After I crown a World Heavyweight champion and race to be in the Championship Gauntlet, how should I do Championship rankings for individual titles? Obviously, the guys with the best records will definitely be at the top of the Heavyweight rankings for the sake of variety of each belts. What are your thoughts? |

I'd always rank you champions are the top of the list, but once they lose the belt I would probably go back off their win/loss record |

Same. Unless you know a way to factor in one's ability to kiss the boss's butt. |

Well, the champions wouldn't be in the Championship rankings by virtue of being champions. The rankings would help determine number one contenders. For Example, GCW World Heavyweight Champion: Colt Cabana (5-1) 1. Naomichi Marufuji (6-2) 2. Bobby Roode (6-3) I guess what I'm trying to get a feel for is if Bobby Roode is ranked number 2 in the Heavyweight rankings, should he be high up on the rankings in Diamond and Television? What kind of system should I implement in setting up a ranking system? I'm trying to figure out how UFC does it, but it seems tricky cause a guy 22-0 is ranked number 2 and a guy 18-5 is ranked first. |

Not sure how the UFC system works, then again when Brock Lesnar showed up their he lost his first fight but then got a title shot and won the belt so that kinda pissed all over that, but was most likely done quickly as a major money draw. I know the WWE's power rankings did a combination of record/ability of opponents/impact it left/stuff like that. Most likely this will involve a fair amount of manual thinking on your part with what ever system you use. I could see you getting a decent system up and running the problem would be sticking to it. |

Yeah, my first instinct is to do solely on the win/loss, but then the same guys would dominate all the divisions. So I think I may do a combination of record, impact of victory, and opponent quality. for each individual title division. |
