Revolution Wrestling Presents
Chapter Three: Top Secret Show
Undisclosed Location in Chicago, IL.
07.13.17

Here we are for Chapter Three of the saga that is Revolution Wrestling in the same grungy basement of some warehouse that we've been since the inception. The rabid crowd of just over a hundred people (short turn out, but that happens to last minute announced shows that happen on a Thursday), surround the ring with the bar being where the most rowdy of them stand. It's standing room only as always here, and Davey Vega pushes his way through the crowd, elbowing and shouldering fans out of his way. He gets a loud "FUCK OFF" chant, as he takes the microphone.

Davey Vega berates the crowd calling them all ungrateful. He says that he didn't have to wrestle tonight for free, but chose to. He runs down the idea of the show, which is labelled Fan Appreciation Night. He calls the idea of fans getting in for free as a joke, and him not getting paid a complete joke. He threatens not to fight tonight which the crowd begs him not to chanting "PLEASE JUST GO" at him. He says it's bullshit that after he agreed to compete tonight, he saw his match against the two biggest fucking guys on the planet. Davey says that it doesn't matter the size of their muscles, because his brains and wit will prove to be better than brawn and power.

Match One:
Triple Threat Match: Davey Vega vs. Rob Rage vs. Brian Cage
20 Minute Time Limit

The two big men meet in the middle of the ring, leaving Davey Vega feeling left out. He shoves them both, and they both shove him with one arm each, sending him flying through the ropes. Davey then slides back into the ring and slaps them both across the faces as Corey Graves says that he's still waiting on Davey Vega to show off his brains and wit that he promised. Rage and Cage then take turns beating the fuck out of Davey Vega, tossing him all over the ring like a rag doll. The two muscle bound freaks treat Vega as a punching until, until Vega collapses causing Cage to accidentally take Rage's head off with a spinning lariat! Rage gets back up as the two big men are nose to nose. They trade forearms in the center of the ring, and take turns trying to take each other down with lariats. It's like two bulls taking turns colliding into one another until the other collapses. However, neither bull does fall down. Cage rocks Rage with a staggering forearm, and bounces off the ropes into a scoop power slam from Rage. Rage covers but only gets a two count. Rage and Cage knock each other down with a double clothesline, but both impressive kip up onto their feet.

Davey Vega springboards off the ropes into both of their arms who slam him through the canvas! Cage and Rage go back to trading blows. Cage plants Rage with a powerbomb into the canvas. But Rage no sells it getting right back to his feet and kicking Cage in the stomach, and planting him into the canvas with a huge powerbomb of his own. Cage pops right back up and both men take each other down with boots to one anothers face. Davey Vega leaps off the top rope with a Frog Splash onto Cage for a long two count. He hits a standing couble stomp/senton splash on Rob Rage for a long two count! Davey Vega superkicks a kneeling Brian Cage in the face, and looks for an Ace Crusher but Cage tosses him up in the air for Rob Rage to catch into a gigantic Sit Out Powerbomb! Brian Cage rolls him up to his feet and murders him with a discus lariat to the outside! Cage then finishes Davey Vega off with the Weapon X for the victory in just over eight minutes!

After the match, Brian Cage celebrates his victory on his way to the back. Excalibur claims that Brian Cage has momentum heading into tomorrow nights big tournament to crown the first Revolution Wrestling champion. Davey Vega is sprawled out motionless on the cavnas, as Rob Rage reaches his feet on the outside and begins throwing chairs all over the place. He trashes the ringside area as referee, PJ Drummond tries calming him down. Rage tosses the poor referee into the ring, and kills Davey Vega with a Dominator. Rage forces the referee to count the three count for him on poor Davey Vega. Rob Rage takes the microphone and declares "Tyrannosaurus Pecks as the winner".

Backstage: Johnny Gargano is preparing for his upcoming match with Matt Riddle later tonight. Gargano says that when he was asked if he wanted to participate in Fan Appreciation Night, he sure. And the reason for that was because he saw Matt Riddle announced. Gargano says he asked for this match personally because he's been away from the Independents for a while now, but every corner he turned he always heard about this guy Matt Riddle. Gargano says that tonight we find out just how good he really is, bro.

