RELOADED MATCH #1: Bea Priestley (with Nikki Cross) defeated Xia Brookside via pinfall when she forced her way out of the Iconoclasm and nailed her with the Rolling Cutter for a three count. RJ Singh interviewed The Demonic Sisterhood after the match. They indicated that they are not done yet as far as tonight is concerned. When asked to go in to more detail, they left the ring. RELOADED MATCH #2: Session Moth Martina defeated Nixon Newell via pinfall as she caught the former champion mid-way through an attempt at the Shining Wizard and dropped her with a Running Sitout Powerbomb for the concluding three count. The Queen of Sesh Style celebrated after the bell with a couple of cans. Martina has several consecutive wins under her belt now. RELOADED MATCH #3: Joe Coffey defeated Wolfgang via pinfall with the Discus Lariat. The Iron Man managed to kick out of the Howling earlier in the match too. After the bell, the two heavyweights had a tense stare-down. They did not come to blows however opted for a mutual nod of respect rather than a handshake. The Regulator left the victor to take in the cheers of the crowd at the end of the show. EPW Live #70: Merseyside Mayhem After Reloaded comes to an end, we begin the two-hour special episode of Live with a video recap of the recent feuds to the sound of Morrissey - Spent The Day In Bed. Big Damo will challenge Jack Gallagher for the EPW British Undisputed Championship in the main event. We will also see Moustache Mountain defend their EPW British Tag Team Championships for the very first time against The Grizzled Young Veterans, Kay Lee Ray has the help of Noam Dar as she puts her EPW British Women's Champion on the line against former champion Viper in a 2-on-1 Handicap Match, Jimmy Havoc vs. Strangler Davis in a Bull Rope Match with the EPW British Hardcore Championship at stake, Will Ospreay battles Joseph Conners in a singles match and a four-team elimination match. Mauro Ranallo and Nigel McGuinness are on hand to welcome us to a packed out Echo Arena in Liverpool who are chanting the company name in unison whilst the camera pans round. Jim Smallman then enters the ring to indicate that it is time to kick off the in-ring action. He is joined by referee Chris Roberts. EPW British Tag Team Championships Moustache Mountain © vs. The Grizzled Young Veterans Liverpool's Number One is usually public enemy #1 in every arena that he performs in however tonight he is given a warm welcome when he walks out in the local team's colours. Zack Gibson doesn't show off to the crowd however seems smug at the far cry from what he is used to. As the challengers await the champions, Nigel McGuinness reminds us that Gibson already has a 3-month reign with the gold under his belt with former ally Dave Mastiff. This is his opportunity to be the first ever two-time holder of this specific title. Moustache Mountain still get cheers on their way down despite their opponent's place of origin. They reach the ring and it is Trent Seven and James Drake to start the match. The Bombardier of Battery is the driving force in the early moments of the contest. He forces Mr. Mayhem in to the corner and lays in some overhand chops which can be heard throughout the arena. As he attempts a Vertical Suplex, Drake escapes and then runs the ropes to a Running STO on the rebound. He uses the opportunity to tag in Zack Gibson. The Liverpudlian gets a cheer but proves he means business with repeated kicks to the back of the head of his grounded opponent. Gibson then follows up with two punches, a shoot kick, a back fist and a lariat followed up by a Running Knee Drop. As he begins to relish in the cheers, he also assures that his opponent can get nowhere near his corner. Trent Seven is repeatedly cut off from any attempts to make the tag. Liverpool's Number One pulls off a Dragon Screw before applying a Liontamer. He forces his knee down on the back of his rival's head. Trent Seven doesn't have an ounce of quit in him though and eventually powers out of the move. He then delivers a couple of clotheslines with a wrist-lock transitioned in to a big forearm to boot. The Bombardier of Battery then finally jumps over for the tag. Trent Seven is in. In the mean time, Zack Gibson manages to tag out too. Drake and Bate meet in the middle and immediately trade strikes. Mr. Mayhem gets the best of it when he scores a knee to the gut and executes a Box Cutter Backbreaker for a near fall. Once he wears down the 20-year old rookie down to suitable size, he locks him in to position for his finisher; the Sitout DDT. The move came at a premature moment though. Tyler Bate finds the might to fight out and shoves him in to the turnbuckles. The Iron Master pulls off a Monkey Flip out of the corner, a Dropkick and an Airplane Spin sending his opponent falling down to the canvas. With