RELOADED MATCH #1: Jinny Couture defeated Dahlia Black via pinfall with a Sit-Out Facebuster from the top rope by English Pro Wrestling's resident fashionista to bring the score up to 2-1 in her favour in their ongoing Best Of Five Series. The 4th match will take place next week. Another victory would see Jinny become next in line for a shot at the EPW British Women's Championship.

RELOADED MATCH #2: Kid Lykos defeated James Drake via pinfall with an Acid Drop and the Frog Splash. The competitor's respective tag team partners were not present at ringside as they were warming up for the Battle For The Briefcase later on. As The Dirty Wolf celebrated his victory, Muscle, Steel & Sex Appeal interrupted and laid him out with the Terminal Velocity.

RELOADED MATCH #3: The Demonic Sisterhood defeated The Dark Horses (Laura Di Matteo & Xia Brookside) via pinfall with the Silent Nightmare. The winners tried to put the boots to their opponents once the bout had ended. The Italian Underdog and The Wildcat fought back and sent the heels packing to close the show on a happier note.

EPW Live #75: Ascension

Once Reloaded is all wrapped up, this week's two-hour special of Live begins with a video recap of all the ongoing feuds to the sound of Avelino - Energy. Tonight's main event will feature EPW British Tag Team Champions Moustache Mountain defending the gold against The Dunne Brothers in a Ladder Match. We will also see the Battle For The Briefcase Ladder Match, Strangler Davis defending the EPW British Hardcore Championship against Sabu, Will Ospreay vs. Mark Haskins, Session Moth Martina challenging for Kay Lee Ray's EPW British Women's Championship and Big Damo puts the EPW British Undisputed Championship on the line for the first time against former champion Jack Gallagher. Martin Stone is also in attendance and has promised to clear up any speculation about the future of his career in English Pro Wrestling. We are live from the sold-out Genting Arena in Birmingham. Mauro Ranallo and Nigel McGuinness are on hand to call the action and Jim Smallman is standing by in the ring to welcome the competitors to the ring for the opening contest. He is suddenly interrupted by the sound of 'Toreador'. Jack Gallagher stomps down the aisle looking like he means business. The Extraordinary Gentleman is already in his wrestling attire and retrieves a microphone on his way in to the ring. He makes it known that he doesn't intend on waiting around for his match. The #1 contender demands the champion to get out here right now. It looks like one of our main events is going on first as a referee jogs down to the ring before the entrance of Big Damo.

EPW British Undisputed Championship
Big Damo © vs. Jack Gallagher

The Beast From Belfast reaches the ringside area and is greeted by a Baseball Slide from his arch-enemy. As he staggers back, The Extraordinary Gentleman follows up with a Tope Suicida through the ropes. Damo flies back in to the barricade as the 15,000 fans go nuts. The champ recovers. A chase back in to the ring begins with Gallagher getting the better of the big man once again with a Running Low Dropkick as soon as they get back in to the squared circle. Damo topples down to one knee and is blasted with a Running European Uppercut to the jaw. The 300lbs+ monster is down. The challenger takes no hesitation in making his way up to the top rope. He flies through the air with a Swandive Headbutt in mind. Just as he reaches his opponent, the champion moves and finds his feet. This leaves Gallagher in a vulnerable position. He is dropped almost immediately with a Forward Fireman's Carry Slam followed up by a Running Senton. Mauro Ranallo calls it the Belfast Blitz. The Irish hooligan has turned the tables in a big way and starts repeatedly throwing forearms on to the exposed shoulder of his opponent. He then ruthlessly kicks Gallagher right in the spine to send a shiver down the spine of everyone watching. The match is now firmly in the hands of the champ. Up next is a Turnbuckle Powerbomb, an Elbow Drop and a Corner Slingshot Splash which is not enough to put down the #1 contender. Gallagher starts bravely throwing punches but is missing each time. Eventually Damo just grabs his fist, lifts him up and then goes to slam him to the mat. On the way down, his opponent manages to roll him up in to a Small Package. The big man kicks out just before two though. He tries to blast Gallagher with a Big Boot but the underdog ducks. On the rebound, the babyface lands a Running Dropkick. Damo staggers back in to the turnbuckles. The technician from Greater Manchester sees an opportunity. He charges forward to execute the Gentleman's Dropkick however the official is pulled in between the two wrestlers at the point of execution to take the brunt of the manoeuvrer. The referee topples down to the canvas. Gallagher looks down as Damo blasts him with a desperation Lifting Inverted DDT. The fans are shocked to see the champion resort to such measures. He stands over his fallen challenger to assert his dominance as boos echo around the arena. Suddenly, Martin Stone passes through the curtain and sprints down the aisle. He trades blows with the champion once he reaches the ring before ducking a Clothesline and responding with a Running Neckbreaker. The Guvnor has a score to settle after Damo put him through a table last week to cost him a shot at the title. He quickly retrieves the belt from ringside and slides back in to the ring to cave the champion's head with it. The former multi-time champ swings. Damo ducks. Gallagher is now standing and is accidentally sent back down to the canvas by a belt shot from Stone. As The Guvnor looks down in shock, he is launched out to ringside by the reigning champion who then kicks the belt aside before covering Jack Gallagher. The official slowly crawls over. He begins to count whilst the boos get louder and louder. The three is made. Big Damo wins the bout in controversial fashion to retain the EPW British Undisputed Championship. The Beast From Belfast picks up his belt from the mat. The big man tosses it over his shoulder, eventually has his arm raised and then leaves the ring. Martin Stone is down at ringside with his head in his hands. He came out here with the intention of getting revenge on the champion and ended up accidentally helping him on his way to victory. In the mean time, Jack Gallagher is rolled out to ringside by a couple of referees and helped to the backstage area.

