Maria had traveled with a small raiders group after the loss of her mother and father. She found the large group that mostly consisted of men to be nothing but a constant strain on her ability to keep herself from getting into trouble with them. A certain lock of trust in men to begin with made it near impossible for er not to think the worse of them, and seeing them to things to other survivors that would make your skin crawl, didn't help the matter. She feared her almost weak nature in the presence of powerful men made her a target. One that would eventually be far too good to pass up.

Maria found life mush less stressful out on her own. Though the group did not lack a certain amount of supplies and ammo, she found that during the day, her time away from the group was her only way to feel safe. In a way that seemed incredibly stupid since the world had now been populated with the walking dead, and her chances of survival diminished greatly outside the group. It seemed to her that hr lack of trust in men would in fact be the only thing to kill her.

When things were normal...before the outbreak, Maria worked in an antique shop not far from her group's camp. there was a rather huge store near by she's visited everyday, and if memory served her correctly. The store held everything she needed to build herself a fine back pack full of goods to bring back to the group. Perhaps even a few toys for the younger ones in the group. Seemed like a fine idea at the time.

She relied of stealth to get her where she needed to go, and often traveled on foot. Today was no exception It would just be a quick stop in and out and back to where she now called home like the petite little Santa Claus she was. When she'd approached the store the area was surprising free of walkers, however the store she planned on hitting was very well barricaded, and seemed quick secure.

She stared at the structure for a good long while sizing it up for entry points. She decided now was not the time to waste anymore time, and began working at the least likely places a person would shield from walkers. She looked around the rear of the building places on a much higher left, and found a loading dock that was well off the ground enough to try her luck with the window near by. She pushed the dumpster closer to the building, and though the squeaky rusty wheels made far more noise then she liked, it was an easy move. Climbing up the side of the dumpster she steadied herself on the weak plastic lid before testing her luck and prying that window open.

Asher had the run of the whole store, he felt it was his duty as manager to make sure the rest of the goods stayed secure right were they were. Granted no one would be pay cash for anything but he would take things as trade if need be. Some of the meat in the coolers was still good and some of the dairy hadn't gone bad yet, but he knew how to keep things run off the generator that kept the lights and the equipment running. He moved threw the store making sure things were still placed were they should after the raid that had happened when people rushed in and started grabbing things. He knew panic was their reason, but still for someone who worked at Wal-mart it was a nagging feeling to see things out of place.

He headed toward the back room to check on the cooler temperature like he did every day at the same time. He had to make sure everything that was still left in them frozen stayed frozen or the whole place would smell like rotting food and attract every walker around. He had a hard enough time as it was when they came into the store. Having to shoot people he had seen everyday, from Mrs. Davis a sweet little old lady that made him cookies, to a ten year old girl, that not more than a month ago had given him her teddy bear for safe keeping. It broke his heart seeing these people die at his hands, the worst feeling the world is pulling a gun on a child. It does something to a persons soul causes them to turn hard and cold.

Once he had rid the store of the walkers, the people who had been there had left him by himself, and these were the ones that turn their noses down at him and there they were running out like screaming children while he stayed behind to defend the store or looters. So he did his best at barricading all the doors with shopping carts and locked the outer doors in lawn and garden. Automotive still had two cars sitting in the bay a Blazer that came in for an oil change and a Chevy Lumina with two tires missing. But he made sure the doors were down and locked into place. The whole building was locked up tighter than a virgin on her wedding day. He felt a little safe.

He moved passed the shelving the fell out of the slot and shoved them back in so he wouldn't trip if he had to move fast and made his way around the back passing by pallets full of dry goods. He stopped at the cooler and tapped the temperature gauge watching it jiggle before a noise caught his attention. He turned toward the sound and slowly made his way toward the loading docks picking up one of the ax's along the way. He lifted it up as he slowly came around the corner where the window was to see a girl come falling.

