RELOADED MATCH #1: Session Moth Martina defeated Nikki Cross (with Bea Priestley) via DQ after The Queen of Sesh Style executed the Satellite DDT for the pinfall however Priestley pulled the official out of the ring to force the finish. The Demonic Sisterhood beat down on Martina after the bell. Xia Brookside came down to rescue her and then wiped the villains out with a Tope Suicida.

RELOADED MATCH #2: TK Cooper & Dahlia Black defeated BT Gunn & Jinny Couture in an Intergender Tag Team Match via pinfall when Dahlia fended off Jinny with an Asai Moonsault down to ringside whilst her boyfriend drilled The Oddity with the Scissors Kick for the concluding three count for the win. The power couple celebrated to cheers in the ring afterwards.

RELOADED MATCH #3: The Banter Edition defeated The Kings of the North via pinfall when El Ligero nailed Bonesaw with the C4L and Dave Mastiff put the final in the coffin with his finishing move; the Big Splash. The show came to it's conclusion with the winning team celebrating whilst The Kings of the North slowly made their way back through the curtain with their heads down.

EPW Live #69

Once Reloaded comes to an end, the Live broadcast opens with a recap of last week's episode which saw Big Damo dismantle Chris Brookes in a one-on-one main event and launching Kid Lykos in to the fans with a Gorilla Press Throw however The Dirty Wolf was held up by the fans who crowd-surfed him to safety in a historic visual to end the show. We also saw Will Ospreay beat Strangler Davis with assistance from Jimmy Havoc, Viper demanded a championship rematch however was met with even more insults and an interesting proposal from Noam Dar, Tyler Bate scored a victory over Zack Gibson, The American Wolves returned to the EPW ring to earn a spot in the upcoming four-team elimination match and Chief Deputy Dunne threw his name in to the hat for that match too. Tonight's show comes to you from Chester. We are just one week away from the two-hour special; EPW Live #70: Merseyside Mayhem. Mauro Ranallo and Nigel McGuinness welcome us to tonight's episode from behind the commentator's desk and run down the scheduled bill for the evening; Trent Seven vs. James Drake, Viper takes on Noam Dar in an intergender bout, a fatal-four-way with four competitors in next week's #1 contender's tag team match going at it and a main event which is yet to be revealed.

William Regal appears on the video screens to a huge cheer from the crowd. He welcomes the Chester audience and the fans at home to the final step towards next week's huge two-hour special. The commissioner confirms the six match card for next week including Jack Gallagher vs. Big Damo for the EPW British Undisputed Championship, Kay Lee Ray will defend her EPW British Women's Championship, Moustache Mountain vs. The Grizzled Young Veterans for the EPW British Tag Team Championships, Jimmy Havoc puts his EPW British Hardcore Championship on the line against Strangler Davis, a four-team elimination match with a title match at stake and Will Ospreay battles Joseph Conners as well as a special episode of Reloaded. That is not all though. Regal is also ready to announce tonight's main event. History will be made and all the necessary paperwork has been signed for Dave Finlay to come out of retirement to face off against a man who he vows to 'teach a lesson in an old school manner' after the conclusion of last week's episode; Kid Lykos. The fans in attendance show their approval with a cheer. A real showcase for Lykos to get one over on the veteran turned hooligan. There's also no doubt that Big Damo will be close by to watch though. The #1 contender will be determined to make a statement ahead of his big title bout next week. The commissioner also adds that Jack Gallagher is still recovering from his injury so won't be here. RJ Singh did catch up with him earlier in the week though for an update on his current situation.