The Dunne Brothers are shown entering the ring surrounded by a fleet of security provided by English Pro Wrestling. We are informed by the commentary team that the security was provided by William Regal to stop the challengers from stepping out of line ahead of their tag team ladder match. Speaking of that match, we head over to RJ Singh who is standing by with Trent Seven and Tyler Bate. The EPW British Tag Team Champions are asked about how their history with Pete Dunne with factor in the main event. They admit that they were manipulated by The Bruiserweight for a long, long time. He promised them a big money contract in North America as long as they helped him lay waste to English Pro Wrestling which they regrettably went through with. Once it all went wrong at EPW Live #50, it became apparent that the master plan was all orchestrated to just allow Dunne himself to use everyone as a stepping stone himself. Luckily for them, they saw the light and William Regal gave them a second chance. Their former ally however proved that he hasn't changed his colours with the way he made his return. The champions don't believe that Pete Dunne actually wants to wear this EPW British Tag Team Championship with pride for the better of the tag team division. They predict that he wants the belt to shortcut his way back in to English Pro Wrestling after failing to score a contract abroad. Trent and Tyler aren't going to allow that to happen and intend on handing out some long-awaited revenge on The Bruiserweight.

EPW British Hardcore Championship
Strangler Davis © vs. Sabu

The Homicidal, Suicidal, Genocidal, Death-Defying Maniac makes his way down to the ring with a steel chair in hand. As he reaches ringside, he pulls out a table from under the ring and slides it in. The reigning champion is greeted with jeers from the Birmingham crowd. He enters the ring and shows no fear as he throws his bull rope towards the challenger. Sabu responds by launching a steel chair at the London based brawl. Strangler Davis swerves it though and picks the weapon up. The bell is rung. The champ swings the chair his opponent's way however The Human Highlight Reel ducks. He runs the ropes, jumps up for a Dropkick and sends the steel in to the face of his rival. Sabu then mounts Davis to deliver some stiff, right-handed closed fist to the skull. He then locks on the Arabian Clutch and pulls back on the neck. As Strangler tries to escape, the extreme icon rakes the eyes. He then steps back and picks up the chair once again. The challenger then throws it straight at the head of the champ who falls straight to the canvas and rolls to ringside. Sabu tries to follow up with a Somersault Plancha. As he lands on the champ, he is caught and then thrown in to the barricade with reckless abandon. The tables have been turned. Strangler follows up with a Running High Knee and lifts him for a Suplex before dropping him gut first on to the barricade. The match continues with the momentum in the favour of the champ. Davis delivers a Running Corner Clothesline, a Bulldog and a Sidewalk Slam for a two count. He then folds out the steel chair to drop Sabu on to it with another Sidewalk Slam. This time for a near fall. The self-proclaimed lord of hardcore looks to apply his finishing submission; the Stranglehold. As he locks it on, Sabu throws several elbows to battle back. He tries to springboard off the ropes but is blasted with a Big Boot to stop the comeback with a grinding halt. Davis pulls off a Vertical Suplex Powerslam for yet another near fall. After the kick out, Strangler bites the forehead of the extreme icon to draw some blood. He then disrespectfully spits down on the fallen body of his opponent and lifts him up to apply the Stranglehold again. Sabu refuses to quit. The Homicidal, Genocidal, Suicidal, Death-Defying Maniac does his own biting as he gnaws in to the arm of the reigning champion. Strangler releases the hold. The two men find their feet and Davis is drilled with the Air Sabu in the corner. The hardcore legend isn't done yet though. He rolls out to ringside. The crowd in Birmingham go nuts when he reveals a metal spike from under the ring. He slides back in and wastes no time in carving the forehead of the champ. Blood pours down the head of Strangler Davis as he reaches for a way out. He can't find it. Sabu releases him after a moment to set up a table. The fading champ is placed on to it. The challenger points one finger up in the air which sends the fans crazy. The title can't be far from the American import. He runs the ropes, leaps through the air and attempts the Triple Jump Moonsault through the table. Strangler moves. Sabu crashes through the wood. After Davis wipes the blood from his brow, he moves the pieces of the broken table to one side. The champ then locks on the Stranglehold. Sabu raises his arms but then fades slowly. The referee eventually throws this one out as it becomes clear the challenger is unconscious. Strangler Davis retains via referee stoppage. Once he is passed his EPW British Hardcore Championship, he drops to the canvas and rolls to ringside. He crawls to the back with a grin on his face. Blood trickles down his face whilst medics rush past him to check on Sabu in the ring. The self-proclaimed lord of hardcore continues his reign on top of English Pro Wrestling's hardcore division.