the crowd behind him, Tyler quickly ventures to the top turnbuckle. The fans in Liverpool go nuts as he executes a Corkscrew Senton Bomb. He hooks the leg. The referee counts however Zack Gibson jumps in to break the fall before three. Trent Seven soon joins the fray with all four men in the ring. He wipes Gibson out with a right hand however the referee is adamant to restore order. As Roberts tells Seven to get out, The Grizzled Young Veterans take advantage and deliver the Hart Attack. Gibson scrambles to then take Seven out over the ropes with a clothesline. James Drake hooks the leg. The official turns to count. Tyler Bate kicks out just before three. The challengers remain in control for a short while with Liverpool's Number One tagging back in to keep things fresh. After chopping down Bate, he picks him up and drops him on the deck with his signature move; the Helter Skelter Brainbuster. The crowd pop when he locks on the Shankley Gates. The Iron Master refuses to tap out though which greatly frustrates the former champion who has the hold locked on tight. Tyler eventually shows his technical prowess and ring awareness by rolling out through the legs, countering the move and nailing Gibson with a Pumphandle Drop. Zack quickly tags out however Bate is on hand to pop Drake with some jabs to the jaw. He tries to follow up with the Tyler Driver '97. Mr. Mayhem manages to land on his feet. He attempts a Short-Arm Clothesline. Bate ducks it and responds with a Rebound Lariat. The Iron Master is on a roll here tonight. The crowd approve. Zack Gibson shows signs of life on the apron however Tyler sends him flying back in to the steel barricade with a Baseball Slide. As he tags in Trent Seven, The Bombardier of Battery quickly lifts James Drake on to the corner. Moustache Mountain then assemble to execute an Assisted Spike Piledriver of which we have never seen from the duo before. Trent Seven hooks the leg. The referee counts to three and Moustache Mountain retain. Once their arms are raised in victory, Zack Gibson realises the result and is fuming. He slowly drags his partner to safety before slowly hobbling to the back. The retaining champs celebrate to a positive response. A fantastic opener. RJ Singh is in the locker room of Jack Gallagher. The EPW British Undisputed Champion is already preparing for the main event later tonight. He is asked on how his condition is right now. Gallagher responds by telling us that despite not being quite 100% yet, he is feeling ready for the challenge ahead. Singh then asks what the champion thinks he might lay ahead for him tonight. The Extraordinary Gentleman is under no illusion that he is going to have to pull a miracle out of the bag to retain his gold however he has made a name for himself by overcoming the odds and proving that he is the best this country has to offer. Even after William Regal gave him the chance to delay this match, he said no because he wanted to stay true to his word that he is a fighting champion. The people had enough of seeing champions that avoided real competition in the likes of Pete Dunne and Marty Scurll. He was the catalyst for change and the change is gonna keep on coming. He finally finishes off by stating that Big Damo is going to have to take his last breath from him if he thinks he is taking the EPW British Undisputed Championship from him. RJ thanks the champ for his time and wishes him good luck for the main event. Bull Rope Match for the EPW British Hardcore Championship Jimmy Havoc © vs. Strangler Davis Our ring announcer Jim Smallman reveals the rules. Both men will be linked to one another by a bull rope. The contest can be won by pinfall or either man touching all four turnbuckles in succession. The challenger makes his way out to the ring to a frosty reception from the Liverpool fan base. He takes a moment to hoist his bull rope up in to the air before handing it over to the referee to his wrist. The champion is welcomed to the ring to cheers. The King of the Deathmatch slowly stomps down the aisle and then steps in to the ring to go nose-to-nose with his arch-enemy. After handing over his title belt with his eyes still locked on Strangler Davis, the referee ties the opposite side of the bull rope to Jimmy Havoc's wrist. The beginning of the match is a slow one with the two men wearing each other down. Strangler Davis eventually gets the upper hand and pulls off a Big Boot, an Elbow Drop and a Release Powerbomb. He then takes to the outside of the ring to pull out a cowbell from under the ring. After getting back in to the ring, he drags Havoc in to nail him with the cowbell but is clocked with a Discus Elbow Smash instead. Jimmy throws some closed fists before driving the cowbell in to the forehead of Strangler. He springboards off the ropes. The champion is dragged back down