Revolution Wrestling Presents Chapter Five: Simply the Best Weekend (Stage Two) Undisclosed Location in Chicago, IL. 07.15.17 The beautiful, Melissa Santos welcomes the hot Chicago crowd to Chapter Four: Simply the Best Stage Two! She thanks them for their support these past three nights, and promises an incredible event tonight to cap off the weekend. She hypes the Dream Six Man Tag Team match tonight, which will pit The Elite (Young Bucks and Kenny Omega) against Team Lucha (Drago, Fenix, and Pentagon Jr). That along with two championship matches, the first being Super ACH defending his belt against the man who stole it last month, Trevor Lee. And in tonights main event, the man who left last night as the first Revolution champion defends the belt only 24 hours later against, The Death Machine, Sami Callihan! Chris Hero comes out dressed in street clothes, and his arm in a sling. He asks for the microphone which Melissa hands over to him. He promises to make this short, but he's unable to compete tonight due to a minor tear in his elbow. He says he won't be gone long, and will be joining the commentary team for the time being. He says that he will be watching the main event closely because when he's healed he wants a title shot against whoever the champ might be. Davey Vega then interrupts Chris Hero, as he pretends to sob as he rolls into the ring. The crowd chants "SHUT THE FUCK UP" at Davey who has yet to even speak a single word. Hero leads the crowd into chanting it louder. Excalibur and Corey Graves on commentary call Davey Vega the most hated man in Revolution Wrestling, with a losing streak only equal to Mat Fitchett's. Davey Vega calls Chris Hero a walking oxymoron, because he's no Hero, he's a coward. Vega calls Hero weak, and tells Hero that he's looking at the man who will be Revolution champion when he returns. He demands Hero to get out of Vega's ring, so that he can kick a peacock's ass tonight. Match One Chapter Two ReMatch: Davey Vega vs. Dalton Castle (w/ The Boys) [20 Minute Time Limit] The Boys fan down The Party Peacock as he stares down his arch nemesis from across the ring. Castle is extremely over with the crowd who chant his name, as Corey threatens that the hot crowd is really testing the strength of this run down building as they're about to blow the roof off the place already. Excalibur explains their rivalry which started at Chapter Two, where Dalton scored a victory over Davey Vega. Then last night at Chapter Four, Davey Vega called Castle a loser after having lost to Tetsuya Naito leading to this rematch. As the bell sounds, both men leave their respective corners as Dalton struts around the ring. They look for a lock up, and Vega kicks Castle in the gut and pummels him into the ropes. Davey eventually gets back dropped to the floor, where he's quick to reach his feet. Dalton Castle then takes out Davey on the outside with a plancha before taking the action back into the ring. Davey kicks the ropes into the groin of Castle's as Dalton was entering the ring. Vega follows up with a running bulldog onto his knee, and follows through with a Shining Wizard for a long two count. Davey begins choking Castle on the mat, as he screams at The Boys at ringside. Davey in firm control locks Dalton in a chin lock, as he spits at one of the Boys. Castle see's this and begins to hulk up, and elbows his way out of the chin lock. He ducks a wild clothesline from Davey, and drops him with an atomic drop, followed by a german suplex for a long two count. Dalton reaches his feet in a corner as The Boys fan him down from the outside. Vega reaches his feet in the opposite corner, as Castle sprints at him right into a boot to the face. Vega hops onto the second rope, and leaps off looking for a double axe handle. Dalton Castle catches him into a big belly to belly suplex, and crawls over to Davey Vega to score a long two count. Dalton climbs up to the top rope, and leaps off looking for a flying crossbody, but Davey Vega avoids it causing the flying peacock to crash and burn. Davey Vega then follows up with a superkick, then a brain buster for the 1...2...KICK OUT! Davey Vega is furious, as he was the closest he's ever been to scoring his first victory here in Revolution Wrestling. Davey Vega looks for a second brain buster but Dalton Castle is able to counter it into the Bang A Rang to pick up the victory out of nowhere in a little over 9 minutes. Following the contest, Dalton Castle celebrates his victory as The Boys enter the ring fanning him down and hugging their man. Dalton bows to the crowd as they chant his name, but his celebration is short lived when Davey Vega attacks him from behind. Davey mounts Castle, and pummels him with repeated fists. Davey then superkicks one of the Boys, and then brain busters the other. He tosses Dalton Castle out of the ring, and continues the assault on the floor. He leaves Dalton Castle bloodied on the outside after tossing him face first into the steel ring post. Excalibur says that this feud looks far from over. Match Two Singles Match: Tommaso Ciampa vs. Jeff Cobb [20 Minute Time Limit] Chris Hero says that he's been in the ring against both men in different companies, and guarantees this to be extremely hard hitting. Ciampa starts off the match by smacking Cobb across the face. Corey Graves calls that a bad decision, as Cobb immediately drops Ciampa with an exploder suplex! Ciampa reaches his feet in a daze not knowing what him, and Cobb immediately tosses with another suplex, this one a pump handle variation. Ciampa refuses to stay down, get to a knee and