Trent Seven vs. James Drake
These two represent the EPW British Tag Team Champions and the #1 contenders to the gold respectively. Next week, the two teams do battle however tonight we get a little preview as ½ of Moustache Mountain goes one-on-one against ½ of The Grizzled Young Veterans. James Drake, a.k.a Mr. Mayhem, gets this match off to an abrupt start as he attacks his opponent as he enters the ring. Repeated stomps follow while boos ring around the arena. The beat down doesn't last too long though. The Bombardier of Battery fights back with several jabs followed by a Spinning Backfist. As Drake finds his feet, he falls victim to a Vertical Suplex. Trent is far from done yet. He charges at his cornered opponent and blasts him with an Overhand Chop before rolling him down to the canvas and sitting up on the ropes. The champion flies through the air for a Diving Fist Drop. Drake manages to put his foot up to counter however Seven rolls him through in to a Bridging German Suplex for a two count. The old-school brawler winds up for the Seven Stars Lariat. As he approaches, he is caught with a Low Dropkick. James Drake then follows up with a Full Nelson Slam to turn the tables with immediate effect. A pin attempt is unsuccessful however Drake uses this advantage as a catalyst moving forward. He favours a slow, methodical offence moving forward. Trent Seven is slowly worn down by his opponent. With the referee's back turned, he rips the middle post off of the top turnbuckle. Mr. Mayhem then slowly peels his opponent up off the mat with the intention of launching him in to the exposed buckle. As he attempts an irish whip, The Bombardier of Battery begins to fight back. The champ then manages to duck a Clothesline and clocks Drake with a Headbutt to floor him. Once again, Seven winds up for the Seven Stars Lariat. He runs forward to attempt the moves, reaches his opponent and is thrown in to the already exposed turnbuckle. Drake then quickly picks his spot to drop Seven with the Sit-Out DDT. He then hooks the leg. The three count is made. James Drake has picked up a vital confidence boost for his team ahead of the big title match next week. The referee gets a short moment to lift the arm of the winner before he leaves the ring in a quick manner. As he backs up the aisle, Zack Gibson is there to greet him with a fist bump. Trent Seven slowly climbs up to his feet with the #1 contenders in sight. The official hands him back his title but Gibson warns him that Moustache Mountain's days as champions are numbered.

Wolfgang is watching the show from the locker room when he is approached by Joe Coffey. The two have a tense face-off before The Regulator asks his former ally what he wants. The Iron Man explains that he made an honest mistake last week but he is cut short. Wolfgang knows that Coffey didn't mean to cost him his match against Nathan Cruz on Reloaded. As Coffey acknowledges that the apology has been accepted, Wolfgang tells him what has angered him is the fact that he got involved in his business in the first place. He reminds them that the two of them aren't friends and he could have dealt with the situation on his own. Joe Coffey doesn't look happy. His adversary tells him that if he has a problem, then he will happily meet him in the ring for a match next week. The Iron Man accepts the challenge before storming out of the locker room. It looks like next week will be the stage for a Scottish heavyweight showdown.

Noam Dar vs. Viper
If Viper can win tonight, she will get her desired title match next week. Her opponent is the man who cost her the gold in the first place just one month ago. Noam Dar chose to stick his nose in women's division business when he helped Kay Lee Ray recapture her EPW British Women's Championship at EPW Live #65: A Gentleman's Homecoming. The Scottish Supernova makes his way down to the ring with his new ally's gold disrespectfully wrapped around his waist. Mauro Ranallo and Nigel McGuinness agree that this is an attempt by the reigning champion to get in to the head of her potential challenger. Noam Dar doesn't take the match seriously at all in the opening minutes. He hesitates any involvement and picks his spots well early on. He applies a Camel Clutch which Viper lifts her way out of with a tremendous feat of strength. The crowd cheer as she sends her male opponent dropping to the canvas with a Facebuster. As he springs up to his free, she knocks him down with three successive Clotheslines followed up by a Back Body Drop. Dar tries to escape the ring. Viper pulls him back in by his trunks and launches him up in the air for a Samoan Drop. He manages to counter it in to a Sunset Drop transitioned in to a Superkick. The fans boo as he takes pleasure in stomping down on the former champion. He even takes a premature victory lap of the ring to only rile up the crowd even more. When he focuses his attention back to his opponent, she has found her feet and picks him up in to a Bear Hug. She rag-dolls Noam from side to side to the delight of the Chester audience. Just before he looks like he may give up, she drops him in to the canvas with a Spinebuster. The damage has been done. You can see the frustration on the face of Viper. She wants justice and that is regaining the EPW British Women's Championship. The monster picks Noam Dar straight up before dumping him in to the canvas with her finishing move; the Chokeslam. She follows up with a Running Seated Senton to seal the deal. Jessika Carr counts three. The match is over and Viper is the #1 contender. As the bell sounds, she grabs the title belt that had been brought to the ring by her opponent and held it above her head. Kay Lee Ray appears on the stage still looking smug. This confuses us all as she has been avoiding a rematch with the new challenger for a while. KLR has a microphone and compliments her rival on her victory. Viper may have her rematch but all is not as it seems. The reigning champion reveals that the bout next week will not be a singles match, it will be a 2-on-1 Handicap Match with her teaming with Noam Dar against Viper. The new #1 contender is furious. She launches the belt half way up the ramp and starts arguing with the official. This gives Noam Dar time to sneak out of the ring after the beating he just took. As we head to a break, Viper stares down her two upcoming opponents from the ring.