to the canvas though and Davis pulls him back up to execute a Fallaway Slam. The fans boo when the challenger steps out to pull out some more weapons from under the ring. After strangling his opponent with the bull rope, he swings at Havoc as he tries to get up. Strangler Davis definitely has the momentum in his favour. The London based brawler attempts a Swinging Neckbreaker but Jimmy Havoc clocks him with an elbow before he can drag him down. He uses the advantage to pick up a staple gun and then blasts Davis in the arm with it. The champ follows up with a few more staples to exposed parts of the skin. The King of the Deathmatch puts a steel chair under Strangler's head and then proceeds to pull off a Curb Stomp. Davis' head was sandwiched between Havoc's foot and the steel. Jimmy uses this as an opportunity to tag two of the posts. As he approaches the third, his recovered opponent pulls him in to a Scoop Slam in to the turnbuckles. Havoc is locked in a Tree of Woe which Davis uses as an opportunity to choke him with the bull rope. You can see the life being choked out of the champion. This doesn't look good. Strangler eventually releases and hammers down on three of the turnbuckles. His attempt to pick up the win is foiled when Havoc pops the crowd by charging forward to nail a Low Blow with the cowbell. The champion hoists his rival in to position and drops him with the Go Home Driver. He holds on for the pin. The referee counts. It isn't enough though. Strangler kicks out at two. You can see the eyes of Havoc glaze over and he grabs a nearby fire extinguisher. The King of the Deathmatch clocks Strangler with the metal before spraying him in the face and sending the challenger stumbling around the ring. Jimmy Havoc quickly taps three of the turnbuckles. In the mean time, Strangler uses the turnbuckle to keep himself on his feet. The champion sees that the last turnbuckle is behind the challenger. He goes to leap over Davis to hammer it however he emerges from the chemical powder of the fire extinguisher and catches him in mid-air. His opponent then counters the attempt in to his finishing submission; the Stranglehold. The finisher is locker on with reckless abandon until Jimmy Havoc fades. The lifeless body of the champion lays on the floor when the Stranglehold is released. The challenger slowly stumbles to each turnbuckle to tap it. He reaches the fourth and referee Steve Lynskey calls for the bell. Strangler Davis is the new EPW British Hardcore Champion. The new champion did what he set out to do. As the official hands him his newly-won belt, he stares at it for a moment and then hoists it above his head. The brawler then disrespectfully places one foot on the chest of the unconscious former champion to display his superiority. Strangler soon leaves with his place at the top of the hardcore division now official. RJ Singh is joined by Chief Deputy Dunne for an interview. The interviewer comments that the leader of The Anti-Fun Police is all alone and doesn't have a partner by his side ahead of the four-team elimination match later on. Dunne knows that everybody around here thinks that he is a square, a bore a party pooper however it isn't just him fighting the fight against fun. Soon others will follow suit in English Pro Wrestling after they see who he has on his side. Singh presses him for a name or even a clue. Dunne says that what he wants is a guessing game and games mean fun which is exactly what he advocates against. The straight-laced superstar has decided that RJ Singh, the morons that fill the Echo Arena and the viewing audience at home will have to just show some decorum and wait. He then shoves past RJ to put an end to the segment. EPW British Women's Championship Kay Lee Ray © & Noam Dar vs. Viper This is the very first title match in the women's division to officially involve a male wrestler on the EPW roster. Most do not approve however they are behind Viper finally getting her championship rematch after Kay Lee Ray stole the gold one month ago with help from her new ally Noam Dar. She gets a fantastic reception on her way down the aisle. The power couple of the women's division do not though. They don't seem too phased and show off their newfound love with a public display of affection in the ring. Viper cuts that short with a Running Body Block. The match begins with herself and Noam Dar as the legal wrestlers. She rag-dolls him around the ring before following it up with some knife-edge chops. After executing a couple of slams, she sets up for a Running Powerslam. The Scottish Supernova escapes to land on his feet behind his opponent. He delivers two European Uppercuts and a Dropkick and then turns to the crowd to boast. The move didn't floor Viper though. She grabs him and drops him with a Vertical Suplex. The monster then attempts