The lights dim whilst staff clear the ring. An unfamiliar theme song plays but the crowd react when the name 'JOE HENDRY' flashes up on the video screen above the entrance set. The Prestigious One is known to many as one of the hottest free agents in the United Kingdom right now. There were reports that he had signed for the company however nothing had been confirmed. It appears that the arrogant Scot has indeed signed on the dotted line. He has a microphone in hand as he steps up on to the apron. Hendry does not step in to the ring though. He informs us that The Prestigious One has arrived which gets a mixed reaction from the Birmingham crowd. The freestyle wrestling standout introduces himself to those that don't know who he is as the finest pure wrestler in Britain right now. The cocky Edinburgh native declares that it's only a matter of time before he begins to dominant the competition in an EPW ring however unfortunately for the EPW fans, he will not be able to actively compete for the foreseeable future due to an injury to his arm. He then pulls up the sleeve of his blazer to reveal a cast over his forearm. The newcomer announces that William Regal couldn't afford for his 'newest hot commodity' to be on the sidelines doing nothing and he will be joining the broadcast team whilst he heals. Finally, he warns the locker room that he will be watching them from ringside very closely and he will become champion when the time comes. The fans in attendance are not impressed by the inflated ego of the newest superstar on the roster. Meanwhile, Joe Hendry steps down and joins Mauro Ranallo and Nigel McGuinness behind the announce desk.