Jimmy Havoc is in the ring with the bull rope he stole from Strangler Davis last week when we return. The EPW British Hardcore Champion tells his arch-rival that if he wants his trademark object back then he is going to have to come and get it. Mauro Ranallo, Nigel McGuinness and the fans in attendance are excited about the prospect of seeing a preview of next week's brutal title match. Davis makes his way down to ringside but as he reaches the ring, Havoc is jumped from behind by Joseph Conners. Strangler is quick to join in on the attack. The #1 contender to Havoc's title strangles The King of the Deathmatch will the bull rope whilst Conners kicks the life out of him. The Righteous Killer then holds down Jimmy so Strangler can whip him with the bull rope. Before he can do so, Will Ospreay's music plays and he sprints down the aisle to save the day. That was his intention anyway. He hits the ring but is blasted in the face with a Running Single Leg Dropkick by Joseph Conners. While Strangler Davis continues his beat down on Jimmy Havoc, Conners and Ospreay fight themselves. The Aerial Assassin manages to makes a comeback. He sets up for the Oscutter on The Righteous Killer but is blasted with a vicious forearm to the neck on his way down. This puts him in a vulnerable position. Joseph Conners quickly pounces and executes his finisher; the Don't Look Down. The two faces are now laid out with their heel counterparts left to take in boos from the crowd. Conners and Davis take a moment to shake hands and then leave the ring with the damage being done. They both meet their respective rivals next week and you can't help but think both Jimmy Havoc and Will Ospreay will be seeking redemption.

Chief Deputy Dunne vs. Eddie Edwards vs. Josh Bodom vs. Travis Banks
Three of the men in this match are representing their teams ahead of the four-team elimination match to take place next week with a shot at the EPW British Tag Team Championships at stake. One of the men in this match is fighting for a place in that match. That man is Chief Deputy Dunne. The self-proclaimed leader of The Anti-Fun Police only got a chance to be in this contest after commissioner William Regal used it as a way to get him to leave him alone last week. Victory however allows Dunne to pick a partner to join him in the previously mentioned match. He refuses to get involved in the opening minutes and opts to cowardly sit next to the commentators at ringside. Josh Bodom gets an early advantage over his opponents with some strikes and then a Pop-Up Knee Lift to Travis Banks. The Kiwi Buzzsaw tumbles down to ringside. Bodom gets a little cocky and flexes his muscles to a booing crowd. This gives Eddie Edwards time to get up and start unleashing some knife-edge chops and stiff shoot kicks to the rookie. Edwards then follows up with a Falcon Arrow. Bodom rolls to safety and ½ of The American Wolves is left to take in cheers from the crowd. Travis Banks comes back in leading to a showdown between himself and the American import. They both try to out-chop each other. Neither will give in. Eddie Edwards softens Banks up with some shoot kicks before nailing him with a Roundhouse Kick to send him stumbling in to the ropes. As he comes back, The Kiwi Buzzsaw responds with a Rolling Wheel Kick. Edwards rolls out to ringside. He meets Josh Bodom at ringside and the two fight between them. This gives Travis Banks the opportunity to launch himself through the air with a Somersault Senton to the outside on to his opponents. Chief Deputy Dunne takes the chance to get involved. He quickly rolls Travis back in to the ring and pulls off a Springboard DDT. The self-proclaimed leader of The Anti-Fun Police hooks the leg desperately but only manages a two. His frustration is evident. Eventually, Eddie Edwards re-enters the fray and gets his hands on the antagonist. He throws some knife-edge chops in the corner on Dunne before setting him up for a Frankensteiner. As he does, Josh Bodom rolls back in and knocks Eddie Edwards down with a Jumping Corkscrew Roundhouse Kick out of nowhere. This is followed up by a Standing Shooting Star Press which he uses as a catalyst to nail the Bliss Buster. Josh Bodom moves over to hook the leg when Chief Deputy Dunne leaps off the ropes. He floors Bodom with a Springboard DDT, rolls over to the body of Eddie Edwards and makes the cover. The referee counts three. Chief Deputy Dunne has picked up the win. Even he can't believe it. As the official raises his arm, his mouth is wide open in shock and the self-proclaimed leader of The Anti-Fun Police does a victory lap of the ring. His angry opponents begin to surface. Dunne senses the mood has gone sour and flees the ring but takes pleasure in rubbing his win in to the faces of the fans in the front row.