a Corner Slingshot Splash. As she leaps, Noam gets his knees up. He tags in Kay Lee Ray and the two of them finally floor the challenger with a Double Jumping DDT. The champion actually does a good job keeping the #1 contender grounded. She knows if Viper gets up, she is under a massive size disadvantage. It can only last so long though. Viper finds her feet, catches KLR and applies a Bear Hug in the middle. The champ tries to headbutt her way out of it but is dropped down to the canvas with a Spinebuster. Viper runs the ropes to deliver a Running Seated Senton for a pin which is broken by Noam Dar. The Scottish Supernova pulls off several stomps but is chased out by the challenger. As she turns back to the task at hand, Noam Dar blasts her with a Running Dropkick to the back of the head. Viper then staggers in to a Snap DDT by Kay Lee Ray who climbs up the turnbuckles. She leaps through the air, attempts the Swanton Bomb but Viper rolls to safety. The monster then takes the chance to grab the champion by the throat. The fans are on their feet when she drops her with her finisher; the Chokeslam. The #1 contender is in pole position however looks like she isn't done yet. She nods her head and then, to the delight of the crowd, slowly climbs the ropes. She teases a Moonsault. Just before she can leap, she is suddenly jumped out of nowhere by Nikki Cross and Bea Priestley. The Demonic Sisterhood have struck. In the mean time, Jessika Carr has been distracted by Noam Dar who is doing his best to divert her attention momentarily. Cross and Priestley repeatedly strike Viper before dragging her off the top rope and through the announce table. Boos fill the Echo Arena. Viper lies in a wreck at ringside. As Nikki and Bea quickly disappear in to the night, Noam Dar backs off and she turns back to the match. Jessika Carr can only assume she fell with the attackers nowhere to be seen. She counts out Viper but as she reaches seven, we begin to see movement. The #1 contender slowly moves towards the squared circle. As she rolls back in, her opponent lands on her with the Swanton Bomb. She hooks the leg. Jessika Carr counts the three. Kay Lee Ray retains her title. Noam Dar does a victory lap with the gold before handing it to it's rightful owner. They have stolen the win from Viper for the second month in a row. After the referee raises the arm of the winners, they proudly waltz to the back. Medics rush down to check on the condition of Viper. She looks in a bad way. Big Damo is warming up for his main event match later on. He isn't just doing hindu squats though. The Beast From Belfast starts headbutting the lockers and launching chairs. This is certainly an unorthodox and savage method of getting focused. Out of nowhere, The Kings of the North charge the ring and blind side the #1 contender. They repeatedly strike him until he falls to his knees. The man beast flicks his hair up only to have a steel chair launched at his skull. Damien Corvin then grabs him in a headlock whilst Damien Corvin stomps on Damo however suddenly the big man springs up and shoves both men away. He then begins to fight back. We see Bonesaw launched in to a locker before sling shotted in to a wall. Big Damo then gets hold of Damien Corvin to slam him on to concrete floor below. The #1 contender then tosses both men through the door of the locker room, demands they stay out of his business and slams it shut again. Big Damo isn't going to let anything deter him from his title match. Will Ospreay vs. Joseph Conners The Aerial Assassin has been back a month now and his new attitude seems to be getting him back to winning ways. The fan favourite enters the ring looking focused at the task at hand and doesn't intend on taking his opponent lightly. The Righteous Killer is welcomed to the ring with boos from the Liverpool fans. He doesn't seem too bothered though The aim for him is to come off his huge debut victory against Doug Williams with another win against another British wrestling stand-out. Joseph Conners keeps up with his opponent in the opening minutes. He pulls off a Back Suplex, a Running Leg Drop and a Spin-Out Powerbomb in quick succession for an early near fall. The technician applies a nerve hold to which Will Ospreay responds with a Hip Toss to turn the tables. He follows up with a Dropkick, a Running Knee Strike and a Standing Shooting Star Press for a near fall himself. The fans are up as Ospreay climbs to the top rope. He dives off for a 450 Splash. Conners moves however Ospreay rolls through and pulls off a Hurricanrana anyway. The heel quickly flees the ring. As he tries to take a breather at ringside, The Aerial Assassin flies over the ropes to attempt the Sasuke Special. Joseph Conners catches him with a Jumping Roundhouse Kick on the way down though. He then throws Ospreay in to the