Match Two:
Detective Paul Daniels vs. Ricky Gibbons
15 Minute Time Limit

Corey Graves says that this a match between two of Revolution's students in the Training Dojo here. Excalibur adds that the head trainer of the Dojo is Chris Hero, who joins on commentary. He's excited for his two students' first chance here in Revolution Wrestling. He breaks down their styles, calling Gibbons a hybrid style wrestler who hits harder than a lot of people he knows but isn't afraid of the top rope. Paul Daniels isn't as evolved as Gibbon's yet, but he's a sneaky guy who will tell you that he did his 100 sit ups when he's only done 25. The referee asks Daniels if he has anything on him and Daniels calls himself the detective showing his badge and begins searching the referee. He tells the referee to get on his knees and stay turned away. He quickly pokes Gibbon's in the eyes, and bashes him in back of the head with a pair of handcuffs that he quickly disposes of on the outside. He tells the referee that he's clear and covers Gibbons for a two count. Daniels calls his slow counting a crime and tickets the referee for 50 dollars. Graves says that he might be the only one making money tonight!

The match quickly picks up with Daniels running into a back elbow in the corner and Gibbons flying off of the second rope with a diving knee to the face for a two count. Gibbons gets back dropped to the outside, but he lands on his feet on the apron. He looks to suplex Daniels from the inside to the outside on the floor but Daniels blocks it and lands on the apron. The two exchange forearms, but Gibbons blasts him with a boot to the face. He flips into the ring and bounces off the ropes, and Detective Daniels looks for a shoulder block from the apron but gets drilled in the face with a running knee. Gibbons follows up with a Roaring Elbow to the back of the head, and looks for the Heroes Welcome but Daniels counters into a back suplex with a bridge for a long two count. Daniels looks for a brain buster but Gibbons blocks it with a knee to the head, and plants Daniels into the mat face first with the Heroes Welcome for the three count in just under five minutes!

Backstage: Mat Fitchett is backstage with a confident expression. He says that the last time we were here, he lost his chance of becoming the Revolution X Division champion. He said he dejected himself for a week, thinking he blew it, he lost his one chance. But then he remembered something that somebody told him one night almost ten years ago to the day. After a local indy show and he was taking down the ring, he heard Chris Hero himself after a loss that it only takes one win to make yourself. Fitchett says that's why he's back here in Revolution Wrestling, and challenged Chris Hero tonight. Fitchett says that tonight is the night that he gets his one win here in Revolution.

Match Three:
Ethan Page vs. AR Fox

Ethan Page takes a microphone and begins to run down this bingo hall, saying that this place is the ass of America and all the fans here are the pieces of shit. AR Fox can't help but grin at the one in the background. Page calls himself a fucking legend and he when asked if he'd do a free gig, he thought why would I? I do what I do for money, not for the people. But then I thought about it and was like, "Hey, the people of Chicago are fucking morons". Which is why I am selling 8x10's for 25 as opposed to the normal 10. AR Fox interrupts the long speech with a springboard dropkick. Ethan Page rolls out of the ring, as AR hops onto the apron and takes him out with byrunning up the turnbuckle from the apron and leaping off with a moonsault to the floor taking out the standing Ethan Page. Page then picks up Fox and drops him with two atomic drops, and dropkicks him through the ropes and to the floor. Page promises to break AR Fox's ass tonight. He goes to the outside, and slams Fox's face into the ring apron multiple times before telling fans to move out of the way. He makes them for no reason as he just rolls Fox back into the ring.

Ethan Page tries making good on his word of breaking AR Fox's ass by dropping him with a Bubba Bomb for another two count! Page looks for a superkick to AR Fox on the ass, but Fox moves out of the way and dropkicks Page in the face sending him into a corner. Fox holds his booty and tailbone as he runs into the corner looking for a monkey flip but Page plants him onto the mat in a seated position. Excalibur claims that Jeff Cobb may have resentment towards Busick for being in the tournament.