"What the fuck lady?" He shouted toward her rushing over to the window and looking out for anyone else, seeing nothing he slammed it down and locked it back into place. He turned to look at this brunette laying on the floor in front of him. "Are you bit?" he demanded to know as his fingers gripped the ax handle turning them white.

The petite girl tumbled to the cement floor in a thud. She groaned to herself rubbing the back of her head from the fall. Looking up at the man wielding an ax through her long fringed bangs that hung over her eyes, she answered him quickly as she figured it would be best to be quick with answers when I man had a large weapon in hand, "No." She croaked out. Lifting her hand to her head and checking it through the bangs that danged in her face, making her her head wasn't bleeding. Her fingers lightly tinged with sticky crimson she groaned yet again and rolled her eyes.

Pushing the hair out of her face and tucking it behind her ear she drew her knees closer to her chest as she finally looked back up at the man who'd addressed her. Her eyes slowly widened that the face was quite familiar to her indeed. "You..." She pointed at him, "You're still here?" She asked with a puzzled look to her.

She tried to push herself up off the ground but stumbled a bit and thought it best to stay right were she was. Though this face was familiar...she didn't know him well enough to trust him in a cloudy state. Her head throbbing that much more as her butt plopped back down to the floor. "I'm not bit. I'm just...stupid apparently." She grumbled to him and she placed her elbows on her knees and dropped her head into the palms of her hands.

He lowered the ax and then set it down into the corner. He knew this woman he had seen her in the store before, in fact he always made it a point to watch her walk in as though he was stalking her or watching that she didn't steal something, that he knew she wouldn't do. But with him walking around pretending to work and watching her, it made security nervous. He had to tell them on many occasions that he was just looking at a very attractive woman and they would make fun of him. And at times would even make him aware that she had walked in, telling him his hot babe has just entered the store.

But here she was sitting on the floor in front of him, bleeding.

"Sorry about that." He apologized as he held out his hand toward her. "Lets get the fixed up okay?" he said helping her to her feet knowing she was feeling dizzy after falling threw the window like she had done. He looked at her when she said she stupid. "Your not stupid." he told her then cleared his throat nervously. "Your perfect." He wrapped his hand around her waist feeling his face flush with heat as he moved her over to one of the chairs next to the managers work station.

He moved off to the side and grabbed the first aid kit that was tucked behind the racks. he set it down on the desk and glanced at her again as he opened the top and began to pull a few things out. "I'm afraid this is going to sting." he told her opening the alcohol packet and gently moving her hair away from her forehead. He dabbed it on and watched her flinch. "I'm sorry." he said, trying to work fast so he wouldn't put her through to much pain. Wiping the blood off and then fumbling with a band-aid he placed it over her wound carefully. "There, that should work for now, if it hurts let me know and I can get some aspirin or something." he added tossing things into the trash next to the desk.

He watched her for a few seconds then cleared his throat nervously once more. Why was she making him so nervous? He didn't know. He moved away from her again and grabbed one of the water bottles from off of a pallets and offered it to her.

"This is all I have right now." he said. "If you want something else just let me know." God he sounded like an ass.

She blinked her eyes in a rather shocked manner as he reached his hand out for hers. Taking it , he seemed to easily scoop her up off the floor despite her wobbled legs, and lace his arm around her waist. It'd been quite a long time since she'd ever really been this close to a man, and for a moment the shock of it took over. She stared at him with her dark hair dangling in her face for a moment. He helped her to the open seat next to a desk and began working on her superficial wound. She had noticed him in the store before. the manager who'd always seemed to keep an eye on her. She blew it off as him just being protective of his store, and nothing more. However when someone watches you that closely you try not to make eye contact. No however with her eyes focused so closely on his face, he was actually quite attractive. Devilishly handsome some might say. Though in her mind perhaps it had been far too long since she'd been around a caring man.