steel steps and rolls him back in the ring to dominate the match once again. The Righteous Killer executes a Russian Leg Sweep in to the turnbuckles. The methodical villain continues to work the neck with a grounded approach with the intention of executing his finishing move; the Don't Look Down. He irish whips his opponent however his opponent responds in to an Octopus Hold. Conners drops to one knee but breaks the hold by sandwiching his opponent between himself and the turnbuckles. As The Righteous Killer throws a clothesline, Ospreay blocks it and drills him with a Roundhouse Kick. The Aerial Assassin then springs off the turnbuckles. He executes the Oscutter on the way down and hooks the leg. The official counts. He reaches three. Will Ospreay picks up the win. The Essex born high-flyer slowly finds his feet and has his arm raised in victory.. He then takes to each corner to salute his cheering fans. Once he hops down from the fourth, Joseph Conners is seething in the opposite corner. The Righteous Killer pounces with a post-match attack. After hammering down with some closed fist punches, he decides to hook him up for the Don't Look Down. The crowd's attention is then turned to the stage when Acid Nymph's 'Stitches' blasts over the speakers. Mark Haskins sprints down the aisle with a steel chair in hand to the rescue. Conners in in a state of shock. As Haskins reaches the ring, he decides to make a move and flee the ring. The Righteous Killer disappears to the back. He doesn't take his eyes off his newfound enemy until passing back through the curtain. Will Ospreay finds his feet again. When he approaches to thank Haskins, he is blasted with the steel chair and falls down to the canvas. The fans are in shock. So are Mauro Ranallo and Nigel McGuinness who are speechless. The attacker drops the steel chair whilst slowly tilting his head to the right. He unmercifully drags his victim up and drops him back down with the Death Valley Driver. At this moment, our attention is diverted to ringside where a mysterious red-headed female is watching with a villainous smile on her face. Nigel McGuinness knows who she is. He reveals her as the wife of Mark; Vicky Haskins. She nods her head in approval as her husband applies the Low Sharpshooter in the middle of the ring to Will Ospreay. Security pour out from the back and he is forced to release the hold. He eventually joins his wife at ringside. They link arms to make a slow walk up the aisle. This is a side of Mark Haskins we have never seen before in English Pro Wrestling. After Will Ospreay is helped back through the curtain, 'One True Villain' by Hot Tag Media Works is heard across the speakers. Marty Scurll walks out on to the stage decked out in a suit and makes his way down to the ring to a mixed reaction. Nigel McGuinness informs us that the former champion has requested some time to address the EPW fans. Once he reaches the squared circle, he tells us all that he has returned after a month on the sidelines to do what he does best; cause a spot of bother. The Villain has kept his ear to the ground and the sources tell him that the Battle For The Briefcase will return next month to give one man a golden opportunity. Last time the match took place, it was him who held the title however this time round the shoe is on the other foot and the hunted has become the hunter. Marty Scurll then throws his hat in to the mix for said match which gets a cheer from the fans. Whether you love him or hate him, he's a tremendous addition to the six-man ladder match. He promises to climb the ladder and cash in his opportunity to do what he failed to do last month; become EPW British Undisputed Champion. The Villain then goes to leave the ring. 'Regality' by Jim Johnston plays to another big cheer. William Regal walks out on to the stage to stop Marty in his tracks. He announces that Battle For The Briefcase will return. The commissioner reveals that Scurll cannot just enter himself in the match though and he will have to qualify. The ex-champ doesn't seem phased by this. He asks who he has to go through to get his chance on the briefcase. 