Jeff Cobb continues to toss Busick around like a rag doll, until Cobb gets tired of it and elbows his way out of a Tour of the Islands. He bounces off the ropes and drills Cobb in the side of the face with a mafia kick! Match Six
Revolution X-Division Title Match: Player Dos vs. © Super ACH
[60 Minute Time Limit]

Super ACH of course is only called the champion with nothing to show for it after Trevor Lee and Andrew Everett stole the belt last month after he won it. A light hearted and fun start kicks off ACH's first championship defense. Player Dos said that he was told this is a championship match, but there's no championship. He begins searching for it in the crowd and under the ring. ACH even begins helping, asking people if they saw a hippie surfer and caveman around. Corey Graves calls the slow start smart on both men's parts as they will be part of a huge 6 Man Tag Team Match tomorrow night, on the same side no less.It was all a long ploy as Player Dos quickly rolls up ACH in a schoolboy for a two count. Dos begs for forgiveness, and offers a handshake as a peace treaty. ACH kicks his hand away, denying the request. With tension at a peak the action picks up, with ACH grabbing a side headlock. Dos pushes him into the ropes, and ACH comes back with a shoulder block. Dos kips up, but ACH shoves him back down on the canvas and double stomps him for a two count. He says tonight he kills The Psycho Killer and becomes the Revolution champion on Saturday Night.

Match Seven
Mat Fitchett vs. Chris Hero
[30 Minute Time Limit]

This is Mat Fitchett's biggest test to date as he's impressed in both of his showings in Revolution's previous Chapter's. However, is still looking for his first victory in the company. If this is the one, then it's certainly not going to be an easy one. A lock up begins, and Hero quickly backs the much smaller Fitchett into a corner. Hero goes for a clean break, but changes his mind and releases a chop across Fitchett's chest that echoes throughout the small compact basement. Hero pulls Fitchett into another corner and forearms him, and follows up with a back elbow. Fitchett drops to a knee in the corner, as Hero grabs him in a Cravate and pulls him up to his feet. Hero begins kneeing the defenseless Fitchett in the face as his body begins to go limp. Hero picks him up on his shoulders and slams him onto his back in front of him and follows up with a big senton splash for a two count. Hero picks Fitchett up to his knees, and Fitchett tries fighting back with punches to Hero's mid section but one well placed knee to the jaw puts an end to that. Hero then runs off of the ropes and meets Fitchett with a huge boot to the face, causing Mat Fitchett to topple over in the middle of the ring. Hero makes the cover for the 1...2...KICK OUT!

Hero begins toying with Mat Fitchett, lightly kicking him in the back of the head. Fitchett clenches a fist and fights to his feet. Hero finishes up with an inverted suplex for and makes a tough cover, hooking Fitchett's leg tight for a long two count as Fitchett used everything in him to kick out. Excalibur is going nuts on commentary, not able to believe the guts and resilience of Mat Fitchett tonight. Corey Graves calls Fitchett a man with nothing to lose and everything to gain from this match. Hero begins growing more frustrated at being unable to put Fitchett away for the three yet in the opening ten minutes thus far. Hero looks for a Gotch Piledriver, but Fitchett catches Hero in a roll up as the crowd counts along "1...2...NOOOO"! Hero is quick to his feet and knees a slouched over Fitchett in the face before blasting him in the face with a Roaring Back Elbow! Fitchett falls to the mat, and Hero covers for the 1...2...KICK OUT!!! Hero gets in the referees face even, clearly beginning to lose his cool and almost all the crowd who is solidly behind the underdog.

Hero lifts Fitchett up in a corner and unleashes a flurry of stiff chops, he looks to finish off with a Bicycle Corner Kick but Fitchett ducks it. Hero gets his leg caught up in the corner. Fitchett see's his opening and unloads with forearms and chops on the trapped Chris Hero. Hero boots Fitchett in the chest, and he comes back with an Ace Crusher/Shining Wizard combo. Instead of going for the cover, Mat Fitchett puts all his eggs in one basket as he slowly climbs to the top rope. Everyone in the building hanging on every movement of his. Fitchett leaps off with a picture Shooting Star Press which lands perfectly! Fitchett covers for the 1...2...KICK OUT!!! The crowd is about to riot as Fitchett cannot believe it. Fitchett unloads with kicks and palm strikes to the knees and face of Hero. He looks for a standing hurricanrana but Hero tosses him onto his feet into a sickening Back Elbow! Hero picks up the limp body of Fitchett's and drops him with a Gotch Piledriver! Hero picks Fitchett back up and plants him on his head with a second Gotch Piledriver! Hero covers and is finally able to put Mat Fitchett away in just under twenty minutes!

