RELOADED MATCH #1: The Glaswegian Assembly defeated The Second City Collective via pinfall after Joe Coffey took Damian Dunne's head off with the Discus Lariat for the three count. RELOADED MATCH #2: Kay Lee Ray, Xia Brookside & Laura Di Matteo defeated Jinny Couture, Nikki Cross & Bea Priestley via pinfall when Kay Lee Ray pinned Priestley with the Swanton Bomb. RELOADED MATCH #3: Noam Dar defeated Zack Gibson via submission after forcing his way out of the Shankley Gates, delivering the Nova Roller and applying the Champagne Super Kneebar. EPW Live #100: This Is England 2 The show begins with a video to the sound of 'Alive' by Chase & Status showing the best moments since the company relaunched two years ago including Marty Scurll winning the inaugural title tournament, British Strong Style's reign of terror, the emergence of the women's division, The South Pacific Power Trip setting records in the tag team division, Jack Gallagher's win at EPW Live #50: This Is England, the fall from grace and rehabilitation of Will Ospreay, Big Damo's rise to the top, Pete Dunne's shock return, the retirement of Martin Stone, William Regal's turn from the people's commissioner to the evil authority figure and the formation of The Sanguinary. The Metro Radio Arena is sold-out for the biggest event in the company's calendar. 11,000 fans have filled up the venue and are ready for a great show. Kano is on the stage. He performs his hit song 'This Is England' to a positive reaction from the crowd. Mauro Ranallo and Nigel McGuinness welcome the viewing audience watching at home once he has finished to EPW Live #100: This Is England 2. They quickly run down the card; Jack Gallagher vs. Jimmy Havoc, Travis Banks vs. TK Cooper, The Corporate Entourage's Big Damo, Joe Hendry & Nathan Cruz vs. Drew Galloway, Trent Seven & El Ligero in a Six Man Tag Team Elimination Match, The C.C.K vs. Austin Aries & Jay Lethal for the EPW British Tag Team Championships, Awesome Kong vs. Viper for the EPW British Women's Championship and Mark Haskins vs. Pete Dunne for the EPW British Undisputed Championship in our main event. Jim Smallman is in the ring to introduce the competitors to the ring for our opening contest. Jack Gallagher vs. Jimmy Havoc (with Bram) This rivalry kicked all the way back at EPW Live #93 where Jack Gallagher made his long-awaited return to address the fans. Jimmy Havoc wound up attacking him from behind followed by weeks of empty threats. When The Extraordinary Gentleman appeared to finally get his hands on The King of the Goths, he was jumped from behind by the debuting Bram who aligned himself with Havoc to form The Sanguinary. They alongside Mark Haskins have targeted the underdog ever since however he will not take this lying down. Jack Gallagher is the first to hit the ring to the sound of 'Toreador'. The fans cheer him especially when he steps up to the turnbuckles to salute them. The mood turns sour when AFI - I Hope Your Suffer plays. Jimmy Havoc enters with Bram by his side. The commentary team question how the brawler from Chesterfield is allowed out here. We all know what his intentions are and that is to make life difficult for the babyface. The match begins with some chain wrestling which favours Gallagher. Havoc can hold up his side of the exchange though. He is a 15 year pro after all so he's picked up a few holds along the way. After a while, Gallagher manages to tie his opponent up in to a Bow and Arrow submission. It is clear Havoc won't tap yet so he releases it. He goes for a Running Soccer Kick. The King of the Goths ducks, rolls him up with a School Boy and turns the tables with a Seated Dropkick. He then really does some damage with a Double Foot Stomp. As Gallagher rolls around the ring in pain, Havoc quickly takes advantage and drops his opponent with a Bridging Back Suplex for a two count. The Extraordinary Gentleman tries to sit up again but is nailed with another Double Foot Stomp. Nigel McGuinness comments that Gallagher's chest must be hurting right now. Havoc decides to take to the top rope and pulls off a Diving Elbow Drop. He then applies a Camel Clutch. The King of the Goths yells insults at his opponent whilst the hold is locked on. As he attempts to transition in to a Guillotine Choke, Gallagher elbows his way out of it in to a Rear Naked Choke of his own. Havoc scrambles for a way out. He eventually drapes his foot over the rope to force a break. Gallagher nails him with a European Uppercut. His opponent staggers in to the corner and he follows up with a Dragon Screw Leg Whip transitioned in to a Surfboard submission. The fans lap it up. Bram is not happy though. The Chesterfield Plague starts arguing with his ally's opponent from ringside. The distraction is enough for Havoc to recover and shift the momentum in his favour with an Inverted Death Valley Driver for a two count. He then locks on the Sleeper Hold. Gallagher begins to fade. The referee pulls up the arm twice however he shows signs of life before the third time. He shows a terrific feat of strength by lifting his way out of the hold and switching in to a Bridging Dragon Suplex for a near fall. The Extraordinary Gentleman attempts a Crucifix Pin. The King of the Goths counters it in to his finisher; the Go Home Driver. The fans boo as he holds on for the pinfall but then go nuts when Gallagher manages to kick out just before three. Havoc's frustration is now at an all-time high. He scales back and then charges forward for a Knee Trembler. Gallagher trips him down in to a Torture Crab. The desperate heel has no other alternative but to tap out. As he lifts his arm, Bram holds his arm out and pulls him to the ropes. The referee orders him to leave immediately. He has made a difference though. As he leaves, Gallagher tries to apply the Achilles Lock. Havoc kicks him away before drilling him with a Roaring Elbow. He then pulls off the Acid Rainmaker and hooks the leg. The official counts. Gallagher kicks out again. This underdog has no quit in him. Havoc places Gallagher up on the top rope for what looks to be a Frankensteiner. When he executes the moves, his opponent holds on and he crashes down to the canvas. He quickly gets up. Gallagher has already dove through the air and blasts him with a Diving Torpedo Headbutt. The King of the Goths falls in a heap in the middle of the ring. The Achilles Lock is applied. The Extraordinary Gentleman pulls back on the hold with no remorse. Jimmy Havoc taps out. Jack Gallagher has picked up the first victory of the evening. His arm is raised by the referee who did a great job. The winner takes to each turnbuckle to salute the cheering fans after finally scoring revenge over The Sanguinary. William Regal is in his office with The Corporate Entourage all lined up in a row. The commissioner trusts that his associates know what they need to do tonight. Joe Hendry is told to make up for his loss against El Ligero by eliminating him from the Six Man Tag Team Match. The boss looks over towards Nathan Cruz and tells him to make Trent Seven fall victim to 'the power of the punch'. We all know he is referring to those brass knuckles. Regal approaches Big Damo with caution. He wants him to lock Drew Galloway in the Cu Chullain's Wrath and choke the life out of him until he regrets turning down their offer with every fibre of his being. The trio seem confident going in to this match. They know they are representing the most powerful man in the company and we've seen what he