'Iron Man' by Black Sabbath plays. Joe Coffey walks out to join the commissioner on the stage. He apologises for the interruption and throws his hat in to the mix as well. The Scottish powerhouse wants to take on The Villain next week for the opportunity to enter his first Battle For The Briefcase Match. Regal agrees to the match and announces it as next week's main event. The segment ends with Coffey staring a hole in to Scurll who stands on the turnbuckles pointing at his opponent for next week. #1 Contendership Fatal-Four-Way Elimination Tag Team Match Muscle, Steel & Sex Appeal vs. The American Wolves vs. The South Pacific Power Trip (with Dahlia Black) vs. Chief Deputy Dunne & ??? These four teams each qualified for this opportunity to challenge for the EPW British Tag Team Championships next month. Nathan Cruz and Josh Bodom beat The C.C.K in Rotherham. Travis Banks and TK Cooper bested the team of Joe Coffey and Wolfgang three weeks ago. A couple of weeks ago, The American Wolves defeated former champions The Kings of the North. Chief Deputy Dunne won a 4 Corners Match last week to earn a spot in the match too with William Regal giving him the opportunity to bring in anybody he wanted to be his partner. The self-proclaimed leader of The Anti-Fun Police doesn't enter with a partner though. When questioned by the official, he told him that he is late and will be here soon. The match is started with the referee's approval. Nathan Cruz and Travis Banks put on a technical master class in the opening minute which gets a round of applause. Josh Bodom tags himself in however doesn't have as much luck and gets chopped to size in the corner by The Kiwi Buzzsaw. Banks tags in Davey Richards who does the same. He adds some stiff some kicks to boot leading to The American Wolves delivering the Fall of the Overlords for the first near fall of the contest. Bodom looks for a tag out to Chief Deputy Dunne who jumps off the apron to ringside. Instead, Bodom tags in TK Cooper who fails to out-wrestle Eddie Edwards. The American import delivers a Backpack Stunner followed by a Double Foot Stomp for a two count. He then lifts Cooper up to attempt the Die Hard Driver. Nathan Cruz sneaks a tag whilst he executes the move and then quickly throws Davey Richards in to the steel steps. Edwards makes the pinfall. He wonders why the referee is counting and gets up to ask why. As he does, Cruz has jumped off the ropes to deliver a Diving Double Knee Backbreaker out of nowhere. The Prima Donna then tags in Travis Banks. The Kiwi Buzzsaw is slightly hesitant. There is a title shot on the line though so he nails the Spinning Torture Rack Slam for the pinfall. Cruz still continues to hold off Richards from breaking the count. The referee counts three. It is a surprise to everyone to see The American Wolves eliminated first. Muscle, Steel and Sex Appeal can take the credit for it despite not getting the actual fall. We are down to three teams but Chief Deputy Dunne is still not getting involved. Luckily for him, the other two teams fight between themselves. Nathan Cruz is dumped out to ringside. He is followed by Travis Banks who flies to the outside to send him in to the barricades with a Tope Suicida. As he takes in the cheers from the crowd, Josh Bodom catches him off-guard with an Asai Moonsault. All three men then slowly climb up and are greeted with a Loverdose Corkscrew by TK Cooper. The fans chant 'HOLY SHIT' in unison after a barrage of aerial, high-risk moves. Chief Deputy Dunne is starting to look anxious. His mystery partner has not arrived yet and it becomes clear that he was supposed to be here by now. Once the legal men get back in to the ring, they begin to trade blows. TK Cooper gets the upper hand. He runs the ropes to hit his finishing move; the Scissors Kick. Nathan Cruz moves at the last moment and executes the One Night Stand. He hooks the leg for the pin. The referee counts two however Travis Banks makes the save. The Kiwi Buzzsaw is forced back in to his corner. He watches on as his partner tries to fight back but fails over and over. Eventually, TK delivers an Enzuiguri. He gets the tag and in comes Travis Banks. The Kiwi Buzzsaw charges in with clotheslines, dropkicks and hip tosses to each of his opponents. He then blasts Nathan Cruz with a Buzzsaw Kick. The South Pacific Power Trip assemble together in the ring and knock Josh Bodom off the apron. Cruz staggers to his feet. He is then dropped with the Combination DDT for the three count. Muscle, Steel and Sex Appeal are eliminated. They slowly disappear to the back as The South Pacific Power Trip demand Chief Deputy Dunne get in the ring. The referee says that he will have to go it alone if his partner doesn't show. As he paces around the ring, he bumps in to Dahlia Black who throws him in to the ring. The self-proclaimed leader of The Anti-Fun Police is on his knees begging for time. Before Travis and TK continue, a familiar theme tune blasts over the speakers. Out walks Pete Dunne who stomps down to the ring to a huge reaction. Who knows if it is cheers and jeers but it is loud. The Bruiserweight hasn't been seen in five months since he lost his title at EPW Live #50: This Is England. As he climbs in to the ring, he gets right to action by taking down Banks and wading down with rights and lefts. Pete Dunne is tenacious. In the mean time, Chief Deputy Dunne pulls TK Cooper out of the ring. This gives the ex-champ time to launch The Kiwi Buzzsaw in to the ring post and finishes him off with one of the