvation. Zakk Bryce will serve as Redemption General Manager. He'll oversee both Resurrection and Salvation as the supervisors so to speak of Dement and Bryce. His main duty is to be a checks and balance between the two shows and the two commissioners. Teresa LaChance stays COO that runs the whole damn thing. Unification Championship - Dean Davies will vacate this belt when he doesn't defend it in at Road to Glory, instead opting to only fight one match for the Redemption Championship. This is when this title will shift to a midcard hybrid belt rather than a roster go-between belt. That is it for now. I will edit or add to this if anything else comes up. |