has done to those who have let him down in the past for example Dave Mastiff and Iestyn Rees. He then turns to his security team; Fit Finlay, Dave Taylor & Robbie Brookside. Regal has a special assignment for them too. He wants them to make sure Pete Dunne goes in to the main event at a distinct disadvantage if they get his drift. The three veterans smile at the prospect of teaching the cocky rebel a lesson. Finally, the commissioner tells his men that there's no room for failure tonight. Travis Banks vs. TK Cooper The South Pacific Power Trip are without a doubt the most successful tag team in the company's history. They were the longest reigning EPW British Tag Team Champions of all time and the best win-loss record in the tag team division. The duo slowly parted ways when Travis Banks won the Battle For The Briefcase Ladder Match to earn himself a title shot. TK Cooper went on to a lengthy losing streak which saw him lose a match with the added stipulation that the loser would be unable to receive challenge for any championship for an entire year. The high-flyer from New Zealand took this badly however his best friend and tag team partner seemed to motivate him to keep his head up. That was until the pair lost to The Aussie Open last month and The Kiwi Buzzsaw took his frustrations out on his unlucky partner. Banks then formed the Australasian Strong Style faction with former rivals The Aussie Open and newcomer Madison Eagles whilst repeatedly calling out his absent former running mate. Cooper eventually returned last week to accept the challenge. This feud was brilliantly summed up in a terrific hype video to the sound of 'Kill of the Night' by Gin Wigmore. Travis Banks is welcomed to the squared circle to utter contempt from the fans that used to support him. The Kiwi Buzzsaw is sporting the new Australasian Strong Style t-shirt. Mauro Ranallo and Nigel McGuinness joke that sales haven't been booming for that particular piece of merchandise after his recent actions. TK Cooper returns to the ring with the crowd behind him. He looks more focused than ever before. These two were like brothers up until a few weeks ago. The bell rings and we don't see a lock up. These friend turned bitter rivals kick things off with some heavy strikes. TK takes Banks down to the canvas with a Double Leg Takedown and lays in to him with several mounted punches. The Kiwi Buzzsaw scurries away in to the corner. Cooper blasts him with a Hesitation Dropkick. Banks rolls out to recover however his former partner teases a Suicide Dive. The heavy-hitter from New Zealand scouts it though and quickly slides back in. He clocks TK with a Running Clothesline to turn the table. As he throws him in to the corner, he follows up with some loud knife-edge chops which echo around the arena. Travis then grabs him round the throat before yelling 'you're a failure' repeatedly. His opponent fires back again with some chops of his own before nailing a Spinning Back Elbow on the rebound. Banks rolls to the outside for a breather once again. This time TK delivers a Corkscrew Plancha to send his arch-enemy crashing in to the steel barricade. He then rolls him back in to the ring and climbs up to the top rope. Cooper flies through the air with a 450 Splash in mind. The Kiwi Buzzsaw gets his knees up though to avoid the brunt of the move. After Cooper rolls in to a kneeling position, he is drilled with several stiff shoot kicks to the chest. You can see his chest going bright red after each shot. His opponent then follows up with a Springboard Enzuiguri and locks on a Torture Crab. Cooper looks in tremendous pain. He tries his hardest to crawl over to the ropes. When it seems near on impossible, he finds a way to escape the hold. He tries to turn the tables with a Tornado DDT. Banks fires back with a Forearm Smash and then executes the Spinning Torture Rack Slam on the rebound. He makes the cover. The referee counts. TK kicks out. As the crowd begin chanting his name, we start to see a babyface comeback. He can't quite deliver that move to shift the momentum until he manages to pull off an impressive Spinning Impaler out of nowhere for a near fall. The two wrestlers slowly climb to their feet. They go face-to-face and then begin trading right elbows which escalates in to chops. Banks gets the better of his opponent. He pulls off a Spinning Back Elbow, quickly drops him with the Kiwi Crusher and transitions in to the Lion's Clutch. It could be over. The Kiwi Buzzsaw has put many men away with this hold. His ex-partner does everything he can to avoid tapping out. As he lifts his arm to submit, he finally manages to roll over to escape. The crowd goes nuts as he scores a gut kick. Cooper then runs the ropes and executes the Scissors Kick for the pinfall. The referee counts. The crowd count along with him. Travis Banks kicks out just before three. Both of these men have given it there all. The high-flyer from New Zealand takes to the top rope with another high-risk move in mind. He takes too long and gets blasted with a Bicycle Kick. Banks pulls off a Superplex. He then pulls Cooper up for a German Suplex but he switches out of it and rolls Banks up in to a School Boy. The Kiwi Buzzsaw kicks out at two. As he sits up, he is then nailed with a Bicycle Kick to the jaw. Blood begins to pour from the mouth of the heel. He tries to fire back with another Running Clothesline. Cooper ducks and executes the Go To Sleep. He hooks the leg. The referee counts and reaches three. TK Cooper gets the win. 'Without You' by Netsky echoes around the arena after the bell rings. The official raises the arm of the risk-taker from New Zealand for the first time in many months. He and the fans are overjoyed by the result as he jumps up to the turnbuckle to celebrate. In the mean time, Travis Banks is sat in the corner with his head in his hands. The Kiwi Buzzsaw eventually looks up to see the man he turned on holding his hand out to bury the hatchet. He accepts and the crowd let out a roar. That is until Banks pulls him in for a kick to the groin. He won't let his enemy have his moment. The treacherous heel follows up by executing the Kiwi Crusher to leave him laying. He even goes back to spit on his grounded opponent in one the biggest displays of disrespect in this company's history. The leader of Australasian Strong Style really should be ashamed of himself. His behaviour led to the end of The South Pacific Power Trip but this post-match beat down is the final nail in the coffin. Jennifer Louise is trying to get an interview with Awesome Kong who is marching down the corridor with her EPW British Women's Championship over her shoulder. She eventually shoves the interviewer out of her way and slams shut the door of her locker room. As Jennifer goes to walk away, she bumps in to Josh Bodom who hasn't been seen on television for a few weeks. The Blonde Bomber takes the microphone from her and declares that he is going to have to take TV time if it's not going to be given to him. Bodom claims to have the looks, the skills, the ability, the charisma and the marketability to be on every show yet gets bumped off on a weekly basis in place of inferior wrestlers. He has had enough of being ignored around here. There is no one in this locker room that compares to him and he's willing to prove just that. Bodom doesn't care about the schedule in place for the biggest show of the calendar. After questioning how this can be the biggest show without him on the