He spoke with a sweet, almost gentlemanly tone as he wasted no time in patching her up. She smiled at him for a moment and nodded, "Not your fault. I supposed I could have just knocked." She chuckled lightly at her lame attempt at a joke. The blush to her pale cheeks was more the visible as he complimented her. She looked away for a moment to hide the red hue to her face with her hair, but it wasn't long before he'd warned her of the up coming sting. "Forgive me, but I don't remember you bein' so..." The burning sensation kicked in and she stopped in mid sentence to wince and almost squeal from the sensation. "...nice."

He apologized and before she knew it the sting had subsided. Though her head still seemed to throb. "Thanks." She felt the burn to her cheeks intensify as she looked up at him once again. "I think I'll be alright." She openly lied for the sake of being strong in his eyes. She'd put him out far too much already...no need to push the issue.

"So..." She began looking for any excuse to not look him in the eye for fear the redness to her cheeks couldn't get any worse. "You've been here this all along?" Her eyes looked around the area in wonderment at it's nearly perfect condition. It was clear he was here, and treating the place as if the apocalypse had never really happened.

Asher stepped away from her to give her some space, he didn't want her to think he was all up in her safe zone.

"Yea, I've been trying to keep the place going." he nodded quickly. "Most of the stuff is gone, but what I managed to keep is worth protecting, I know that sounds weird." He glanced at her and motioned toward the double swinging doors that lead out into the main store. "You can check it out if you like." He offered to show her around. He waited for her to follow as he held open the door for her to step through. "I never caught your name?" he asked letting the doors swing back into place. "I'm Asher, Asher Roth." he introduced himself to her holding out his hand toward her.

"So where have you been all this time?" he asked as they walked down the main isle.

She smiled in his direction as he explained his position here. Nodding her aching head just a little to show she was actually paying attention. She didn't at all figure the young man to be so trusting in her. After she'd seemed to be watched like a hawk before all this, she figured much hadn't changed. His watchful eye almost made her feel uncomfortable, but if she managed to catch his glance he would give her a warm smile, much like he was now. He was quite an odd gentleman.

"Ahh I see..." he began, "Not strange at all. You have everything you'd ever need here and then some." She moved through the doors as he walked her through. He hand reached out for her in introduction and with a smile and blushed cheeks, she shook his hand gently and replied, "Maria...Santos."

After getting over the shock of actually making introduction to the man she'd known of for so long but never actually knew...she sighed softly letting her eyes wonder the isles as she walked with him,"It's a pleasure...to officially have met you."

He asked one final question and with it she wondered how much she should tell Asher of what she'd been up to. "I was with a group. I was looking for toys and supplies for the younger ones in the group. Though I have to be honest in saying I'm not exactly looking forward to returning."

She hoped that would be enough to open her an invitation with him. He was far more trustworthy then her raider companions, and so far...much more charming.

Asher listened to her tell how she had been with a group, he wondered just what sort of group she was with and if they were going to show up here causing problems for him. It wasn't as thought he didn't trust her cause that wouldn't matter to him, this was the girl of his dreams and he would do anything to protect her, he just couldn't tell her that. he smiled as they walked down the back action ally toward sporting goods where he had set himself up an nice little area with a bed, a camping stove, a microwave, food on the shelves in place of sleeping bags that had been there, two small collage refrigerators and a generator that kept them going. There was a canopy that hung over it and had been tied down at each corner of the horseshoe counter. He had added tarps around the sides to block out light during the evening times so the walkers wouldn't know anyone was there or anyone else for that matter.

During the day light poured in from the sky lights on the roof so there was plenty light to see by but at night it got dark so he used lanterns to see by during those times. He had even set up a few booby traps down the major isles in case someone got in while he was asleep or busy. He was defiantly prepared for anything that might get in. There were still plenty of weapons left in the cases that he kept unlock for certain reasons and the few rifles and handguns that all had been filled with bullets and set on top of a rack next to the bed.

