RELOADED MATCH #1: Fabian Aichner defeated TK Cooper via pinfall with the Sitout Powerbomb. The two competitors shook hands once this match had ended. The Italian import will be with the company temporarily as part of his ongoing tour of Europe.

RELOADED MATCH #2: Noam Dar defeated Kid Lykos (with Chris Brookes) via submission with the Champagne Super Kneebar. The Scottish Supernova did not have his girlfriend Kay Lee Ray in his corner which could indicate a storyline split between the two.

RELOADED MATCH #3: Moustache Mountain & Pollyanna Peppers defeated Muscle, Steel and Sex Appeal & Nixon Newell in a Six-Person Intergender Match with an Assisted Spike Piledriver on Josh Bodom whilst Pollyanna wiped out Cruz and Newell with a Tope Suicida.

EPW Live #81

Once Reloaded came to a close, the Live broadcast begins with a video recap of last week's two-hour special showing Big Damo defeating Martin Stone to retain the EPW British Undisputed Championship in what would prove to be The Guvnor's last match of his career. We also saw Mark Haskins defeat Jimmy Havoc in a singles match, a brawl break out between Pete Dunne and Will Ospreay after The Bruiserweight cost The Aerial Assassin his earlier match, Dahlia Black win the EPW British Women's Championship from Kay Lee Ray, Marty Scurll was challenged to continue his winning streak if he wants a title shot next month and The Anti-Fun Police controversially beat The Glaswegian Assembly to retain their EPW British Tag Team Championships. Tonight's show marks English Pro Wrestling's month long stop in the country's capital of London. The Roundhouse plays host to this episode. Mauro Ranallo, Nigel McGuinness and Joe Hendry welcome us and run down the scheduled matches which include Pete Dunne & Mark Haskins vs. long-time rivals Marty Scurll & Will Ospreay in a tag team match, Travis Banks goes one-on-one with EPW British Tag Team Champion Ryan Smile and new EPW British Women's Champion Dahlia Black takes on former champion Kay Lee Ray in a Non-Title Match. The main event is yet to be announced.

William Regal opens the show. The commissioner walks down the aisle and he has a lot to address before we kick off the action. First of all, he focuses on the recent controversy surrounded the former EPW British Hardcore Champion who has had his contract terminated. The boss doesn't wish to get in to the whole situation however we will crown a new EPW British Hardcore Champion in a Battle Royal tonight. The London fans approve and express this with cheers. Regal then regretfully informs us that Big Damo has triggered a clause in his contract which enables him to take one month's annual leave. The Beast From Belfast will be off for the next month and will be returning at the new two-hour special; EPW Live #85: London Brawling. The commissioner promises that there will be a challenger waiting for him which will be determined over the next few weeks. Before signing off, Regal leaves us with an advert for the biggest episode of EPW Live of 2018; This Is England 2. This will mark the company 100th episode of the programme. The official theme song for the show is Chase & Status - All Goes Wrong. Every title will be on the line. Grudges will be settled. History will be made.

Travis Banks vs. Ryan Smile (with Chief Deputy Dunne)
The Kiwi Buzzsaw is welcomed to the ring with a positive response. The fans have really got behind the winner of the Battle For The Briefcase Ladder Match as of late and he has shown that he is just as effective in singles competition as he is as a tag team competitor alongside TK Cooper. The former EPW British Tag Team Champion will be going head-to-head with one half of the holders of that very belt; Ryan Smile. The Superintendent is not afforded the same reaction that Travis Banks was. He makes his way down the aisle to a chorus of boos whilst his co-champion Chief Deputy Dunne joins him in his corner. The pace of the match is slow at the start. The two try to out-wrestle one another on the mat. This favour Banks who is a well versed, self taught technician. He nearly manages to lock on the Lion's Clutch but Dunne pulls Smile to safety. The leader of The Anti-Fun Police shields his ally when his opponent teases a Suicide Dive. The referee stops him from doing so and The Superintendent slides back in to jump the babyface from behind. The arrogant high-flyer executes a Brainbuster followed by a Frog Splash for the first two count of the evening. He then lines up for the Superkick. As he approaches, Banks avoids it and then pulls off a Springboard Enzuiguri. Smile is dazed and confused. The briefcase holder then capitalises by drilling his opponent in to the canvas with his signature Fisherman's Buster; the Kiwi Crusher. He scores a near fall of his fall. Travis then sets up for the Spinning Torture Rack Slam but Smile lands on his feet. The EPW British Tag Team Champion turns the tables with a Leg Lariat and pulls off a Blue Thunder Bomb. He now takes to the ropes again. This time with a 450 Splash in mind. As he dives, his opponent rolls out of the way. The champ tries to keep the momentum on his side however he is knocked silly with a Roundhouse Kick to the head. Smile hits the ropes. On his way back, The Kiwi Buzzsaw executes the Spinning Torture Rack Slam. He hooks the leg. The official counts. It is a three count. Travis Banks picks up the win. He has his arm raised in victory and soon takes to the turnbuckles to celebrate. The crowd are cheering. London is certainly happy that EPW are back in the capital city. In the mean time, Chief Deputy Dunne pulls his partner to safety. Ryan Smile may be beaten but he sure is happy to be passed back his title belt.