card, he makes it known that we'll be seeing more of him tonight. Jennifer Louise asks him in what capacity will he be getting involved. The Blonde Bomber tells the audience to just keep watching. EPW British Tag Team Championships The C.C.K (c) vs. Austin Aries & Jay Lethal The reigning champions won the gold two months ago and have been proudly representing this company ever since. After their title defence at EPW Live #95: Winds Of Change, The C.C.K were jumped from behind by Austin Aries & Jay Lethal who have revealed in the weeks following the beat down that they are working for Shane McMahon and the new THRIVE promotion. Their motivation is to take the belts back to North America with them to hand over to their new boss. Chris Brookes and Kid Lykos prove that they are fighting champions by accepting the challenge posed by their newfound enemies however they were left lying after a brawl with the challengers on last week's episode. The outsiders enter through the crowd. They were not welcome in the English Pro Wrestling locker room and rightly so. Aries and Lethal have insult hurled at them but they don't care. The champs emerge from the backstage area to huge support from the sell-out crowd. The pairing waste no time running down the aisle to kick things off. The babyfaces clear the ring and Brookes follows up with a Suicide Dive over the ropes on to his opponents. His partner then follows up with a Somersault Senton on to the North American imports too. Back in the ring, the referee finally finds some decorum and it is Lykos in the ring with Lethal. The Dirty Wolf scores a Dropkick and a Running Neckbreaker. He attempts a Japanese Arm Drag but is blasted with the Discus Enzuiguri. Lethal executes a Spinning Spinebuster before tagging out. Aries charges in with repeated stomps to his opponent. The masked high-flyer struggles to find his feet. The continuous offence by The Greatest Man That Ever Lived is overwhelming his opponent. Once Lykos finds his feet, he is dropped with an Inverted Suplex Slam and covered for a two count following a Pendulum Elbow. The victim of this assault tries to crawl over for the tag. His opponent then drags him back in the middle and applies the Last Chancery. The signature submission has been locked on early doors. The flyweight manages to escape the hold but is dragged back in to a Pendulum Backbreaker by Aries. He holds on for a Backbreaker submission whilst Lethal tags himself in. The legal man then hops up to the top rope and pulls off a Diving Elbow Drop for another two count for his team. He then tries to follow up with the Handspring Cutter. On his way back, he is drilled with a Backstabber. Lykos dives to his corner. He gets the tag. Chris Brookes steps in and immediately goes on the offensive. The grappler from the Midlands blasts Lethal with a Roundhouse Kick, pulls off a German Suplex and lines up for his finisher; the Yakuza Kick. The attempt came to early though. The THRIVE invader moves before execution. After tagging out to Aries, his partner immediately cuts his opponent off with a Discus Elbow Smash and then nails a Brainbuster for the third two count for his team. A Double slowly approaches the referee to argue the speed of the count. This gives Brookes time to tag out so he and Lykos can then pull off a Double Rope Hung DDT. The Dirty Wolf follows up with the Lionsault. He dropkicks Lethal off the apron and then dives on the legal man for the cover. The official counts. Kick out just before three. Kid Lykos goes up high again. He signals for the Frog Splash. As he leaps through the air, Lethal quickly rolls away and the masked champ lands hard on the canvas. The heel then capitalises by locking on a Figure-Four Leg Lock. The fans boo but can't help but let out a few 'woo' chants as well. Lykos reaches out for the ropes, Just as he is about to get there, he is nailed with the 450 Splash by Aries who saw it coming. Lethal rolls over to hook the leg. The referee is distracted by A Double though who quickly tries to get out of the ring. Lykos manages to kick out though. Lethal drags him up but is drilled with a Step-Up Enzuiguri and then leaps over for another hot tag to Chris Brookes. He storms in knocking both of his opponents down left, right and centre. Brookes attempts a Springboard Forearm Smash on the legal man however Aries shoves the official in the way of the move. With the referee down, the heels take over. There is a commotion at ringside all of a sudden and the camera soon catches it. Neville has jumped the barrier in a THRIVE t-shirt. The Man That Gravity Forgot grabs a steel chair and it appears that he is about to give the assist to his new colleagues. They hold up Chris Brookes so he can nail them with the chair. The home town wrestlers turns around and looks at the crowd whilst shaking his head. The fans boo back at him as he holds up the weapon to swing. He has a sudden change of heart at the final second and drills both Aries and Lethal with the weapon. The home town boy then rips off his THRIVE t-shirt to reveal a Newcastle football jersey. As he rolls out of the ring to retrieve the referee, The C.C.K regroup and execute the Wheelbarrow Basement Dropkick on Jay Lethal. Brookes hooks the leg. The official eventually counts three. The champions retain the EPW British Tag Team Championships. They also keep the gold in possession of the company. After slowly finding their feet, Neville is the one who hands them the title belts before raising their arms in victory. This place has come unglued. Aries and Lethal are fuming at what has just gone down. They begin to argue amongst each other at ringside before turning their attention to their fellow THRIVE employee; Neville. The Man That Gravity Forgot stares right back at them. You can't help but think this beef is going to carry over from tonight to their new workplace. What will Shane McMahon think about Neville's actions this evening? The C.C.K are eventually left to celebrate the victory on their own. The reign of Brookes and Lykos rolls on and long may it continue. Jennifer Louise is standing by backstage with Joe Coffey, Wolfgang, Noam Dar and Kay Lee Ray. The interviewer plus the upcoming ten week tour of the British Isles which takes place in Wales, Ireland and Scotland. We will get a couple of two-hour special episodes as part of the excursion; EPW Live #105: First Blood In Belfast and EPW Live #110: The Scottish Supershow. She then turns her attention to her guests. Coffey begins by claiming that the four of them were a little down about not being included on the main card tonight. The Iron Man takes us back to the Reloaded pre-show where they were all victorious and declares that they can all work from there. Wolfgang pipes up. The Regulator reminds us that in ten weeks we head to Scotland for the first two-hour special in their home country. Tonight may be the rest of the locker room's biggest night of the year however that is their grandest stage. Noam Dar is next to speak up. The Scottish Supernova's luck has been looking up as of late. He will be looking to prove himself worthy of earning himself a shot at gold at that particular show. Finally, Kay Lee Ray challenges whoever walks out with the EPW British Women's Championship to a match in Scotland. Jennifer Louise thanks the four for their time. They all didn't make it on to the main show tonight but all seem to be looking at bigger and better things in the future. Submission Match Marty Scurll vs. Zack