He opened the little swinging door to allow her to go inside his little area and pulled out one of the camping chairs that folding like an umbrella for her to sit down in.

"You know," He started as he moved toward the refrigerator and opened it up taking out two pork chops and setting them next to the camping stove. "If you want to stay here with me, your more then welcome to." He forced out, almost scared to ask her for fear she would say no. He glanced back at her picking up the frying pan and placing it on top of the stove as he switch on the burner. "I mean there's plenty here and I don't mind sharing." he added as he started to prepare her a nice meal of pork chops, a baked potato and a salad from a head of lettuce that was about to go bad, so he was glad he got to use it before it did. The area began to fill up with the smell of the fried pork chops that were cooked to perfection, he set them onto of two glass plates and handed her one of them along with a fork and knife if she needed it.

"Would you like something to drink? I have water, some sodas and some wine." He let out a short chuckle thinking that he must sound pretty desperate right now. He grabbed a glass and set each thing down next to her for her to choose which one she felt she might like. He sat on his chair and tried to relax around her as he ate his food. It was difficult to say the least. He would glance over at her every now and then as he chewed. He swallowed the meat and cleared his throat. "What kind of group were you in? I mean are they dangerous?" he finally asked, he needed to know if they were going to show up. "You don't have to tell me if you don't want too, but this is my place and I need to know if I'm gonna have to defend it tooth and nail any time soon, I hope you understand?" He added. "The last few people I let in here sort of screwed me over, they took off taking quite a bit with them and letting in walkers as they did. It took me almost six hours to clear the store back out and block all the doors once again, I don't think anythings going to get threw there unless they use a bulldozer, but you can't be to sure these days." he told her, not trying to sound like an ass or anything, but his trust levels with people was very low and he had to defend this store. Even if it meant not letting in new people, but with her it was different. He had hoped deep down that she had survived and was safe. So when she showed up his heart was able to beat again. He looked at her as she sat there wondering what she was thinking.

He walked her through the store, her eyes wondered around as he moved in front of her. With a certain about of total wonderment she took everything as it had changed so much since she'd last seen it.

He took her back to what appeared to be his living area. His bed seemed neatly made with pride. She sat in the nearest available seat and smiled at him quite pleased he got the hint. His little fridge was stocked with things he seemed to enjoy most. Her eyes seemed to widen just a little as she watched him pull a plate of pork from the fridge. She gulped back the sudden rush of her mouth watering at the simple sight. It had been quite some time since she'd had more then canned beans or a tiny scrap of meat from a rodent one of her raider comrades managed to salvage for her.

She sat in her seat with her hands folded in her lap. The scent of cooking pork filled the room. Her fingers fidgeted with one another under the table as she patiently waited for that food to finish cooking to his liking. He spoke to her and a part of her knew she should probably response. However her eyes were so focused on the preparing food she couldn't make her mind work well enough to answer the poor man.

He finally finished the food he's prepared and set it out in front of her. Her eye focused on the plate in front of her as if she thought it was going to jump up and bite her in the nose. He set out some wine, soda, and water, and her eyes peeled away from her food to look at the choices laid out in front of her with the eyes of a starving child. She looked up at him half expecting him to yank the items away and laugh at her for thinking she could have some.

Instead he munched away at his own plate with table manners that had long been forgotten in her world. She slowly let her finger unlace from one another and pick up the fork at the side of her plate. Her eyes never left his face as if she thought he would attack her the moment she was distracted. Cutting a small bit from her pork chop and lifting it to her lips she chewed it slowly and lady like. Trying not to look like the starving dog she was. She'd much rather drop the fork to that table lift the chop to her lips and bite at it in true walker fashion. However that wasn't very guest like of her to do.