Will Ospreay vs. Mark Haskins (with Vicky Haskins)
The newest power couple in English Pro Wrestling have targeted The Aerial Assassin over the past month with The Hellbent Anti-Hero showing a real change in behaviour since his wife emerged as his full-time valet. Mark Haskins takes his time making his way down the aisle with his mysterious spouse in tow. The fans are not happy to see him. Mauro Ranallo and Nigel McGuinness question his sudden shift in attitude. Joe Hendry claims that Haskins is clearly fed up of being overlooked and he believes his actions are justified. The Prestigious One has clearly joined the announce team to add a heel dynamic after such a statement. Will Ospreay has the crowd behind him as he enters and rallies them up when he takes to the top rope. The former friends turned bitter rivals meet in the middle of the ring for a face-to-face. They get off to a slow start as both men look to prove who is the better wrestler. Haskins' desperation is evident which Ospreay takes advantage of. He catches him with an Octopus Stretch on the rebound. His arch-enemy breaks it by sandwiching him in between himself and the turnbuckles. The aggressor then catches him with a Leg Lariat to the Essex born high-flyer. He then repeatedly stomps down on Ospreay in the corner. The next minute is just Haskins beating down on his opponent. Haskins lifts him for a Vertical Suplex however it is countered in to a Stunner. The Aerial Assassin then drops him with a clothesline, a dropkick and a forearm before stepping out on to the apron for the Springboard Forearm Smash. The Hellbent Anti-Hero tries to stop him in his tracks. He is sent packing with a Roundhouse Kick and then drills him with the Springboard Forearm Smash that he intended on executing before. Ospreay tries to follow up with his trademark Superkick; the Silent Whisper. Haskins catches the boot, drops him down and tries to lock on the Low Sharpshooter. His opponent manages to leverage his way out of the move. He kicks his rival away and then pulls off the Essex Destroyer for a two count. The fans clap as Ospreay begins to climb the turnbuckles. The risk-taker has the 630 Senton in mind. As he gets to the top, Haskins has recovered and shakes the rope to send his opponent falling down right on to his crown jewels. The heel then capitalises by delivering a Superplex. He then drags him to the middle of the ring to stomp down on the knee before locking on a Stretch Muffler. The submission seems effective. Ospreay scrambles for a way out. He eventually does so with a Hurricanrana. Haskins' face hits the mat hard. The babyface then quickly responds with a 720 Kick to the back of the head his grounded opponent. He scores another near fall. The Aerial Assassin beats the mat in frustration that he didn't score the three. He runs the ropes with the Oscutter in mind but is caught by The Hellbent Anti-Hero on the way back down and drilled with the Pumphandle Half Nelson Driver. The leg is hooked. The referee counts. Ospreay kicks out just before two. As the high-flyer finds his feet, Haskins hammers him with stiff shoot kicks to the chest. He then grabs the fan favourite around the throat before setting him up for another Pumphandle Half Nelson Driver. As he lifts him, Ospreay escapes and then pushes Haskins in to the turnbuckles. He then follows up with the Oscutter out of nowhere. The Aerial Assassin rolls over for a cover. The referee counts the fall. On two, Haskins places his foot on the rope but the official doesn't see it and counts to three anyway. Will Ospreay picks up the victory. The referee raises the winner's arm without the knowledge of the broken fall. Vicky Haskins soon enters the ring and is not happy with the result. Ospreay takes to the ropes to celebrate before leaving the ring for the back. He thinks this issue has been put to bed however Mark Haskins is now up and is arguing with referee Steve Lynskey. The official refuses to listen. He leaves the ring and The Hellbent Anti-Hero is furious.

RJ Singh is standing by backstage for an interview. He is joined by The Dunne Brothers who will challenge Moustache Mountain for the EPW British Tag Team Championship in a Ladder Match. Chief Deputy Dunne tries to talk but is cut off by his more accomplished brother. The former champion saw what his former associates Trent Seven and Tyler Bate said about him earlier on and they were completely right; he did manipulate them for his own gain. He goes on to blame them and their shortcomings for the failure of their plan to use English Pro Wrestling as a stepping stone to a more lucrative career abroad. The Bruiserweight mocks them for coming back here with their tail between their legs to beg William Regal for their jobs back. Pete claims you wouldn't see him sucking up to anyone to get what he wants in a million years. He is back to take what he wants. Dunne is back to retrieve what is rightfully his and if winning the EPW British Tag Team Championships is his way back in then so be it. Moustache Mountain have proven that they are inferior to him in the past. The Bruiserweight guarantees that the same will happen in the main event. As Pete walks away alone, Chief Deputy Dunne takes the microphone from RJ Singh and begins to proclaim that he promises to win his first piece of gold since arriving in EPW too. As he continues to talk, he is yelled at by his brother to shut up and follow him. The self-proclaimed leader of The Anti-Fun Police does so. It is clear who the leader of this duo is.

EPW British Women's Championship
Kay Lee Ray © (with Noam Dar) vs. Session Moth Martina