Sabre Jr. The feud between these two kicked off many years ago when The Leaders of the New School broke up. The two have had individual singles success with Zack Sabre Jr. making waves in North America and Japan whilst Marty Scurll became one of the leading wrestlers in their home continent. The Villain decided to cost The Technical Wizard his shot at EPW British Undisputed Championship gold last month which he later explained was because he felt Sabre Jr. was trying to fast track his way to the top ahead of those that really helped rebuild this company. They engaged in a sit down face-to-face interview last week which ended with a tense handshake at the end. Rumours have since circulated that Scurll's contract is set to expire after tonight's episode. He is yet to sign an extension. The inaugural champion makes his way down to boos. The fans in Newcastle are not a fan of the way he has conducted himself in recent weeks. The dastardly heel from Cambridgeshire makes a slow walk down to the ring. Mauro Ranallo and Nigel McGuinness speculate whether this could be the final time he wrestles in an EPW ring as he steps through the ropes and slowly turns to anticipate the entrance of his opponent. Zack Sabre Jr. passes through the curtain to a resounding cheer. He steps in to the squared circle and is welcomed with chants of his name. The two go nose-to-nose for a while before the bell sounds. They eventually lock up and begin to put on a wrestling clinic. Holds are exchanged. The two competitors eventually wind up on the mat. We are treated to a tremendous, fast paced, technical catch as catch can contest in the middle of the ring. Ranallo struggles to call every move. McGuinness is loving every moment of it. Sabre Jr. manages to lock on an Indian Death Lock. Scurll looks for an escape route. In the end he simply sits up and pokes his opponent in the eye to rile up the fans. The referee gives him a warning but he ignores it. Marty decides to target the neck and back of his opponent. He does so with stomps at first before locking on a Rolling Romero Special transitioned in to a traditional Surfboard submission. It is too early for his opponent to quit. He knows this so soon releases the hold and pulls off his first ever finishing move; the Graduation. The Villain now locks on a Camel Clutch. He pulls back quite hard. Any normal man would probably submit however Sabre Jr. counters in to a Propeller Headscissors. Marty sets himself free. As the two come up to a vertical base, the submission specialist from Kent delivers an Arm-Twist Pele Kick. He tries to drag his opponent down in to an Armbreaker but is drilled with a European Uppercut. The inaugural champ follows up with a Running European Uppercut in to the corner, takes him down with the Running Clothesline and then begins to pull back on the fingers. This looks nasty. As he lets go, he tries to stomp on the exposed hand but Sabre Jr. moves his arm before dropping Scurll with the Leg Sweep. He locks on the Muta Lock. This is a hold he picked up from Japan. Marty wriggles around for a way out. He has no success at first until he finds the strength to stand and pull off a Double Leg Stomp. This forces Sabre Jr. to release the submission. Scurll pulls off a Tornado DDT before transitioning in to the Crossface Chickenwing. The fans rise to their feet. The move lands right in the corner which forces the rope break though. The Villain remains in control by chopping down his opponent in the corner. After blasting him with the Just Kidding Superkick, he follows up in to a Front Flip DDT. He tries to lock on a Guillotine Choke. Sabre Jr. responds with several elbows to the skull. The Technical Wizard applies a Modified Seated Octopus Stretch. We haven't seen this hold in an EPW ring before. Ranallo declares that these are the sort of unique submissions that only Zack Sabre Jr. can bring to the table. After Scurll moves around, he finally finds a way to escape. He attempts a Running Soccer Kick right out of his opponent's play book. The former GCW superstar then rolls him in to a School Boy transitioned immediately in to the Crossface Chickenwing. The Villain is tasting his own medicine. He has made many wrestlers submit to this hold over the years but can he withstand it himself? Before he fades away, he hooks his leg over the bottom rope for a break. Sabre Jr. rolls back in to the corner to stalk his prey whilst debating his next move. Marty takes a while to get up to his feet. The Technical Wizard approached him to wring the arm in to a Cross Armbreaker. He is then blasted in the head with a Superkick, nailed with a Cradle Piledriver and then locked in his own finisher. The Cross Armbreaker is applied by Marty Scurll. His opponent refuses to submit though. The Villain makes a vital mistake trying to transition in to his own finisher; the Crossface Chickenwing. Sabre Jr. rolls out of the hold during the transition. He then nails his enemy with the Running Soccer Kick and begins to stomp down repeatedly on the right arm. Eventually The Technical Wizard locks on the Cross Armbreaker. Enough damage has been done. Scurll won't tap yet though. He tries to roll out however Sabre Jr. has it covered and switches in to a Fujiwara Armbar. The Villain submits. Zack Sabre Jr. is victorious. His music plays as the finishing hold is released. The winner is helped up by the referee. These two men gave it there all. The submission specialist from Kent is cheered by the crowd however he looks down to see his former friend slowly climbing up clutching his arm. He respectfully leaves the ring when medics come down to check on his opponent. His arm could be seriously hurt. Once they do check on Marty, he pushes them away and grabs his umbrella from ringside. The first champion of the modern era looks around at the fans who are now giving him a round of applause. His future may be uncertain but he put on a hell of a show tonight. The Villain finally confirms his future by unfolding his umbrella which displays the words 'THANK YOU' on it. The Metro Radio explodes with a 'thank you Marty' chant. Ranallo and McGuinness both stand too to give him a round of applause. It appears that the rumours are true. He leaves his trademark fur coat and sunglasses in front of the umbrella too before leaving the ring. A true legend has left the English Pro Wrestling ring for now but the question is; will he ever return? Edited by UK-Joe, Mar 3 2018, 04:02 PM.