She cleared her throat and made a conscious effort to concentrate on all he'd said before she spoke to him in reply, "Thank you for the offer. I do very much appreciate it. The group I was with I ran into not very long ago. They don't really stay in one place more then a night. They came back around this way, and I thought of this place. Thinking I could get somethings from the store that other's left behind. I wasn't really expecting to find anyone here. I stuck around cuz I felt like I was saver with them then against them. Though over time I started to wonder if I was just fooling myself with that train of thought. I don't think they'll come around here. I didn't tell them where I was going, and I doubt they'll go looking for me. I'd rather them think I died out there."

She paused for a moment to take another bite of her food and snag the soda from in front of her opening it and drinking it on a few rushed gulps. She cleaned her lips with the back of her hand and gave him a slightly embarrassed smile, "Are they dangerous. Yes. Do I think they'll be around here...nope. I think you're good. They're not from around here and don't know this place is here....and well me....I mean you no harm at all. In all honesty you're more valuable to me then I am to you, but I'm sure you've figured that out." Sh e blushed slightly with a short giggle taking a few more nibbles of her food. The taste of it was unbeatable. You'd be surprised how brilliant things taste when you're hungry. She closed her eyes for a moment and simply focused on the flavor, letting it melt in her mouth like little savory bites of heaven.

Asher watched as she took little bites of the food as though she was scared to just pick the thing up and devour it, she had to be hungry. He just let her enjoy it her way, he figured she was trying not to show that she was about to starve to death. He listened to her answer his questions about the other being dangerous and coming where they were. He was glad to know that they wouldn't show up.

He put the last bite into his mouth and set the plate onto the counter next to him. As he chewed and reached over for the water she didn't choose. He twisted the top off and took a few good swallows washing down the food in his mouth. He kept his eyes on her, then stood up. At that moment he knew he could trust her and he wanted to make sure she had everything she needed.

"I'll be right back." He told her then walked passed going out of the area and heading down the isle toward the GM side of the store. He was in full sprint as he made his way down. Walking would have taking to long so running was the best thing. He moved down the isles until he got to the frozen desert section he knew of the coolers was still going strong, but the others had started to shut down causing most of what was inside to melt. He opened the only one working and dug threw the contents until he found what he was looking for. He closed the door and pressed his hand hard against it keeping it tightly sealed. He walked down the isle and heard the moans of the dead at the front doors. He slowly walked toward them, they couldn't see in threw the black tarps he had covered across the front of the doors and windows But he needed to make sure they weren't trying to do anything. The six rows of carts that he had place between him and the front doors was still in place and he knew it was okay to relax a little bit. He walked down to the other side to check those doors as well and nodded to himself.

He hurried back, only to stop again at the housewares section and grabbing two bowls and two spoons. He headed back toward sporting goods, he was out of breath but he took a few good deep breaths to make up for it. He told himself that tomorrow he was going to do some running down the main isles and get back into shape, he didn't want to be caught winded if he needed to get away fast. He walked back around the counters and back into the area where he set the bowls onto the counter and turned to look at her.

"I hope you like strawberry." He smiled then showing her the small quart of ice cream he was holding. "If not I can go get the chocolate." he added.

AS he got up to leave the room she smiled and nodded him off graciously accepting his departure. Once her eyes followed him leaving the room completely she shoved the last bit of food in her mouth and practically inhaled it with little effort for table manners. It didn't take long for her to finish what was left of he food, and begin to down the soda he'd given her. She poured herself a glass of wine and sipped away at it chasing it with the bottled water he'd left for her as well.

She gasped to catch her breath between gulps before she heard the footsteps approaching the area. She cleaned her lips with the back of her hand quickly, and positioned herself neatly in her chair as if she hadn't just gulped down her entire plate of food in a matter of moments. She cleared her throat and folded her hands in her lap as she looked up with a smile.

Watching him walk into the room her eyes caught his hands full of ice cream and bowls. Her eyes lit up as she focused on the container. as it a cruel joke. Of course...he had working generators here. Everything was still cold. She stood up from her seat and walked closer to him closing the distance before taking the pint from his hand. The cold feeling on her fingers made er body shiver with delight, "Oh....wow." Was all she could say.