slaps Cobb across the face again. Cobb shakes his head, and picks up Ciampa, and plants him with a T-Bone Suplex. Cobb covers but Ciampa kicks out at one, and fights to his feet. He slaps Cobb across the face a third time, and ducks a clothesline and grabs Cobb by the head with one hand and unloads with palm strikes to the face with his other. Ciampa hits the ropes and knees Cobb in the side of the head, sending Cobb through the ropes and to the floor. Ciampa slowly follows pursuit, favoring his back from the suplexes his took moments ago. Ciampa grabs a steel chair, and smashes it across Cobb's back several times, as Excalibur reminds the viewer that there is no disqualifications or count outs in Revolution Wrestling. The two bulls continue to brawl on the outside, and Cobb looks for a German Suplex on the hard concrete floor. Ciampa saves himself from certain injury, and elbows Ciampa in the side of the head and jaw until Mr. Athletic releases the hold. Ciampa forearms the fuck out of Cobb repeatedly on the outside, and sends Cobb into the ring. Ciampa lowers a knee pad, and blasts Cobb in the side of the head with a running knee in a corner. Ciampa hits a second one before covering Cobb for a long two count. Ciampa calls for the Project Ciampa, but can't lift up Jeff Cobb who clobbers away at Ciampa. Cobb misses a corner splash, and Ciampa looks for another running knee but runs into a big urinage out of the corner! Cobb follows up with an impressive standing moonsault/standing shooting star press combo for a long two count. Cobb calls for the end, and looks to take Ciampa on a Tour of the Islands, but Ciampa elbows free, and boots Cobb in the face repeatedly. Cobb falls back into a corner and eats a second running knee to the jaw. Ciampa follows up with an incredible Powerbomb onto his knees! Ciampa covers for the 1...2...KICK OUT!!! Ciampa immediately looks for his Fujiwara Arm Bar, but Cobb grabs the ropes forcing the rope break. Backstage: The Death Machine, Sami Callihan is in a dark room sitting in a corner secluded corner. He talks to the camera without even looking at. He remains focused staring intently off camera. He talks about how he busted his ass and got to live his dream joining the WWE, but he left because he knew his worth. He knew that these independents would die without the Death Machine. He says that while he was up North, he was told that he was too violent, he was too ugly, and he was too fucking VIOLENT some more. Meanwhile, Seth Rollins was the yes man, and did everything they told him to do. He grins, still not looking into the camera, remaining in a profile shot. Sami warns Rollins that he's going to hurt him tonight, and he's going to hurt him bad. Not because he doesn't like Seth, but because he wants to. He has to because Rollins has what he wants and that's the championship he has over his shoulder. Sami finally turns his head to the left, staring viciously into the camera. He warns Rollins that tonight he's just a paper champion. Match Three Four Corner Survival: Player Dos vs. Andrew Everett vs. Becky Lynch vs. Mat Fitchett [20 Minute Time Limit] Player Dos was originally scheduled for tag team competition with his partner Player Uno to face Chosen Bros tonight, but due to circumstances beyond anyone's control, Uno had to miss his flight. Becky Lynch was scheduled for a Grudge match against rival, Heidi Lovelace but due to injury on Thursday Night she was forced by doctors to not compete. Excalibur concludes, "Thus, we get this interesting cluster of styles". Hero points out that Becky is the most favored with the crowd, but he's choosing Fitchett to take it. He calls his match with Fitchett this past weekend an incredible fight, and Fitchett is now even more determined to get his first victory. All four competitors lock up, and exchange go behinds, until Dos escapes, and uses his controller to pause the three of them. It looks like Becky is hugging Everett from behind, and Everett is hugging Fitchett from behind. Dos drills all three of them with superkicks, but they remain in the position unphased with it. Dos unpauses the action, and all three opponents fall to the mat selling the superkicks. Dos covers Everett who kicks out at two. Dos runs into a standing rana from Fitchett out of a corner, and Dos rolls to the outside. Fitchett follows up with an asai moonsault to the outside onto Player Dos! - Davey Vega might be biting off a little more than he can chew with Chris Hero. I have no doubt that Hero will have an elbow with Vega's name written all over it when he is all healed up. - Big win for Jeff Cobb. I have made it no secret that I am a big fan of The Super Athlete. Hopefully Tommaso Ciampa can come back from the loss though as I rate him highly as a performer. - Wow. Great way to weave Becky Lynch in to the X Division mix. I was also surprised to see her pick up the win too. The Irish Lass Kicker has to be in line for a title match soon. There were some top contenders in this match. - Rob Rage sure look it to Cage. I am a fan of the XCW star however was a little gutted to see Cage lose on his home turf I must admit especially in such a cheap manner. - The X-Division Title match sure looked an exciting one. ACH is looking like a true champion in a thriving division with many interesting contenders vying for a shot at the gold right now. - Rollins/Callihan was one hell of a match. It was a tense one at the end with so many kick outs. Holy shit at The Young Bucks turning on Kenny Omega. Hoping we see a much darker side of The Bullet Club with Sami Callihan in charge. |