The challenger had an impressive string of victories up until she was screwed out of her match with Nixon Newell on last week's episode of Live by the reigning champion. Her entrance tonight is a spectacle with the lights going down and the fans in attendance being given glow sticks to wave in the air whilst Session Moth Martina makes her way down to the ring with a can of beer in hand and a cigarette in her mouth. Kay Lee Ray enters alongside Noam Dar who has been helping the champ cheat her way to victory since they joined forces a couple of months ago. The Scottish Supernova looks absolutely repulsed by Martina. The Queen of Sesh Style manages to get hold of him before the bell and lay a huge kiss on him which pops the crowd. KLR uses this to her advantage to jump her opponent to kick off the match. She then chokes Martina in the corner with her foot before following up with the Poetry in Motion for a one count. Way too early to even be thinking about finishing this one. The champ hammers down on her challenger with several punches to the head. Kay Lee Ray then drags her up to apply a Full Nelson. After rag dolling her for a while, she tries to lift her for a slam however Martina lands on her feet and floors the champ with a clothesline. The crowd cheer as she pulls off a Running Bulldog but are shocked to spring off the ropes with a Split-Legged Moonsault for a near fall. The Queen of Sesh Style almost became champion right there. Meanwhile, Joe Hendry is repulsed by Session Moth Martina, branding her a disgusting chav. McGuinness argues that she is a hell of a fighter and has proven multiple times that she deserves to be in contention in the women's division. As the match rolls on, the babyface nails a Running Crossbody and then charges forward for a Bronco Buster. Noam Dar pulls his girlfriend to safety. The referee spotted it though. Chris Roberts isn't going to allow this and sends The Scottish Supernova to the back. He tries to argue the decision but two more referees come down from the back to escort him. Kay Lee Ray is forced to go it alone. When she gets back in, she is launched in to the corner and falls victim to a Stinkface. Martina then runs the ropes and goes to execute her finisher; the Satellite DDT. The champ shoves her forward at the last moment though and then knocks her silly with a Buzzsaw Kick. She then nails a Snap DDT for a near fall of her own. KLR attempts a Front Facelock Stunner. At the point of execution, she is pushed forward in to the turnbuckles. She then catches Martina with a back kick and delivers the Gory Bomb. The champ climbs to the top rope. She dives through the air and lands the Swanton Bomb for a three count. Kay Lee Ray retains the EPW British Women's Champion once again to assert her dominance at the top of the women's division. As her arm is raised in victory, she can't help but hurl back some insults back at fans in the front row. Session Moth Martina struggles to her feet after a great effort. No one really saw her as a true contender a couple of months ago but she has done herself proud. The fans give her a round of applause on her way back.

Martin Stone makes his way down to the ring with his head down. A replay is shown of him accidentally costing Jack Gallagher his shot at the title earlier on in his match against Big Damo. The Guvnor demands a microphone and begins by apologising to the man he cost the title. He hopes Gallagher can see that he didn't mean to strike him with the belt. The Guvnor doesn't think he can get a lot right nowadays. The multi-time champion admits his confidence is at an all-time low. Stone then thinks it's time he did everyone a favour and just retired. The fans in Birmingham do not approve. He is seen as a legend in the United Kingdom and nobody wants to see him hang up the boots. After The Guvnor says goodbye, he slowly places the microphone down in the middle of the ring. The music of Big Damo plays. The EPW British Undisputed Champion walks out with a microphone in hand and his gold over his shoulder. The Beast From Belfast claims that Stone isn't retiring due to a 'lack of confidence'. He thinks he is just running scared of the most dominant champion in the history of EPW. As Damo joins The Guvnor in the ring, the champ continues to run down his colleague by calling him a broken down, worn out has-been with nothing left. The 300lbs+ monster is sure there is a retirement home with a rocking chair with Martin Stone's name over it. Damo starts shoving the champion. He continues to do so until The Guvnor is pushed right in to the ropes. Out of nowhere, Stone responds with a Running Spear to floor the champion. He reigns down with lefts and rights. The Beast From Belfast shoves him away but his rival then spears him again, this time in to the corner. Security pours down to separate the two. Several manage to pull the champion out to ringside. Martin Stone picks up a microphone. He yells out that if he is leaving EPW, he wants to take a piece of Big Damo with him which gets a huge cheer from the crowd. The champ tries to get back to the ring but is dragged away by a fleet of security. It doesn't look like The Guvnor is going anywhere until he gets a match with the champion.