She pushed the bowls aside on the counter and pulled herself up to sit on where the bowls once were. She picked up a spoon, pulled off the top and plunged the spoon in the soft ice cream with a grin at the familiar scent that filled her. She lifted the spoon to his lips with a smile, patiently waiting she giggled girlishly as she stared into his eyes.

He smiled at her as she hopped up onto the counter in front of him, she was closer than he might have expected her to be. A few inches to be exact, maybe she felt a little bit more comfortable around him, he did hope so. He watched as her spoon went into the ice cream and she dug out a decent size scope on the silver metal. He just kept his grin as she giggled at him.

"Best way to eat Ice cream I would think." He told her letting her know he didn't mind at all that she was eating it straight from the container, hell he had done it himself on many occasion to keep from having to clean a bowl. He grabbed the other spoon and waited til she cleared the container before he dug his into the soft ice cream and began to eat it as well, it was cold and tasted so good. He still watching her enjoy this little treat that many used to take for granted, but not anymore. "Its pretty good." He spoke digging in for some more. He paused before putting it into his mouth and offered it to her instead giving her a teasing smile. "Sweets for the sweet." he spoke then felt stupid for the comment. But he was never good with words around her. So he hoped she would forgive any stupid remarks he might say during their time together.

It was getting later and even though he would love to feed her the ice cream and see how long it took before she got a brain freeze, he knew he had to think of a place for her to sleep. Should he go get another cot and set it up on the opposite side of the area, so she would feel more comfortable and not think he was trying to jump her? Things just seemed to race threw his mind at the most inopportune moments. God he was such a dork.

She smiled as she continued to dig her spoon in the container i his hand. He spoke to her, and even threw a sweet little flirtatious comment in there that made her giggle. She blushed deeply trying to hide it behind her long dark as she hung her head. Her feet swung slightly as the dangled above the floor, with a childlike carefree joy. She smiled up at him once again when she felt her blush faded enough to make eye contact.
<p>
With a mischievous giggled she rose her spoon from the certain and tapped his nose with it. A strawberry smudge smeared on his nose making her burst into a bought of giggles again, "Sorry..." She apologized for her silly behavior before lifting her free hand to his face and slowly cleaning it away with her fingers. Her smile slowly faded as she looked into his eyes. The seriousness took over the moment as she leaned in little by little, as if drawn in by his stare. She paused for a moment her fingers moved from his nose to the side of his face, and pushed his hair up over his ear. With a short giggle and leaned in and playfully licked what was left on his nose, trying not to get so caught up in his eyes. Though it was proving near impossible. She placed the spoon on the counter next to her and let her hand moved to his chest. Her fingers played in the fabric of his shir for a moment, and soon enough the girlish smile faded once again, "You're really quite gorgeous."

Asher watched as she enjoyed the ice cream, he was glad to know that it was bring her so much happiness and as if she were being affected by it. Was she actually allergic to strawberries and she her self didn't know? Some people get sort of giggly and punch drunk if they can't eat certain things. He's seen if happen so many times, for him he can't drink orange juice without it making him feel like he's drunk, it's weird but it does happen. He was almost tempted to take the carton away from her but soon felt the spoon hit his nose. Feeling a bit embarrassed at it but heard her giggle, that soft giggle he had wanted to hear from anyone, but mostly from her, he just smiled at her.

He watched as she wiped off the ice cream then moved her hand down his cheek, those soft warm fingers gracefully touching him, sent chills threw his body, chills of pleasure and a sudden rush of heat toward his face. He watched as she leaned in and with the tip of her tongue she licked the rest off his nose. Now he knew he was red with heat. The next words that came from her lips where ones he had wished she had told him long ago, before any of this shit had started, why couldn't she have told him this before? He moved toward her as his hand gently cupped her cheek, her skin was soft in his palm, part of him wanted to rush in and just devour her with passion and part of him wanted to pull back and not scare her away. Fuck it, he moved in quick pressing his lips to hers filling her mouth with his excited tongue, it swam around playfully teasing her's. His breath heavy, his heart racing. God he was kissing her and she tasted sweet.