We head to the backstage area where Will Ospreay is warming up for his upcoming match. The Aerial Assassin then looks up and is approached by long-time rival Marty Scurll. The two have been forced to team up tonight against the team of Pete Dunne and Mark Haskins. Scurll and Ospreay have one of the most storied rivalries in British wrestling history with their most historic matches happening right here in English Pro Wrestling. The Villain tells his arch-enemy that they will never ever be friends in a million years but they should put that aside just for one night. He reminds his rival that they need this victory to stay in contention for the EPW British Undisputed Championship. After a think, Ospreay does agree. He does however tell the dastardly villain to not try and pull any stunts out there otherwise he will not hesitate to drop him with the Oscutter. The two stare each other down as the segment comes to a close.

Non-Title Match
Dahlia Black vs. Kay Lee Ray

The ex-champion doesn't look happy at her recent loss when she makes her way down to the ring. She expresses that with a pre-match promo by running down the capital city, the people in the audience and the new champion. Dahlia Black is welcomed like she is home despite being from foreign shores. The New Zealand beauty makes her way down the aisle with her newly won gold around her waist and then proudly raises it high above her head on the turnbuckles. Kay Lee Ray is keen to get the first shot in. The Killer drags her rival off the ropes before beginning to put the boots in. She then nails her with a Running Boot in the corner for a one count. The angry Scot hammers down on the new champ with some stiff rights and then executes a Sitout Jawbreaker in the middle. The redhead then poses to the booing crowd. After Dahlia uses the ropes to help her finds her feet, she falls victim to several knife-edge chops. Kay Lee Ray then pulls off a Backpack Stunner for yet another pinfall. This time she reaches two. She argues to Jessika Carr about the speed of the count. This sure is becoming a weekly occurrence. The former champion never seems happy about the official's decisions. This gives Black time to recover and then make a comeback with a Running Forearm, a Headscissors Takedown and an Exploder Suplex. The fan favourite then follows up with a Missile Dropkick with a two count of her own. Dahlia then attempts a Neckbreaker but her opponent manages to elbow her way free. Kay Lee Ray responds with a Spinning Back Kick to the gut and a Full Nelson Facebuster transitioned in to a Snap DDT; the Kay Lee Combination. The Killer then slowly climbs the ropes with the Swanton Bomb in mind. She takes a moment to trash talk fans in the front row. This proves to be a mistake. The champion recovers in time and shakes the ropes to send her enemy falling to the canvas. Once her opponent finds her feet, she drops her again with a Falling Powerslam. She follows up with the Dark Side Of The Moonsault. Immediately she hooks the leg. The crowd count along with Jessika Carr's count. She reaches three and Dahlia Black is announced as the victor. She is passed her belt by the referee before having her arm raised. Out of nowhere, she is attacked from behind. The attacker is Jinny Couture who the champion beat in a Best Of Five Series to secure her initial title shot. It seems the beef between the two isn't over as The Resident Fashionista punches her in the skull several times in a mounted position. As Dahlia tries to fight back, she is drilled with a Running Big Boot and then dropped with the Sitout Facebuster. Boos echo around the arena when Jinny picks up the EPW British Women's Championship and holds it above her head. Joe Hendry yells out that Couture is here to take what should rightfully be hers. Mauro Ranallo and Nigel McGuinness remind him she was beaten fair and square in the Best Of Five Series however Hendry is adamant that we are looking at our next champ.