Battle For The Briefcase Ladder Match
Marty Scurll vs. Jimmy Havoc vs. Joseph Conners vs. Zack Gibson vs. Travis Banks vs. Chris Brookes

As we all know, the man that retrieves the briefcase first will be rewarded with a shot at the EPW British Undisputed Championship whenever they see fit to cash it in. Zack Gibson is the first to enter and he has a microphone in hand which sets the crowd off in to a tirade of boos. He reminds them that as well as being Liverpool's Number One, he is soon to be recognised as English Pro Wrestling's number one after he climbs to the ladder, retrieves the briefcase and cashes in his title shot to become champion. 'Human Fly' by The Cramps plays before the loudmouth Scouser can continue his rant. Chris Brookes makes his way out looking focused at the task ahead. After he is done, Travis Banks stomps down the aisle with his eye on the prize hanging above the ring. The Kiwi Buzzsaw had to bitterly defeat his tag team partner to qualify for this opportunity however he and TK Cooper have patched up their differences since. Joseph Conners is greeted with jeers on his way down to the squared circle. The Righteous Killer arrived with mixed results two months ago but managed to book a spot in this bout by beating El Ligero a couple of weeks back. The mood changes when Jimmy Havoc passes through the curtain to the sound of AFI's 'I Hope You Suffer'. A convincing win over BT Gunn saw the former EPW British Hardcore Champion to gain another chance at a guaranteed championship match and shows no fear by eyeing each of his opponents when he reaches the ring. Marty Scurll is last out. The Villain is easily the most decorated entrant in the match but was the victim of last year's cash in by Pete Dunne. This year the former champion hopes to turn the tables. The bell rings and all six men collide in the middle of the ring. Punches and kicks fly all over the place. Travis Banks ducks a clothesline by Joseph Conners, runs the ropes and blasts him with a Running Dropkick sending his opponent to the outside. The Kiwi Buzzsaw then follows up with a Moonsault Plancha over the ropes. This proves to be the first of many high-risk moves in this one. Chris Brookes of The C.C.K quickly wipes both of them out with a Tope Suicida through the middle and top rope. The trio slowly find their feet but are taken straight back down with a Suicide Dive by Marty Scurll. Just as you think the succession of dives is over, Jimmy Havoc finishes it off with a Cannonball Senton to the outside on top of all four men. This leaves Zack Gibson in the ring alone. Liverpool's Number One looks down and teases a dive. Instead, he quickly grabs a ladder from ringside to attempt to retrieve the victory. Gibson's climb is unsuccessful when all five other men in the match rush in to cut him off. A brawl breaks out in the ring once again. Conners takes it to Banks in the corner. Scurll and Brookes fight it out amongst themselves. Havoc kicks off the hardcore action when he snatches the ladder to blast Gibson with. After the cocky Liverpudlian drops to the canvas, The King of the Goths continues his assault with the ladder on the other four men in the match. He then leans it against the turnbuckles and irish whips Joseph Conners in to the steel. The hardcore specialist then wedges the ladder between the middle and top turnbuckle to launch both The Righteous Killer and The Kiwi Buzzsaw head first in to the corner. In the mean time, The Villain drops Chris Brookes on to his knee with a Brainbuster. He then turns his attention to Jimmy Havoc and blasts him with the Just Kidding Superkick. When he starts climbing the ladder to victory, Joseph Conners climbs the opposite side. They meet at the top and start exchanging right hands. Marty Scurll blocks one of his adversary's punches before snapping his fingers. Unbeknownst to them, Travis Banks and Chris Brookes have recovered and pull them off the ladder with in-synch Powerbombs. Jimmy Havoc has rolled out of the ring to recover. When he gets up he sets up several tables out at ringside. The commentary team speculate what the crazed maniac has in mind. Travis Banks attempts to execute the Spinning Torture Rack Slam on Chris Brookes however Brookes lands on his feet and throws Banks in to the turnbuckles. He follows up by nailing him with the Yakuza Kick in the corner. Zack Gibson is now up. He drops The Best Boy on the deck with the Helter Skelter Brainbuster before throwing him face first in to the ladder and sending him over the ropes with a Clothesline. Liverpool's Number One slowly climbs one runs of the ladder at a time. This allows Marty Scurll time to catch him up. Both men exchange punches until they both land a headbutt which sends them dizzy. As they both struggle for the briefcase, Jimmy Havoc slides in and pushes the ladder. It topples with both men going with it. Marty Scurll and Zack Gibson fall through the stack of tables below at ringside which pops the crowd. Both lay motionless at ringside rendering them temporarily out of action. The King of the Goths now has a free path to the top or so he thinks. As he climbs half way up, Joseph Conners hammers him in the spine with a steel chair he grabbed from ringside. The Righteous Killer is now sporting a devilish grin as he hammers Havoc repeatedly on the canvas. The death match warrior from Dartford slowly rolls to safety at ringside where he holds his back in agony. Once Conners turns, he is greeted with a couple of punches from Chris Brookes. He still has possession of the chair though and wraps it around the head of Brookes. The cocky all-rounder takes the opportunity to climb the ladder towards the briefcase. Before reaching the top, he is hammered with the same steel chair he dealt out so much pain with. The man who hit him is Travis Banks. The Kiwi Buzzsaw catches The Righteous Killer as he falls and transitions it straight in to his finisher; the Spinning Torture Rack Slam. The fans get behind Banks as he rushes up the ladder. The New Zealand native is not opposed by any competition. Everyone is down. He grabs the briefcase to win this high-octane contest. Travis Banks has also secured himself a shot at the EPW British Undisputed Championship. As medics come down to ringside to check on his opponents, the victor's long-time friends TK Cooper and Dahlia Black join him in the ring. Banks is given a big hug from his South Pacific Power Trip partners. Cooper and Black both raise his arms in victory whilst the crowd chant the name of Travis Banks. With some tough competition, an unlikely new star has emerged in the form of The Kiwi Buzzsaw.