He moved closer toward her, his hands fumbling along her waist trying to find a spot to pull her closer to feel her next to him. He felt like a school boy getting laid for the first time, he was nervous as hell. His kiss was deep, filled with fire and passion that most would never have the chance to feel, it was building up with each passing moment. All he could think about was this was the girl of his dreams and he was now kissing her, he was now tasting her and he craved more. God forgive him for his lustful thoughts during these times, but he fucking wanted her bad. He grabbed a hold of her shirt and yanked it towards him scooting her bottom as he moved in between her thighs. His hand holding the back of neck pulled her into him further, kissing more and more feeling the pulsing of his heated member swelling thicker in his pants. His hunger reaching the edge of no return.

Keeping the kiss going, he moved his hands down toward her shirt and fiddling with each button as though he had forgotten how to do things he managed to pop each one apart. he moved the fabric away from her skin and reached in to feel her heated flesh with his shaking hands. He let loose a soft moan into her mouth.

The blush to her cheeks still bright crimson on Colorado as she looked into his eyes. Her girlish moment still fresh in her memory as she watched the desire flash in his eyes. It was unlike anything else she had seen with her own eyes before. A genuine need in him that simply could not have been built up in the short amount of time she had shared a dinner with him, and now openly complimented him in a flirtations manner. No...there was something far deeper then that in those eyes. Something that had been there for quite some time. She watched his mental process pass over his expression. Clearly wondering exactly what he should do with her now. The same question had flashed through her own thoughts.

Was it right to do this to this man? To let her fear, loss, and pain drive her to use his equal amount of hurt to simply ease her own for a short amount of time? Was that what it was, or did she truly feel something within her for this man? She was sure the same puzzled look crossed her own features as she watched him. However there was little more time to think.

He leaned in closing the distance between them, and soon his lips were pressed to hers. Reflecting the same desire she'd just seen flash through his sky blue eyes. His tongue mingled with her own before she was even aware her lips had parted enough for it's entry into her mouth. Her hand with the slightest bit of hesiitation reached for him, her finger clung to the fabric of his shirt at his chest, tugging lightly at it as her her tilted to one side enjoying the kiss he had to offer.

If it wasn't clear before it certainly was now...there were feelings in him he had for quite some time. Feeling he kept to himself all this time, and all the while he'd watched her from a distance with all of this passion trapped behind those eyes. She felt him take her in his grasp, with surprising strength to him easily pulling her closer to the edge of the counter. Her fingers clutched tighter, grasping handfuls of fabric as use felt his body press to hers. Between her own legs she'd finally felt just how badly he'd wanted her. She softly moaned to his lips as his finger began to unbutton her shirt and his slightly cool fingertips began to explore under the fabric along her newly exposed skin.

She felt her heart beat increase, wondering if he could feel the rapid thumping of it beneath her skin. She wondered if he could sense the increase of breath, or feel her heaving chest under his touch. Her thoughts continued to swirl around what he must have felt for her, and perhaps with all that had happened to her...before and after the world had ended, she could let someone in for a moment. She could trust in another human being long enough to feel something in return. Maybe she already did feel something for him...something she had yet to discover in herself.

Her legs wrapped around his hips gently pulling him in closer to her frame. Her back arched pulling at his shirt to keep his chest close to her own. Her hips jetted outward in his direction, craving to feel the buldge between her own legs. She moaned louder, letting go of all her hesitation, and all her thoughts of right and wrong. This was now, and in this moment he was the last man on earth she would dare trust to be this close to her.

(( typed this up on the kindle so I may have missed some crazy auto correcting. Sorry in advance. ))