After the match, Chris Hero gets his arm raised in victory but then quickly leaves, leaving Mat Fitchett to his moment. Hero even starts the crowd along with a "FITCHETT" chant that has the roof threatening to blow off of the building. Mat Fitchett, exhausted, leaning against a referee, holding his neck with one hand and unable to move his other is reminded why he does this. He thanks the crowd for their support and Chris Hero for the ass kicking of a lifetime.

Backstage: Matt Riddle is standing in a well lit hallway, and discusses his match with Johnny Gargano. He says that he's excited for the First Time Ever meeting, saying it's one of the matches he can mark off of his bucket list here in Revolution Wrestling. He reminds everybody that he beat "Mr. Athletic" last month, and is going to beat "Mr. Wrestling" tonight. He then calls out Mr. T, Mr. Anderson (from The Matrix), Mr. Kennedy... Kennedy! It doesn't really matter because this bro (he points at himself with both thumbs) will make them all tap.

Backstage: Mat Fitchett lays on a dirty floor backstage with an ice pack under him like a pillow. Fitchett says that it was everything he thought it would be. He's disappointed that he didn't get the win tonight, but he might've gotten something better tonight. He got the respect of not only the fans but the boys in the back! He slowly pulls himself up to his feet with help of the nearest wall. He promises not to let them down.

[45 Minute Time Limit]

Sami jump starts the match, booting Ciampa off of the apron during his entrance. Sami looks for a dive through the ropes and sends Ciampa and himself flying through the first three rows of seats. Sami smashes a chair over Ciampa's back a couple of times, before tossing the chair at Ciampa's face, but he blocks it by catches the chair and Sami bicycle kicks it into Ciampa's head. Ciampa begins to bleed already, as Corey Graves says that this is two men killing each other for #1 Contendership at a World Championship that we haven't even crowned yet. Sami pulls Ciampa up onto the apron, and looks to kill The Psycho Killer with a powerbomb off the apron to the floor. Ciampa is able to counter it into a Kryptonite Crunch on the apron! The crowd goes wild, chanting "HOLY SHIT"! Ciampa finally brings the action back into the ring, and drops the Death Machine with a Suplex into a knee lift for a two count!

Ciampa looks for the Project Ciampa, but Sami headbutts his way free and side kicks Ciampa's knee out from under him and his a running forearm smash into his face for a two count. Sami chops away at a bloody Ciampa in the corner, and headbutts him down into the mat. Sami then smears Ciampa's blood across his chest like a badge of honor. After the match, Sami Callihan takes the microphone and says whoever wins the tournament tomorrow can expect to be Tommaso Ciampa on Saturday when The Death Machine takes their fucking title!

Match Nine
First Time Ever: Johnny Gargano vs. Matt Riddle
[60 Minute Time Limit]

The crowd is split evenly down the middle on who the favorite is in this First Time Ever meeting. Riddle and Gargano go nose to nose in the ring, as the rabid crowd begins pounding on the canvas at ringside. Riddle gets cocky, telling Gargano to "Come at me, bro", which Gargano does with a slap across the face. The referee backs both men away into their respective corners, as he awaits for the bell to sound. Corey Graves calls this an Indy Dream Match of Epic Proportions. Excalibur says that the crowd is already losing their minds and so is he and the bell hasn't even rung yet.

