Been through the book and the DVD once. Didn't really make an impact until I tried something according to the book and it worked! Could have been co-incidence... Or not... But they say you must go through it at least a couple of times to form a habit - up to 21 times (same principle as doing the same thing for 21 days in a row forms a habit I gather). But I will try it again, this time applying what I read and see. Something as widely recognized must be worth a try! |

Seems powerful, but so have many before. Guess one should probably really try before commenting. I'll be sure to try it out when I have time to focus on the book. But I strongly believe it did and does work for some people. Especially the guy who had the plane crash and walked out of hospital. |

Then I should definitely make an effort to read or even watch the DVD. As soon as I'm finished I will post my remarks. |

In a way I guess I am already applying a lot of it in my daily life, even when not reading and understanding all. It's a "human thing" - we all need something positive that we "perceive" to be bigger than all of us to get us up from our lazy backsides to actually go out there and take chances to get somewhere in life. Comfort Zones being too easy to fall back on, even when they're not all that comfortable anymore. But hey! I'm resigning from a cushy career after too many UNCOMFORTABLE "comfort zone" years to rest for a while, then start my own thing! Guess who'll be reading and watching The Secret again. *lol* |

I haven't read the book yet, watched the DVD, worth the watch, and very inspiring. From my opinion, one can only derive positive things from "The secret". and how to do it. It's lot like any other motivational book/DVD where they are trying to sell a product or an idea, but more like people trying to share there experiences what they they have gained by following the principles of the secret. |