most feared finishers in English Pro Wrestling history; the Bitter End. He hooks the leg and the official counts three. Pete Dunne and Chief Deputy Dunne are the #1 contenders. The Bruiserweight's arm is raised by the referee and he demands Chief Deputy Dunne pass him a microphone. He informs us that after seeking pastures new over the pond didn't quite go to plan, he had to find a way back in over here and it appears he now has. William Regal gave his brother an open contract to bring in anybody as his partner whether he likes it not and here before the world stands the new #1 contender to the EPW British Tag Team Championships. Chief Deputy Dunne steps in the ring alongside The Bruiserweight. As he nods in approval with a smile on his face, Pete Dunne warns the commissioner that The Dunne Brothers are out to win championship gold so HE can once again get a place on the roster and claw his way to what should be his; the EPW British Undisputed Championship. Everybody is still in a state of shock as The Dunne Brothers leave the ring with their EPW British Tag Team Championship match to come. It appears that the disgraced former champion has found a way back in. RJ Singh catches up with Mark Haskins who is leaving the arena alongside his wife; Vicky Haskins. The interviewer questions what motivated his actions tonight. 'WHY HASKINS WHY?' are the first words yelled out of the mouth of Mark Haskins. He says that this would be the question people would ask if he had any value in this company. The angry superstar claims that his record speaks for itself yet nobody seems to want to give him an opportunity to challenge for any championship gold. Haskins isn't about to watch Ospreay waltz to the top after stringing together a couple of wins when he has been busting his arse for months and has seen zero upwards momentum. It's clear he isn't having anything handed to him anytime soon so he is going to take it. If anybody thinks they're going to leapfrog him to the top, then he will knock them down just like he did Ospreay. Vicky Haskins then pipes up. She is sick of watching her husband get treated by dirt and disrespected. They have a son at home to provide for. Mark has tried to be the sweet, innocent, heroic idol that his son can look up to for far too long but it's clear that he is going to have to play by different rules if he is to really provide for his family from now on. Mark Haskins ends the interview by warning us that the real cream is about to the top. The frustrated wrestler and his furious wife end the interview on an abrupt note. EPW British Undisputed Championship Jack Gallagher © vs. Big Damo The Beast From Belfast convincingly earned his guaranteed title bout by defeating Joe Coffey in a #1 Contender's Match at EPW Live #70. On that night we also saw Jack Gallagher unify the EPW British National Championship and the EPW All England Championship with a win to become the first EPW British Undisputed Champion. The two have been on a collision course since which saw Big Damo put The Extraordinary Gentleman on the shelf for a couple of weeks after a brutal assault at EPW Live #67. The Irish heavyweight has still torn through the competition ever since which is making him even more of a legitimate contender for the gold. Damo gets a mixed response on his way down to the ring however the Liverpudlian fans are definitely more in favour of his opponent at the start of the match. The reigning champion gets a warm welcome as he trots down the aisle to 'Toreador'. The two men have a face-to-face before the bell however Gallagher only comes up to his opponent's chest. Damo is 6ft 4in. Jack Gallagher is 5ft 8in. There is also a noticeable size advantage for the challenge of over 150bs. Mauro Ranallo names this the ultimate David vs. Goliath style contest. The heavyweight doesn't allow for any early chain wrestling. He throws the champion in the corner but Gallagher doesn't allow himself to let up to the power game just yet and uses his speed to avoid much offence in the opening minutes. The Extraordinary Gentleman nearly draws the #1 contender in to a Drop Toe Hold. Damo stops him in his tracks though. He tries to counter with an Elbow Drop. Gallagher rolls out of the way and then drills him with a Seated Dropkick. After Damo's back hits the canvas, his lighter opponent quickly jumps on him three times with double foot stomps. The champ then locks on a Bridging Fujiwara Armbar. It doesn't take the challenger long to power out. The two make it to their feet and Damo nails Gallagher with a stiff Lariat to the chest. He drops the Elbow Drop, follows up with a Running Senton and drags him straight up in to the corner to continue the onslaught. Gallagher falls victim to several overhand chops. The Beast From Belfast then lifts him up for a Powerbomb. Before he can drop