RJ Singh is standing by for his final interview of the night before our main event. He is joined by both Joe Coffey and Wolfgang who appear to be back on the same page after the split of The Tartan Rebellion. The two Scottish heavyweights are asked why they have requested this air time. The Regulator is the first to pipe up by explaining that their venture in to singles competition since the split of the Chris Renfrew led faction has produced mixed results. They have fought a lot of the roster as individuals sometimes winning and occasionally losing. It has become apparent to them that they were stronger as a unit than going it alone therefore declares them back together to claim what is rightfully theirs. He turns to Joe Coffey who puts every single tag team in the locker room on notice. The Iron Man continues by revealing their intentions on ploughing through all of them and taking their place at the very top of the tag team division as EPW British Tag Team Champions. Finally, he tells both teams in the main event that they can be sure that The Glaswegian Assembly will be watching closely. Both men stare down the camera as we head back to ringside.

EPW British Tag Team Championships
Moustache Mountain © vs. The Dunne Brothers

New ladders have been placed around the ring and the broken tables and steel chair have been taken to the back from the previous contest. The commentary team tell us that we should expect more of the same from the main event. Mauro Ranallo struggles to pick a winner. Nigel McGuinness thinks the champions look more united so will retain however Joe Hendry believes that when Pete Dunne sets his mind to something, he always delivers so predicts that the gold will change hands. The Dunne Brothers make their way down to the ring first. Pete stomps down as his brother follows from a few yards behind. The longest reigning EPW British National Champion of all time looks more intense than ever which is saying something. He paces around the ring once he gets there as his brother takes to the top rope to taunt the Birmingham crowd. Moustache Mountain walk out on to the stage looking less jolly than usual. They high five fans in the front row on their way down the aisle however their eyes are fixated on the #1 contenders. The match kicks off in quick fashion as The Bruiserweight orders his brother to follow him. The heels meet the babyface at ringside and a fight breaks out. The teams brawl around ringside with several punches thrown. Trent Seven is taking it to Chief Deputy Dunne whilst Pete launches Tyler Bate in to the barricade with a nasty German Suplex. The Iron Master lands on the floor below with a thud. The Bruiserweight quickly rushes round to the other side of the ringside area to clock Seven from behind with a Running Forearm. The Dunne Brothers then lay in to him with stomps before rolling him in to the ring. As Pete directs traffic, his brother clocks The Bombardier of Battery with a Superkick allowing the former champ to follow up with a Rolling Release Suplex transitioned in to a Sit-Out Powerbomb. In the meantime, the self-proclaimed leader of The Anti-Fun Police has pulled a ladder in from ringside. Pete rolls Seven on to the steel whilst Chief Deputy Dunne takes to the top rope and then nails a Diving Splash on to his opponent. As Tyler Bate finally struggles back in to the ring, he is overwhelmed by a flurry of stomps. They then deliver a Double Suplex on top of his tag team partner. Chief Deputy Dunne takes to the ropes for another Diving Splash but this time on both men. He jumps. Moustache Mountain roll out of the way. The loud-moth Brummie falls stomach first on to the ladder. The champions find their feet before throwing Chief Deputy Dunne out to ringside. This leaves the former trio of British Strong Style in the ring together. The Bruiserweight begins to try and barter with his former associates to let him climb the ladder, retrieve the belts so he can get his guaranteed contract and promises to hand them back the titles once he gets his place back on the roster. The fans break out in to boos as Trent and Tyler nod their heads with smiles on their faces. They throw their thumbs up to confirm that this was the master plan all along. Pete climbs the ladder. As he almost reaches the top, Moustache Mountain point their thumbs down and push the ladder. The Bruiserweight lands neck first on the top rope. The champions take out their frustrations on their former leader and manipulator