Revolution Wrestling Presents
Chapter Four: Simply the Best Weekend (Stage One)
Undisclosed Location in Chicago, IL.
07.14.17

On the second of three nights a much larger crowd than the previous nights has gathered around in the compact, almost claustrophpobic atmosphere in the run down basement that has become home of the Revolution of professional wrestling. No time is wasted as XCW Superstar, Rob Rage shoves his way through the shoulder to shoulder crowd of drunks that are spilling their full beers. Rob Rage cuts off the lovely, Melissa Santos as she was in the middle of welcoming the crowd. Rob Rage says that he came from the great white North to perform in front of these small biceped losers in the audience? Rage runs down the list of reasons that Canada is better than America which includes the free health care, the better gyms, the hotter women, and the lack of obesity.

Davey Vega comes down and cuts off Tyrannosaurus Flex, with a microphone already in hand. He says that Rob Rage is wrong. The reason that America sucks is right here in this very run down bingo hall. Davey points to all of the "fatties" in the crowd. Suddenly, a siren goes off as Detective Paul Daniels pushes his way through the crowd showing his badges, and ordering for a clear path. Paul Daniels says that Davey Vega is under arrest for slander towards these disgusting pigs in the crowd. He agrees with Vega but says he can't go around actually saying that shit. Daniels handcuffs Vega his hands behind his back against his will.

Daniels then notices Rob Rage, holding the XCW Money in the Bank briefcase. Daniels demands to get a peak inside, but Rage shakes his head in fury, holding the briefcase close to his chest. Daniels tells the referee that he has it under good suspicion that Rage is holding illegal drugs in the briefcase. Rage says that Daniels doesn't have a warrant, but before he could finish the Detective presents one which causes Rage to throw a fit. Paul Daniels and the referee check the briefcase, and pull out the contract, but also find a needle and a bottle of steroids. The crowd chants "JUICE" at Rob Rage who shouts that it's for a friend, he's all natural.

- I wasn't expecting Rob Rage to pick up the win in the opening contest however it was a nice surprise. I have been a big fan of him in XCW.

- Was surprised the Rollins/Busick match even went so long. Don't think there was any doubt that Seth was picking up the win though.

- Admit I was pulling for Matt Riddle. Don't mind so much though. I like Adam Cole so it softens the blow of having to see The King of Bros lose.

- Very happy Jeff Cobb beat Roderick Strong. Massive fan of Cobb. Not that Strong is awful however he is just very bland imo.

- Fenix and Pentagon Jr. looked strong against Trevor Lee and Andrew Everett. Good to see them get the love from the Revolution faithful too.

- The Elite were an interesting choice to win the six-man tag given Kenny Omega is an XCW contracted star. Fantastic high-octane bout.

- Main event was your best match yet without a doubt. Correct choice for the winner too imo. Rollins/Callihan has maaajor potential too.

Joe, I totally agree with your assessment of Roderick Strong being bland. I always loved his work in the ring, but couldn't really care much about him as a character. But in NXT they are killing it with him. He's one of the best faces in the company.
