Sounds kinda self-explanatory, doesn't it?

This Clan preserves curds from the milk of the bosk, verr, and/or any other milk giving animal. The curds are formed and aged into what we know as cheese.

This Clan is also responsible for creating the fermented curds that the People enjoy so much. This is done by allowing the curds to ferment, i.e., create sugars within the curd that will then turn into alcohol. The alcoholic curds are then mixed with milk to create an alcoholic drink that the People enjoy during festivals, celebrations and other special occasions.

The Clan also grades and even creates new cheeses. It is this Clan's responsibility to ensure flavorful and well-preserved cheese, as well as butter for cooking and flavoring. Think of this Clan as the Dairy Mart of the People. Members of this Clan know when the seasons give the milk different flavors, depending on the quality and availability of the different grasses of the Plains, which would then have an effect on the flavors of the cheeses made. For example, in the spring, clover tends to make milk sweeter, which means sweeter cheese will be the result, whereas in winter, the plains are mostly straw, which results in a sharper cheese.

The creation and making of the cheeses is an art, passed down through generations. The Clan is very secretive about how they create their cheeses, thus the pride felt when the cheese is good. Those born to the Clan but unable to create delicious cheese are often asked to find other useful things to do within the Clan, such as grading the cheeses for quality, (which is useful should the People decide to trade or sell any extra cheese).