Fit Finlay, Dave Taylor and Robbie Brookside are looking around the backstage area. They were ordered by William Regal earlier tonight to soften up Pete Dunne before the main event. The security team are looking in every room and asking various wrestlers if they have seen him. Finlay has his shillelagh. Taylor has a spanner. Brookside has a lead pipe. They obviously intend on doing some real damage on behalf of the commissioner. The Belfast Bruiser instructs the other two to split up because they're having no luck finding him. As they do, The Bruiserweight wipes Finlay out of nowhere with the sledgehammer. You can hear the cheers from the arena backstage. Taylor and Brookside quickly rush back to the scene. The Squire receives a shot to the stomach and then one to the spine before The Wildcat is choked out by the trademark weapon. The #1 contender then dumps all three on top of each other. The longest reigning champion of the modern era looks to become a two-time champion later on and he isn't going to let any thing stand in his way. Six Man Tag Team Elimination Match Big Damo, Joe Hendry & Nathan Cruz vs. Drew Galloway, Trent Seven & El Ligero The Corporate Entourage have been a force to be reckoned with since William Regal decided that it was time to rule over the company with an iron fist and enlist the help of wrestlers on the roster to help him dish out his authority. There is no room for failure within the faction though as both Iestyn Rees and Dave Mastiff found out. They not only found themselves being disassociated from the group but also fired from English Pro Wrestling altogether. Joe Hendry returned from injury to align himself with the boss. Big Damo followed suit when he lost the EPW British Undisputed Championship and wanted to ensure he remained in the title picture for the foreseeable future. Drew Galloway was offered a place on the corporate team however turned it down. We soon saw Nathan Cruz jump him from behind to take that very spot that was offered to him. Galloway decided it was time to stand up against this new stable of heels and sought out Trent Seven to side with him. El Ligero also joined forces with them after Joe Hendry beat him to a pulp with a steel chair several weeks ago. This six man tag team match was made to settle this war. The Corporate Entourage enter together to the sound of 'Regality' by Jim Johnston. They were told earlier by the commissioner that failure is not an option. Trent Seven is the first of his team to walk out to cheers from the sell-out crowd. The Bombardier of Battery stops at the bottom of the aisle and can be seen arguing with Nathan Cruz who is leaning over the ropes pointing him out. El Ligero walks out to chants of his name. We have seen a much darker side of the high-flyer since his return at EPW Live #93. His all black ring attire and no-nonsense style in the ring are just a couple of indicators of that. 'Wish It Away' by Psyko Dalek signifies the arrival of the team captain; Drew Galloway. The Celtic Colossus marches down the aisle looking like a leader that's for sure. The babyface team eventually step up in to the ring and the official orders both teams to pick a legal man. Ligero expresses that he wants Hendry. The cocky Scotsman agrees to the request. He schools The Masked Sensation in the early stages with holds on the mat. The pace quickens up which favours Ligero and he pulls off a Headscissors Takedown. The Prestigious One then tags out. Nathan Cruz comes in, goes for a Clothesline and is sent down with a Wheelbarrow Bulldog. The high-flyer then pulls off a Standing Moonsault for a one count. The Prima Donna is angered. He tags in Big Damo. Oh dear. This is a different story for Ligero. He is immediately tossed in to the corner and nailed with several overhand chops. The Beast From Belfast launches him across the ring by the throat. Trent Seven tags himself in. The brawler from Birmingham locks up with Damo. The 320lb beast forces Seven in to the corner. The Bombardier of Battery responds with a stiff overhand chop which does nothing to the big man. He then attempts a Falling Neckbreaker but is shoved in to the ropes and blasted with a Headbutt on the rebound. Damo executes a Powerbomb, an Elbow Drop and a Running Senton for his team. The beat down continues when Joe Hendry is tagged back in. The Prestigious One launches his opponent in to the turnbuckles with a Fallaway Slam for a two count. As he goes for the Olympic Slam, Trent battles back with some elbows before running the ropes to nail a Running Lariat for a near fall. Drew Galloway is tagged in and he looks like he means business. Hendry falls victim to a Big Boot, a Vertical Suplex and the Scot Drop for a near fall. He then goes for the Future Shock DDT. Cruz rushes in to break it up the move. Ligero then wipes out The Prima Donna with a Springboard Dropkick. Amongst all of the distraction, Hendry rolls up Galloway in to a School Boy. The heavyweight kicks out. He pushes out of an Ankle Lock attempt to finally nail the Future Shock DDT for a three count. The babyfaces have a 3-on-2 advantage. This causes an angry Big Damo to charge in and wipe out Galloway with a Running Low Crossbody. Galloway tags out. In walks Trent Seven who doesn't have much more luck than his partner. Damo drops him with a Rolling Fireman's Carry Slam, lands on him with a Running Senton and executes the Lifting Inverted DDT for a three count. The odds are evened. El Ligero bravely flies in for a Diving Crossbody. He is caught and slammed right in to the canvas. The high-flyer from Mexico is forced is endure a Corner Slingshot Splash and the Ulster Plantation before being pinned himself for the three. Drew Galloway is the only man left on his team now. The Celtic Colossus hesitantly steps in to the ring. Nathan Cruz decides to tag himself in and tells his huge partner that he's got this. The Prima Donna ducks a Big Boot. He nails a Running Chop Block to take Galloway down to one knee. The Newcastle fans boo as Cruz takes to the top rope for a Diving Double Knee Facebreaker. As he dives, Galloway avoids the move and kicks him in the gut. Cruz is dropped with the Future Shock DDT. Damo tries to climb in to intervene but is dropped with the Claymore to send him falling to ringside. Galloway pins Cruz. The referee counts. We hit three and it's Galloway vs. Damo. The two heavyweights meet in the ring. They trade stiff strikes before Damo throws his opponent in to the corner. Galloway responds with another Claymore for a two count. The Beast From Belfast kicked out with authority. He runs forward for a Running Corner Splash and misses again. The Celtic Colossus drops Big Damo with the Future Shock DDT. The valiant babyface has already put two men away with his finisher. The crowd count along with the pinfall. Damo kicks out at the very last second. As the two find their feet, Galloway goes for the gut kick so he can hit his finisher once again. The big man catches it and lifts him straight up in to an Electric Chair position. He drops him with the Ulster Plantation before transitioning in to the Cu Chullain's Wrath. Galloway has nowhere to go. He refuses to tap out but is being rag dolled. Eventually he fades. The Corporate Entourage are awarded the win. Big Damo stands tall in the ring with a scowl on his face whilst looking down at his fallen opponent. Drew Galloway fought bravely. There was no way out of the Cu Chullain's Wrath though. The Beast From Belfast steps out of the ring and walks up the aisle with the camera fixated on him. He single handedly did William Regal's bidding tonight. What will his reward be? Jennifer Louise is standing by in the backstage area with The Sanguinary. Firstly she asks Jimmy Havoc about how he felt things went down earlier tonight in his match with Jack Gallagher. The King of the Goths is not happy and he declares that he isn't done yet with The Extraordinary Gentleman. He knows his rival may think he's in heaven right now after such a huge victory but he promises that he will be lying in the very depths of hell once he's done with him. Bram nods in approval. We then move our attention on to Mark Haskins. The EPW British Undisputed Champion is asked what his strategy is going in to what many believe to be the toughest title defence of his reign so far. The Hellbent Anti-Hero will not be revealing his 'game plan' ahead of the biggest match of his career. What he can reveal is the outcome of the match and that is Pete Dunne lying in a pool of his own blood whilst the