him, the Extraordinary Gentleman sends him down with a Headscissors Takedown. He quickly dropkicks Damo through the ropes to the apron and then drills him with a Springboard Clothesline. The challenger topples down to ringside but he's still on his feet. Damo is then finally brought down with a Diving Senton from the ropes on to the reigning champion. Jack Gallagher has a fire under him. He knows that if he falls to Big Damo's power, there is no coming back. The Irish man beast slowly climbs back in but the champ is poised and ready. He climbs up in the corner and Gallagher throws himself forward to execute the Gentleman's Dropkick. Damo doesn't fall the first time so The Extraordinary Gentleman nails another one. He makes the cover. The fans count along however Damo kicks out with authority at two. Jack Gallagher tries to hit the same move again. The champion misses and is in a vulnerable position. The Beast From Belfast quickly recovers. He delivers a Forward Foreman's Carry Slam followed by another Senton. As he approaches to lock on the Cu Chullain's Wrath, Gallagher counters his way in to Achilles Lock. The big, Irish heavyweight falls in to the champion's finishing submission. Nigel McGuinness comments that this could be the first time we have seen Damo show an emotion of any sort of pain. The champ holds on. This route to victory looks to be working. Things take a turn when Damo drags himself to the ropes to break the submission. Jack Gallagher looks gutted. He has thrown everything at his opponent and nothing is putting him away. The champ doesn't give up. He climbs up to the top rope and leaps through the air for a Diving Crossbody. Damo catches him in mid-air. He then hurls him on to the top turnbuckle like a dart before tossing across the ring with a Release German Suplex. Gallagher slumps in the corner and is stomped on repeatedly until the referee gets involved. Damo backs away so Gallagher can get up. Once he is up, he is nailed with a Running Corner Splash which rattles him. Damo decides to kick, stomp and stand on his opponent's arm. He then moves his attention to the neck. The crowd has the life sucked out of them as they watch the challenger hammer elbows in to the shoulder of the champ. As it is transitioned in to Cu Chullain's Wrath, the attacker yells out at his opponent to tap. Gallagher is in a huge amount of pain. His fans will him to hang on and he does. The Extraordinary Gentleman wriggles and struggles as much as he can but there's just no way out. The camera zooms in as he slowly fades. His head slopes. Jack Gallagher has passed out. The referee ends the match. Big Damo is the winner and the new EPW British Undisputed Champion. The hold is released and the champ's head just drops to the canvas. The Beast From Belfast rips his newly won piece of gold from the possession of the referee and hurls it above his head with pride. He took everything Jack Gallagher had, Jack Gallagher took everything he had but Big Damo was the last man standing. The show closes with our new champion standing tall in the ring. |

Nice pairings for the Reloaded card. Solid opener to the main show. Even though it didn’t go there way the grizzled ones shouldn’t hang their heads for the effort here. Wasn’t sure if this would be considered an upset or not, but going into it I wasn’t sure if Strangler Davis would come out on top, but knew it would be a physical contest. He deserved the win. Wondering how Havoc will recover from the loss. Gotta pop the mentioning of Noam Dar being the guys guy to compete in a women’s championship match, breaking the barriers as they say. Didn’t KLR to retain even though she had the numbers advantage. With Nikki and Bea’s involvement that may give KLR a break from having to deal with Viper as they most likely will the next ones Viper targets. Caught by surprise with Mark Haskins’ action following the Ospreay/Conner match. Not familiar with Vicky nor how much of a factor she’s been elsewhere. Have a feeling she might be around for a while. Good to see the return of the Battle for the Briefcase. Matches like that leave the door wide open and can be a huge opportunity for someone who might not get a chance at gold. Didn’t expect Pete Dunne to return this way. I have wondered for a while if there really was a relation between him and CDD. Glad to see the former champion back. Wondering how the near pairing will fare as Pete’s more known for his singles run in EPW. Good luck to them though. Even though I was on the Gallagher bandwaggon as of late, with what went down in the final moments of Live #69 I gotta restore my allegiance to Damian O'Connor. Nothing against Jack Gallagher, he fit his spot well, however you helped me get behind the big man. Got to applaud Gallaghers efforts though, he fought well. Glad to see Damo leave with the gold. |