RJ Singh is in the backstage area standing by for an interview. His guest is TK Cooper who watched what just went down on the monitor. The New Zealand native doesn't seem happy with what has just gone down but after seeing what his girlfriend achieved last week, he believe she can come back from this and get some revenge on Jinny Couture. RJ is keen to move on to TK's own career though. Cooper is proud to watch his best friend and his girlfriend both succeed in singles competition. He has strung a few victories together himself as of late but admits that the defeat on Reloaded to Fabian Aichner was a big blow. We surprisingly see Singh fire back at his interviewee though. The usually mild-mannered member of the announce team tells the man standing in front of him that maybe he wouldn't be such a loser if he focused on himself rather than the other members of The South Pacific Power Trip. TK seems taken aback by the comment and tries to laugh it off. The Bollywood Dream then pushes the microphone he has held for over a year in to the chest of his guest. He then asks him if he wants to take over the backstage interviewer gig and RJ Singh reveals that it's about time he went back to where he belongs; the wrestling ring. As he walks off with purpose, TK Cooper looks confused before throwing the microphone to one side.

Marty Scurll & Will Ospreay vs. Pete Dunne & Mark Haskins
First out is The Hellbent Anti-Hero alongside his wife who assisted him in defeating Jimmy Havoc in singles action last week. He takes pleasure in watching back the replay on the titantron with an evil grin on his face. His partner is the #1 troublemaker right now in the company. The Bruiserweight stomps down the aisle meaning serious business. He got involved in the EPW British Hardcore Championship match last week for seemingly just to cause trouble. The man he screwed out of the gold took great exception to that and a brawl broke out later that night in the backstage area. As Pete Dunne reaches the ring, Mark Haskins tries to talk tactics with him but Dunne doesn't look interested in formulating any kind of game plan. The fans lap up the entrance of The Aerial Assassin. Will Ospreay has his eyes firmly fixated on his newfound enemy Pete Dunne. The Bruiserweight decides to step out to ringside whilst his opponent salutes the fans on the turnbuckles. Marty Scurll is also welcomed with cheers. The Villain is in hot pursuit of a title shot which is within reach. William Regal promised him a shot at Big Damo in four weeks on the condition he can continue his winning streak up until then. As the fan favourites enter the squared circle, they are jumped by their opponents to kick off the action. The referee eventually gets some decorum and the first two legal men are Mark Haskins and Marty Scurll. The two engage in some chain wrestling early on. Once the pace gets a little quicker, Scurll begins to take control. The Hellbent Anti-Hero gets a little overwhelmed. He is sat up on the top rope by his opponent but manages to rake the eyes. The Villain isn't happy about having the rules broken with it not being in his favour. There isn't much he can do when he is dropped with a Chop Block to the ankle. Haskins takes a moment to stomp down on the right leg. He then tags in his partner who does the same. Pete Dunne then reigns down on the ankle of his opponent with elbows, leg drops and then applies a Stretch Muffler. The Bruiserweight then antagonises Ospreay by yelling at him whilst the hold is still applied. The Aerial Assassin tries to get in the ring to break the hold. The referee holds him off. Mark Haskins takes this opportunity to jump in and attack Scurll's ankle some more. Once the referee turns round, the illegal man is back on the apron with the official unaware of what has just gone down. Marty is struggling to find his feet. This works in the favour of his opponent who hammers in to him with several forearms in the corner. He follows up with a Running European Uppercut in the corner and a Rolling Release Suplex. Dunne then locks on a Triangle Choke. The jeers are heard around The Roundhouse with the submission applied. The heels have the momentum. The fans eventually rally behind Scurll as he struggles out of the hold. The Bruiserweight tries to remain in control with a Kneeling Belly-To-Belly Piledriver before the move is reversed in to a Double Knee Facebreaker. The Villain then crawls over to tag in his fresh partner. Will Ospreay leaps in with a Springboard Forearm. He then drops Dunne with a trio of Clotheslines, a couple of Dropkicks and a Japanese Arm Drag. The former champion staggers back in to his corner to tag in Mark Haskins. It appears the arrogant troublemaker is overwhelmed. The match continues with Ospreay taking it to Haskins. Meanwhile, Marty Scurll takes a moment to recover before rushing round to nail Dunne with the Just Kidding Superkick at ringside over the announce table. As Ospreay nails Haskins with the Oscutter, The Villain also manages to tag himself in without the knowledge of his legal partner. The Aerial Assassin goes for the pinfall but is then thrown out of the ring by his own partner who then locks The Hellbent Anti-Hero in his own finisher; the Crossface Chickenwing. The Villain takes all the glory for himself. Mark Haskins taps. Marty Scurll & Will Ospreay are victorious just before Pete Dunne can reach the ring to get involved. As the winner has his arm raised, his partner climbs back in the ring and gives him a shove. The Villain just decides to call it a day and leaves with a grin. Ospreay watches as he leaves. He has made one big mistake though. He took his eye off Pete Dunne. We all know you can never take your eye off The Bruiserweight. The angry grappler blasts Ospreay with a Forearm Smash and follows up with his finisher; the Bitter End. For the second week in a row, Pete Dunne has floored Will Ospreay for seemingly no reason. Mark Haskins is now up and is applauding his partner's actions. Dunne offers him a handshake and the defeated heels look to attack Ospreay some more. Instead, The Bruiserweight chooses to nail his partner with the Bitter End too. He takes a moment to stand tall in the ring and bask in the fans' boos.