The bell sounds, and a very methodical opening begins with counters and lock ups. Each man has an answer to what the other throws at them early on. Gargano rolls through a leg lock for a quick two count, and tells Riddle that he was "this close" to pinning him. Another lock up follows, with Riddle more aggressive with this one. He grabs Gargano around the waist, and powers him down, but not letting his grip on Gargano go. Riddle forces Gargano onto his back and shoulders into a bridge for a long two count. Riddle backs away from Gargano, letting him reach his feet but making sure to let Johnny Wrestling know that he was "this close" to beating him. Gargano looks for a kick to the gut, but Riddle catches it and Johnny looks for an enziguri but Riddle ducks it. Riddle looks for an Ankle Lock, but Gargano is quick to pull himself to the ropes before it's even locked on. Gargano goads Riddle into rushing him, and sends him floating through the ropes and to the floor. Gargano gets fired up before hitting a suicide dive through the ropes. He climbs back in and does a second suicide dive through the ropes to the floor onto Riddle. He does it a third and final time before rolling Riddle into the ring and covering him for a two count.

Gargano looks for a superkick on the kneeling Matt Riddle, who catches the leg and grapevines it before grabbing an Ankle Lock! Johnny Wrestling screams in pain, as he tries reaching for the ropes but is too far away. Gargano tries crawling to the ropes, but any progress he makes looks like no progress. He begins kicking Riddle in the head with his free leg until Riddle is forced to break the hold. The speed picks up, which is Riddle's smart decision hoping that Gargano cannot keep up after having the Ankle Lock put on for a significant amount of time. Riddle bounces off the ropes, and ducks through a clothesline attempt and comes back with a leaping kick to the sternum sending Gargano flying back across the ring. Riddle covers for a long two count. Riddle calls for the finish and looks for a German Suplex but Gargano elbows free. Gargano kicks Riddle's knee out from under him and blasts him in the face with a Superkick! Gargano covers as he clutches his bummed leg, and Riddle kicks out at two. Gargano looks for his Lawndart Throw into a corner, but his bummed leg buckles and Riddle takes advantage with a German Suplex with a bridge for a long two count!

Matt Riddle waits for Gargano to pull himself up and looks for a running knee attack but Gargano collapses back to the canvas holding his knee. The act of a miracle sends Matt Riddle floating over the top rope in the corner and tumbling to the hard floor on the outside. Gargano rolls under the ropes onto the apron and hits a PK Kick to Riddle's face! Gargano leaps off the apron, catches Riddle with a Tornado DDT smashing him face first into the ring apron. Gargano pulls himself up and limps over to the out cold Matt Riddle and rolls him into the ring. Gargano crawls to him and covers for a long two count. Immediately, Johnny Gargano locks The King of Bros into the GargaNO Escape, as Matt Riddle is in shock that he left himself open for this and struggles to the ropes, but is too far to reach them. Gargano tries wrenching back further with the hold, but his injured leg won't allow it. This leads to Matt Riddle being able to reach the ropes. Johnny looks for the Hurts Donut, but Riddle spins out of it and kicks Gargano's injured right leg out from under him and blasts him with a knee to the side of the head. Riddle covers, but Gargano is able to kick out at two!

Gargano pulls himself up in the ropes, as Riddle runs into a boot but Riddle catches it. Riddle corkscrews the leg of Gargano's. Johnny rolls around the ring clutching his knee, as Riddle locks in the Ankle Lock again! This time in the standing position. - The opening match was great fun. Good to see Rob Rage in a different setting. I think he did well. Brian Cage continues to look dominant too.

- Was hoping Ethan Page was gonna get beat after that pre-match promo but he looked great in victory by the end of the match.

- Good showing by the women once again. Not too familiar with Heidi Lovelace. Kimber Lee always delivers the goods though from what I have seen of her.

- Super ACH proved once again why he is the best in the X Division right now in Revolution Wrestling. Looking forward to seeing who is next in contention.

- Matt Fitchett hung with Chris Hero despite losing. It was a hell of a match which I thought was going to go the distance mid-read.

- I am becoming a fan of Sami Callihan as of late so was happy to see him pick up the victory. I think he could be a good fit as your first champion.

- Matt Riddle looked phenomenal throughout in the main event. I was pulling for him too. Gargano is good but The King of Bros is in my top five outside of the UK.