As we return from the break, we head to RJ Singh's interview with Jack Gallagher which was taped a couple of days ago. The EPW British Undisputed Champion appears as humble as ever. The interviewer congratulates him on a fantastic title reign up until now defeating the likes of Pete Dunne, Jimmy Havoc, Joe Coffey and Marty Scurll to retain that gold. RJ moves on to the matter at hand and that's whether after the beating he took at the hands of Big Damo, is he really able to defend the gold next week. The champ confirms that he is not 100% right now. He admits that The Beast From Belfast did a number on him and he doesn't think he will ever be the same again. One thing that The Extraordinary Gentleman has promised to everybody is that he will be the fighting champion that they deserve. He will not shy away from any challenge as he attempts to represent this country and company with the honour and dignity it deserves. William Regal even offered to delay the match until he is fully healed however he believes that would be short changing the fans. One thing they can be sure of is a classic title match next week. What Big Damo can also be sure of is one hell of a fight because The Beast From Belfast may be the biggest test he has faced so far as champion but he's made a name out of defying the odds. Jack Gallagher stares right down the lens of the camera as RJ Singh thanks him for his time. The champ eventually turns around, shakes the interviewer's hand and leaves the room.

Dave Finlay vs. Kid Lykos
This match all spurred on from last week as The Dirty Wolf nearly embarrassed the veteran from Belfast after the Big Damo vs. Chris Brookes match before the #1 contender came to his associate's rescue and launched Kid Lykos in to the crowd. Luckily for Lykos, the fans united to hold him up and crowd surf him to safety which appeared to anger the Irishmen. William Regal has had enough of seeing Dave Finlay get physical in situations where it doesn't warrant him to so has persuaded him to come out of retirement for the night to take on Kid Lykos. The 59-year old bruiser comes down to the ring. He demands the fans treat him with respect which doesn't help his cause. They are well behind his opponent as he makes his way down to the squared circle. Nigel McGuinness thinks the cruiserweight's chance to beat a legend like Finlay could be game changing for him. The masked high-flyer uses his speed advantage to overwhelm The Belfast Bruiser early on but is eventually cut off with a High Knee. He then follows up with a Leg Drop and executes the Rolling Hills for the first two count of the contest. As Finlay stomps down on his smaller rival, Big Damo appears on the stage and slowly walks down the aisle. The #1 contender takes a stand at ringside to watch the match closely. The fans light up as Chris Brookes jogs down too to keep his eye on The Beast From Belfast. He is determined to be there for his tag team partner just like his partner was for him last week. Finlay goes for a Short-Arm Clothesline. Kid Lykos manages to duck it and responds with a Wheelbarrow Bulldog. He then pulls off a Lionsault for another two count. The Dirty Wolf decides to set up for the Spanish Fly. The experienced veteran cuts him off with some punches to turn the tables and executes a Michinoku Driver from the second rope for another two count for himself. He then attempts to slingshot Lykos in to the turnbuckles but the referee is in the way. The high-flyer collides with the referee. This throws the match right up in to the air. In the mean time, Big Damo wipes out Chris Brookes with a Running Body Block at ringside. He then throws him over the announce desk before tossing a shillelagh to his mentor in the ring. As Damo turns back to beat on Brookes at ringside, Finlay lines up to cave Lykos' head in with the weapon. He swings, misses and The Dirty Wolf nails him with a Spinning Brainbuster. He covers the veteran. The referee slowly counts and manages to reach three. Kid Lykos picks up the win. 'Human Fly' plays as the official raises the arm of the victor. It isn't long until he is blind sided by Big Damo. The music cuts off as he tosses Lykos out to ringside with a Gorilla Press Throw but this week on to the cold, hard floor below. The #1 contender then helps up his fallen mentor who looks up at the monster asking 'where were you?' Damo shakes his head in disapproval. He floors Finlay with a thunderous Lariat before following up with a Running Senton. The Beast From Belfast has laid out his one last associate just one week away from his all-important title bout. Big Damo then locks on the Cu Chullain's Wrath with reckless abandon until security flood the ring. He eventually releases the hold and the show closes with the possible future champion staring down the camera.

Enjoyed the intergender match. With the added stipulation of the upcoming title match being 2-on-1 gives KLR a legit chance at retaining, but got the feeling it still won’t be enough.

Nice to see Finlay in action, was good to see him answer for his actions and step back in the ring. Big upset with Kid Lycos taking the fall, though no surprise with big Damo taking him out after the bell. Didn't expect the timing of Damo turning on Finlay to turn out the way it did, but it looks like the big man's back on his own, which won't give him any excuses when he faces Gallagher.