greatest champion that this company's ever seen stands over him with his belt still over his shoulder. Haskins warns The Bruiserweight that he can go around beating up old retired wrestlers turned corporate stooges in the back but it's a different story stepping in to the squared circle with the best wrestler in the world. He finally declares that when the dust settles, English Pro Wrestling will belong to The Sanguinary. The group walk off before the interviewer can even thank them for their time. No DQ Match for the EPW British Women's Championship Awesome Kong (c) vs. Viper William Regal proclaimed that he had lost his faith in the women's locker room several weeks ago. The commissioner then brought in Awesome Kong to challenge for the title and she successfully beat Dahlia Black in her debut outing to win the gold. Viper immediately expressed her frustrations at the authority's treatment of the division by charging down to confront the new champion. The two have brawled on several occasions since with The Vixen of Violence sending The Mean Queen over the ropes during a Battle Royal to become #1 contender. The two rivals now go to war with the belt at stake. Viper has the support of the Newcastle fans. Her eyes are fixated on the reigning champion when she makes her way down the aisle. Once Kong steps in, the competitors go face-to-face with Jessika Carr trying to separate the two giants. The match begins with a lock up. They went back and forth for a while. The champ forces the challenger in to the corner and blasts her opponent with a Spinning Backfist. Viper is rattled. Kong then hammers her in the ribs with several knees to the gut before sending her opponent in to the canvas with a Scoop Slam. She then runs the ropes to try and follow up with a Running Clothesline. The #1 contender ducks and pulls off a Back Suplex to a roar from the crowd. Kong looks rocked that she has been lifted in such a manner. As she steps back up, her anger shows when she fires back with punches. Viper tries to grab her in a headlock. The two topple down through the ropes and the brawl spills to ringside. The challenger attempts a Running Spear in to the barricade. Kong grabs her though and then slams her on to the floor with a Belly-To-Belly Suplex. She then rolls her in to follow up with a Running Leg Drop for a two count. The North American import looks to gather some weapons to exploit the No DQ stipulation. Kong throws in a kendo stick, a steel chair and a table. After drilling Viper in the back several times with the kendo stick, the champ wedges the chair between the turnbuckles and attempts to throw her in to the corner. Viper reverses it. Kong lands back first in to the steel. The challenger follows up with a Half Nelson Bulldog for a two count of her own. She goes for a Running Seated Senton however her opponent rolls to the side to avoid the move. The champ sets up the table in the corner and attempts a Powerbomb through it. Viper escapes but is blasted with another Spinning Backfist. Kong executes a Two-Handed Choke Bomb. She slowly climbs up the ropes with a Diving Splash in mind. The champ leaps through the air. After landing hard on Viper, the leg is hooked but the #1 contender kicks out once again. The Mean Queen carries on her onslaught by applying a Camel Clutch. Viper is in pain with nowhere to go. The crowd will her on to turn the tables. She eventually does by powering out. The heavyweight from Scotland claws back the momentum with a Shoulder Block, a Hip Toss and a Running Powerslam. The #1 contender climbs up top herself. She then dives off with a Moonsault. The fans are in awe and are shocked. Viper hooks the leg. Jessika Carr counts. Kong kicks out just before three. The match rolls on but everybody is still surprised by the previous move. The challenger attempts the Viper Driver. The Mean Queen escapes and boots her adversary in the gut. She hooks the arm, lifts her and then dunks her with the Implant Buster. The leg is hooked once again however the #1 contender gets a shoulder up at the final moment. This contest has been all out bell to bell. The crowd are certainly on their feet as Kong pulls Viper off the canvas. It looks as if she is going to lift her up in to the Accordion Rack. She does. The hold is applied. Viper is in pain and is then transitioned in to a Sitout Backbreaker Rack Slam. Another pin follows. Another kick out. The Vixen of Violence is showing no ounce of quit. Kong pulls over the table and is about to attempt the Powerbomb through the table. The challenger fights back with a thrust in to the turnbuckles. She sits Kong up on the ropes. The two trade some blows however Viper gets the best of it and puts her through the table from the second rope with the Viper Driver. Both women lay motionless amongst the wood. The challenger slowly rolls her arm over for the cover. Jessika Carr counts three. We have ourselves a new EPW British Women's Champion. Viper was put through the rigger this evening but finds her feet after a minute or so to be handed her newly won piece of gold. She is finally back at the top of the mountain. Awesome Kong slowly rolls out to ringside whilst her opponent celebrates in front of a cheering crowd. The belt is back around the waist of an English Pro Wrestling superstar. Once the wreckage has been cleared from the ring, the voice of Josh Bodom is heard over the arena. The Blonde Bomber passes through the curtain to delay the main event. He demands the booing crowd shut up before telling them he has had just about enough of being mistreated. Bodom is going to take control of his own destiny and informs us that he is holding a personal strike in the ring until he is finally shown some respect. The Newcastle fans shower him with 'YOU'RE A DICKHEAD' chants. He talks over them which only riles them up even more. 'Oxyacetylene' by Cubanate echoes around the arena to a giant pop in the Metro Radio Arena. Ethan Hayze passes through the curtain. The first-ever champion in company history makes his way down the aisle. As his music dies down, the arrogant heel in the ring yells at 'the old timer' to climb in to the ring with him so he can embarrass him on the biggest stage of them all. The Heat takes his jacket off and begins to step on to the steel steps when another legendary figure appears behind Bodom. It is Martin Stone. The last we saw of The Guvnor was when he retired after being defeated by Big Damo several months ago. The brawler from London pulls Bodom round, blasts him with a European Uppercut and then drops him with a Running Lariat. Hayze soon joins Stone in the ring. He drops Bodom with his finisher; the Reverse Death Valley Driver. The crowd pop once again at the sound of 'Written In My Face' by Sean Jenness. Sheamus O'Shaunessy stomps down the aisle for the first time in English Pro Wrestling's modern era with a big grin on his face. Stone and Hayze have picked up Bodom from the canvas and The Irish Curse drills him with the Brogue Kick. He follows up with the Running Crucifix Powerbomb. In the mean time, Alex Shane and Doug Williams have made their way down to join the fray. The Showstealer clocks the disrespectful youngster with a Big Boot before The Anarchist executes the Chaos Theory out of the corner. The five company legends all stand tall to end the segment. Mauro Ranallo states that if English Pro Wrestling had a hall of fame then these five would all be inductees. Nigel McGuinness calls this an unofficial ceremony before