As we return, 'London Boys' by Richard Myhill blares over the speakers to a loud cheer. Out walks Martin Stone in t-shirt and jeans. The Guvnor had an emotional farewell last week and is out here to address his home crowd for one final time. He takes to each corner to salute each section of the cheering crowd and is handed the microphone by ring announcer Jim Smallman. Stone takes a moment to thank the fans around the globe for their support over the past twenty years for helping him live his dream and represent this country in the ring. He has wrestled all over the world but English Pro Wrestling was always his home. It's where things really got off the ground for him and it's where it all ended. The London based legend is happy that it all ended when it did though because he didn't want to become some old nostalgia act. Stone wanted to go out on top and he did by taking the EPW British Undisputed Championship to the limit. That's something he can be proud of when looking back on his storied career. He also wants to thank William Regal for allowing to have this one last run, all of the people he shared the ring with and even the commentary team. They were right when they said EPW would always be his manor. It will be however he took a look at the locker room earlier tonight and he knows that his manor will be in very, very safe hands. The Guvnor finally declares that he is no longer this company's main event with one final line; 'the fight must go on!' He drops the microphone in the middle before taking to the ropes again to salute the fans. We head to one final break having seen a legend say his final farewell.

Hardcore Battle Royal for the vacant EPW British Hardcore Championship
BT Gunn vs. Chief Deputy Dunne vs. Dave Mastiff vs. El Ligero vs. Iestyn Rees vs. James Drake vs. Jimmy Havoc vs. Joseph Conners vs. Zack Gibson vs. ???