in the ring for a while. Tyler Bate hooks the arms for the Tyler Driver '97. Meanwhile, Chief Deputy Dunne rushes back in to the ring. He scores a Low Blow on Trent Seven before grabbing Tyler by his hair and nailing him with a Lungblower. Pete then floors Trent with a Fireman's Carry in to a European Uppercut. He instructs his brother to keep the champions down whilst he climbs the ladder. The Bruiserweight climbs. The self-proclaimed leader of The Anti-Fun Police keeps stomping on their opponents in the meantime. Tyler Bate eventually catches one of the kicks and throws Chief Deputy Dunne in to the ladder to topple it over once again. Chief Deputy tries to pull it back with a Superkick but accidentally drops his brother with a Superkick when Bate swerves the move. Moustache Mountain take it to him when Pete drops to ringside. They then execute the Assisted Spike Piledriver with a view of climbing the ladder again. Before they can, their other opponent slides back in with another ladder. He blasts both of them with it and places it between on of the middle rungs of the other ladder and the middle rope. As he climbs, he keeps his eye on Trent Seven who seems to be showing signs of life. The Bombardier of Battery eventually catches up with Dunne on the other side of the ladder. They hammer each other with stiff closed fists. This escalates to headbutts to the cranium. Trent Seven gets the better of Pete Dunne and tries to lift him for a Superplex over his head. The wiley ex-champion holds on to avoid the move. Chief Deputy Dunne has recovered and blasts Seven with another Low Blow. This gives Pete the perfect opportunity to bite the fingers of his former ally in nasty fashion. He then spits in his face before dead lift him with a Vertical Suplex and drop him on to the ladder that he previously placed in front of them. Tyler Bate approaches Pete Dunne. He is wiped out with a Running Spear by his brother though whilst The Bruiserweight grabs the belts. We have new EPW British Tag Team Champions. Pete Dunne stands on top of the ladder with both belts. He is back in English Pro Wrestling and the Genting Arena fills with nuclear heat. The longest reigning champion of the modern era of the company slowly climbs down the ladder. Chief Deputy Dunne tries to hug him but his brother boots him in the gut and drills him with the Bitter End. Nobody can quite believe it. The Bruiserweight holds up both pieces of gold himself as the fans boo even more. The show closes with him leaving the ring with both belts hanging out of his mouth. As he reaches the stage, the jeers continue to reign in with Mauro Ranallo yelling down his headset; 'PETE DUNNE IS BACK IN ENGLISH PRO WRESTLING. BE AFRAID, BE VERY AFRAID!'

Despite the involvement by Stone, solid opener. Usually when a major championship is defended in the opener something like that is bound to happen, nothing wrong with that though.

I’ll admit I wasn’t expecting Davis to best Sabu so soon into the challenger’s tour. Have a feeling they may go at it a couple of more times before he leaves, just a matter of how soon he’ll recover from this one.

Hendry should become a major part of the roster once he’s cleared to compete. Haven’t seen much of his work personally, but I know he’s a big deal in the UK. Not sure how good on the headset he’ll be in the meantime though.

Even though she wasn’t successful tonight Martina was impressive. Hopefully she can shake off the loss and keep momentum going. Liked the spot pre-bell where she stole a kiss form Dar, though I don’t know why she’d do that, she knows where his mouth has been.

Didn’t expect Banks to walk out with the briefcase. Scurll and Havoc seemed like strong possibilities to win it (with Conners being a serious threat), but interesting play to go with Banks. Hopefully Cooper and Black will have his back when he cashes in. With Big Damo currently holding the strap Banks will need all the help he can get. This one had to have stolen the show.

Well played swerve in the main. If Dunne pulled down the belts with his opponents allowing him to do so I don’t think the EPW faithful would have taken too kindly to that. Not sure of what to think of Dunne turning on Deputy like that though. Didn’t think they’d last long to begin with, but wondered how Dunne would break off. I guess that makes Dunne’s return to the company official, though with the image of him holding both tag belts I wonder if Regal will make thinks difficult for him.