commenting that it's great to see these five turn up to the biggest show of the calendar year. EPW British Undisputed Championship Mark Haskins (c) (with Vicky Haskins) vs. Pete Dunne Now it is time for our main event of the evening. Without argument this is one of the biggest matches in company history. We are treated to a hype video prior to the entrances to the sound of 'The Great Escape' by We Are Scientists. Mark Haskins took every shortcut possible on his journey to title gold. The Hellbent Anti-Hero goaded Travis Banks in to putting the Battle For The Briefcase on the line at EPW Live #90: When The Saints March In, cheated to win the match and then cashed in once Big Damo and Rampage Brown were down beating the hell out of one another. He was lucky to escape with the belt in his first defence against Zack Sabre Jr. with outside interference from Marty Scurll. Vicky Haskins is also always there to lend her husband a hand when needed and the champion has aligned himself with Jimmy Havoc and Bram to form The Sanguinary. It is safe to say that he has his fair share of contingency plans. Pete Dunne's road to this match has been extremely different. After dropping the title one year ago at EPW Live #50: This Is England, he found himself without a contract and surprisingly no other employment opportunities after his previous behaviour during his reign as champion. The Bruiserweight had to find a way back in and did just that by returning as the surprise partner of his brother Damien Dunne to win the EPW British Tag Team Championships. Ever since he has been on a mission to reclaim his spot at the top of the company despite repeated backlash from William Regal. The commissioner has sunk to new depths to keep his arch-rival from climbing the ladder and we have certainly seen a much darker side from the boss. In the mean time, the crowd's support for Dunne has grown in recent months to the point where he is easily the most over wrestler on the roster. This has only riled Regal up even more. The brawler from Birmingham is going to have to take this opportunity because this could be the only chance of getting back the top spot. He enters to a tremendous ovation from the Newcastle fans. Dunne stomps down the aisle with his trademark scowl over his face. Once he steps in the ring, he turns immediately and awaits the arrival of his opponent. 'Purple City' by Joker & Ginz is heard over the arena speakers. Out from the back walks Mark Haskins with his wife by his side and the EPW British Undisputed Championship strapped around his waist. The leader of The Sanguinary slowly saunters down the ramp but appears reluctant to get in at first. He eventually does and the two warriors go nose-to-nose in the middle of the ring. Referee Chris Roberts separates them. They eventually head back to their corner so that Jim Smallman can introduce them. It is revealed that the match will conducted under Regal's Rules in favour of Mark Haskins. The challenger argues the decision with the referee who seems unaware of the ruling. The champion begins to smile to himself and laughs at the #1 contender who scowls back at him. This is straight up not fair. There is no doubt our corrupt commissioner is behind this. After the ring introductions are done, the bell rings and the two lock up. They exchange some holds in the early stages. Dunne eventually bends back the fingers of Haskins to force him down to the canvas and then nails him with a Double Knee Drop to the spine. He tries to apply the Single Leg Crab however The Hellbent Anti-Hero pushes away. The Bruiserweight throws a Clothesline. Haskins ducks and executes a Spinning Spinebuster. He then mounts his adversary to nail him with several elbows to the skull. Whilst Dunne climbs to his feet, his rival then charges at him to clock him with a Running Dropkick in to the corner. The reigning champ follows up with a Monkey Flip. His wife applauds while the crowd shower him with boos. Haskins picks Dunne up again. This time the #1 contender battles back with punches. He hops up and then pulls his enemy down to the canvas in to a Kimura Lock. The hold is applied. The renegade only gets his opponent down to one knee though. Haskins manages to stagger back in to the middle rope for a break eventually. After Dunne releases, The Hellbent Anti-Hero nails him with a Running Knee Strike to send him out through the ropes. He quickly follows up with a Suicide Dive under the middle rope before grabbing a nearby steel chair and launching it at Dunne. The chair wraps around the head of The Bruiserweight. He then shoves him neck first in to the ring post causing the bottom rung of the chair to choke the challenger. Haskins tries to keep Dunne out of the ring for as long as possible because he knows that only his opponent can get counted out under Regal's Rules. At the nine count, Dunne forges a comeback with a Running Headbutt out of nowhere and then sprints back to the ring to save himself. Haskins climbs up on to the apron. Dunne quickly grabs him and drags the champion back in to the ring to ensure the momentum stays in his favour. He delivers an Enzuiguri, a Back Suplex and a Sliced Bread #2 all in quick succession to whip the crowd in to a frenzy. The champion slowly climbs up. The challenger appears to be sizing up for his finisher; the Bitter End. Suddenly Jimmy Havoc and Bram jog down to the ring to get involved. The King of the Goths picks up the steel chair from ringside. He drills Dunne in the back with it before the muscle of the group executes the Brighter Side of Suffering. They then help their associate to his feet so he can lock on the Low Sharpshooter in the middle. The rest of The Sanguinary decide to leave with the damage being done. Haskins has his finishing submission applied and this match sure looks like it could be over. Dunne won't give up though. He finds the strength to pull himself to the bottom rope which causes Havoc and Bram to begin marching back down. Before they re-enter the ring, Dunne drops Haskins with the Pedigree and escapes the ring. They go to chase him but he has pulled the sledgehammer from under the ring. Havoc steps back. Bram approaches. He is clattered by the weapon and falls in a heap at ringside. Havoc grabs the steel chair from earlier. The King of the Goths swings it, misses and then is belted with the sledgehammer in the skull himself. Dunne now looks to turn his attention back to the match. Haskins has recovered though. He jumps Dunne from behind and then launches him over the announcer's desk. The Bruiserweight climbs back over but is pulled on top of the table by the champion. The Hellbent Anti-Hero has the #1 contender in position. He pulls him up and puts him through the table with a Leaping Piledriver. Haskins rolls Dunne back in the ring with a desperate look on his face. He hooks the leg. Chris Roberts counts. The challenger kicks out just before three. As Haskins holds his head in his hands debating what he can do to put his opponent away, the mood turns sour as William Regal marches down the aisle looking like he means business. He hands in the champion the brass knuckles. The Hellbent Anti-Hero smiles back at the boss before stalking his prey for the Power of the Punch. As he charges forward, Dunne saves himself at the final moment and clocks his opponent with a Pop-Up European Uppercut. William Regal panics and steps up on to the apron. Pete Dunne sends him crashing back down to ringside with a Slingshot Apron DDT. The