The title belt was made vacant earlier in the week after the now former champion had his contract terminated for reasons not mentioned on the programme. The full situation can be seen online and the commentary team do not mention it at all. It is all about crowning a new champion. The first man to make his way down the aisle is the inaugural champion; Jimmy Havoc. The King of the Goths wishes to regain the gold and take back the hardcore division. BT Gunn makes his way down looking as tenacious as ever. The Oddity got back to winning ways with a victory on last week's Reloaded and has vowed to win his first belt with the company. El Ligero is next to make his way to a decent response from the London fans. The high-flyer's last foray in to the hardcore division saw him battered with a steel chair. Will this evening be any different? Joseph Conners makes his way down to the ring in quick fashion with his eye on BT Gunn whom he lost to last week. The Righteous Killer hasn't been in great form but a championship win would be the perfect way to change his fortunes. The Grizzled Young Veterans enter to nuclear heat. These two are hated in these parts of the country. Zack Gibson has a microphone and declares that either him or his associate will become the hardcore division's number one by winning this match. The fans disapprove. They soon perk up when the duo are interrupted by the new duo of Dave Mastiff and Iestyn Rees who are now collectively known as The Alpha Bastards. The two heavyweights pose a massive threat to everybody in this one. They do have their eyes on Zack Gibson and James Drake who they butted heads with last week at EPW Live #80: The Only Way Is Essex. Chief Deputy Dunne is a late entrant. We saw his tag partner in action earlier in a losing effort but the leader of The Anti-Fun Police will be looking to add more gold to his stable's collection. Finally we have a surprise entrant. Returning from injury is Rampage Brown who is more fired up than ever. The fans welcome back the powerhouse from Leeds by chanting his name. The other competitors in the match appear rattled by his appear. The Master of the Piledriver arrives to ringside and starts launching weapon after weapon in to the ring. The fight breaks out. Here we go. Eliminations occur when a wrestler is thrown over the top rope and both feet hit the floor. Once we are down to two, you can also win via pinfall or submission. The ten warriors all fight between themselves. The Grizzled Young Veterans are tossed around by their larger enemies The Alpha Bastards. Jimmy Havoc is nailing Joseph Conners with a staple gun. The Righteous Killer eventually rolls out of the ring under the ropes in lots of pain as The King of the Goths moves his attention to other wrestlers. It's an all-out fight for the others. Chief Deputy Dunne attempts to nail Rampage Brown with the EPW British Tag Team Championship belt but is blasted with a Big Boot. He then grabs the heel around the throat and launches him over the ropes with a Gorilla Press Slam to eliminate him. The leader of The Anti-Fun Police hits the floor hard. His co-champion rushes down to help him to the back. Ryan Smile pulls him up to his feet and pretty much drags him through the curtain. Meanwhile, Rampage Brown is still on the hunt for more prey. He executes a Double Chokeslam on BT Gunn and El Ligero. He then picks The Oddity up by his t-shirt before simply tossing him down to ringside. BT Gunn is eliminated. The powerhouse from Leeds cannot be stopped. The Alpha Bastards are still taking in to The Grizzled Young Veterans. They drill both men with a Double Spinebuster on to trash cans and throw them out to eliminate them. Zack Gibson and James Drake help each other to the back. Rampage is still launching bodies left and right. El Ligero is his next victim. He executes the Leaping Piledriver. As the Mexican high-flyer springs up, his opponent nails him with a Clothesline over the ropes to eliminate him. Jimmy Havoc has been placed on the ropes by Dave Mastiff. Unbeknownst to The Bastard From The Black Country, Havoc is still in possession of the staple gun and drills him in the forehead with it. He then pulls him over the rope with a Hurricanrana whilst holding on to the rope. The biggest man is eliminated by the smallest man left in the contest. This leaves Iestyn Rees as the only member of The Alpha Bastards left. He tries to whack Rampage with a steel chair but he ducks and nails him with the Piledriver too. Brown throws him out for the next elimination. Jimmy Havoc has set up a table with the ambitious intention of putting Rampage through it. Before he can even try, Joseph Conners quickly rushes in from ringside where he has been hiding. The Righteous Killer throws Havoc over the ropes to thwart his plans and put himself in the final two. As he turns around, he realises his mistake. It's just him and Rampage left. The mammoth beast of a man catches up with Conners. He drills him with a Uranage Slam and the Piledriver. That isn't enough though. The Master of the Piledriver pulls his opponent up to the second rope with him. The table is in close proximity and he leaps through the air to put Conners through the wood with the Piledriver. The crowd go nuts as he hooks the leg. The referee counts three. Rampage Brown is back in a big way. The powerhouse from Leeds is the new EPW British Hardcore Champion. He is awarded his belt and swings it over his shoulder whilst the official raises his arm. The hardcore division has a new ruler. Who will even dare to step up to challenge him?

From what I read about the situation with Strangler Davis it through off my focus for this one. Noticed his release before tuning in, and when I looked into it I was surprised at what was being said.

Bummer that Big Damo will be taking a month off, hopefully international ratings won't take too big of a hit because of it ;) .

Nice win for Banks in the opener.

Unexpected pairings in the tag, but the match looked good. Regal better do something about Dunne's actions sooner rather than later if he can.

Even with his farewell moment, I won't be surprised if this is the last EPW sees of him.

Almost forgot about Rampage Brown, glad to see him make his return here. Can't recall when he was last in action, but he made his return count. Can't help but wonder how he would have made his return if things behind the scenes didn't happen the way they did. Still, good to see was able to make best of a bad situation.