crowd go nuts as their favourite rebel gets back in the ring. He executes the Bitter End on the champ. The leg is hooked. The referee counts. Haskins kicks out just before three. This intense main event rolls on but for how much longer. The challenger locks on the Regal Stretch which gets a huge cheer from the crowd. The champ struggles. He holds on for as long as he can. Just as he taps out, Regal begins to roll back in to the ring and is forced to watch from close up as his arch-rival has won the title with his own finishing hold. Pete Dunne is the new EPW British Undisputed Champion. The Corporate Entourage begin to make their way down the aisle to put a beating on him but he is too quick for them. The commissioner is kicked between the legs by Dunne and he quickly escapes the ring to retrieve his newly won title from ringside. Damo, Hendry, Cruz, Finlay, Taylor and Brookside all chase him. The Bruiserweight hops over the barricade to make a hasty exit. Meanwhile, Jimmy Havoc & Bram are knocked out at ringside and William Regal is holding his crotch in the ring. The closing image of the show is Pete Dunne holding up his newly won belt amongst the fans in the bleachers as his number of rivals are forced to watch on. |

Solid way to open the main show. Wasn't sure who would get the W here given the names, but nothing wrong with the face going over here. Regal seems to have things in control at the start of things, though I got the feeling it's only a matter of time before he loses it. Just when TK's luck improve he gets kicked in the dick. A bit surprised TK was willing to put things behind him and make up with banks. Them reuniting as a team would have been nice, but I guess it's the end of things for good. Hopefully TK can use the win for some momentum...even though he didn't look like one after Banks got done with him. Wondering what Bodom has planned for later on... Didn't think the CCK would drop the gold, especially with the trade thread confirming Lethal and Aries departure (was more shocked by the third name on that list, will go into it late). Not sure if this the result would have been the same if Scurll wasn't on his way out. Don't get me wrong, Sabre Jr. deserves a win of this magnitude, and I'm glad he got it, but Marty has that EPW Guy vibe. Looks like Dunne had a feeling what was going to happen and got them before they could get him. Bet Regal won't be please to hear about this. Close one with the elimination tag. Both sides could have won it with who was left, but Big Damo did what he does best (even if he lost the falls I had a feeling he would have taken Galloway out post bell) and came out on top. With Kong's contract only being a touring one I didn't see her leaving with the belt (nor saw a potential last minute signing of her to a main contract coming), however she made Viper earn it, giving the new champ her toughest challenge to date. Good build up for this match from start to finish, well done. The question now is where does Viper go from here? She regained the gold, but who will be the first to challenge her and how dominate she'll look remains to be seen. Looking forward to see how she goes forward. Feel bad for Bodom getting hit butt handed to him like that. Reminds me of Heath Slater getting shafted on Raw 1000. Even if he is a dickhead he didn't deserve all of that...half of it maybe. At least the veterans got some camera time, and Ranallo and McGinness' statement on if EPW had a hall of fame is accurate. As big of a jerk Regal's been lately it was good to see him take a bump from the slingshot apron ddt (too bad it wasn't him being a competitor in a match...maybe he'll pull the 'if you want something right you have to do it yourself' card later?), then sacked post-bell. Plus with Dunne winning the bout with one of Regal's move is even more added insult to a rough night for the boss. Wondering how Regal will respond, but for now, the night belongs to Dunne. |

Hot opener to kick off the show, with an interesting clash of styles. Glad Gallagher got the win, and pairing of Bram and Jimmy Havoc is pretty great, tbh. Banks/Cooper was excellent stuff. I'm a sucker for a proper former team mates collide. I was shocked to see TK pull off the upset, but he needed the win more than Banks. Tag Title match was great. tons of twists and turns, and there were moments where I thought we were gonna see a title change. That would've broken my heart. CCK have been killer champs in EPW. Glad that Neville got to show that British brotherhood is stronger than a contract. I totally thought he was going to help Lethal and Aries but glad that wasn't the case. The odd pairing of Lethal & Aries was neat, and I'd be so down for them being a full time team in Thrive. Scurll/Sabre was a wonderful display of technical wizardry. These two compliment one another extremely well, and it's always hard for me to pick a favorite between them. Despite losing and the aftermath of the match, I'm really, REALLY hoping that Marty isn't done with EPW. He was the man in EPW, and can't see him anywhere else. You write his character extremely well. Sabre in an EPW ring just feels right, and hopefully with this win it isn't long for him to move up the ranks. Hell yes, that elimination six man tag was non-stop action. Love Damo being booked like the killer that he rightfully should. That guy has become one of my favorites not only in EPW, but in real life. He's just such an awesome big man brute. I really like this Corporate Entourage with Regal as the evil authority figure. And Galloway is a perfect hero to stand up to the group, but tonight just wasn't the night for him. As Damo is just too much of a monster. Viper v. Kong was an absolute war between two brooding women. I loved it, and have never seen or read a women's match like that. Good stuff. Viper has become a favorite of mine since her MYC showing last year. She's just such a likable character, and Kong was a great foil for her tonight. Despite such a short reign, i think Kong motivated the womens division to step up. Looking forward to seeing where the division goes next. Great segment with the EPW legends beating up Bodom. A good buffer between the previous match and the main event. The main event truly deserved to be the main event on your biggest show of the year. Dunne's road to the title, the rise of Haskins being a main eventer, and William Regal doing everything in his power to not let history repeat itself with Dunne being champ again. Great match with the perfect cast to tell the story. Was that Regal's first bump in EPW?!?! If so that was one brutal first bump to take. And the finish was perfect, with Dunne using the Regal Stretch to add insult to Regal's injury. Cannot wait where this goes, and am really hoping we get a Regal v. Dunne match sometime in EPW. Overall: This felt like the biggest show of the year, which is something you do a great job with on a consistent basis with these titled episodes. Not a single bad thing on the card. It was a rough night for Regal and The Corporate Entourage, but the night wasn't a total bust as their Beast (Damo) is still looking strong heading out of the show. I also think Sabre left the evening with rights of claiming himself as #1 Contender, but Haskins is probably wanting a rematch sooner than later. The main event heavyweight division is very intriguing after the show. Really hoping that Marty's farewell was a more "See ya later" rather than "Goodbye". Killer show as always Joe. |
