EPW Live #101

The broadcast begins with a recap of last week's three-hour special showing Pete Dunne finally winning back the EPW British Undisputed Championship from Mark Haskins despite outside interference from The Sanguinary and commissioner William Regal. We also saw Viper overcome Awesome Kong to become the new EPW British Women's Champion, The C.C.K retain their EPW British Tag Team Championships, The Corporate Entourage defeated the team of Drew Galloway, El Ligero & Trent Seven in a Six Man Tag Team Elimination Match, Marty Scurll announced his farewell from the company following a losing effort against Zack Sabre Jr., Josh Bodom was taught a lesson in the ring by a number of legends, TK Cooper got back to winning ways by pinning former friend turned bitter enemy Travis Banks and Jack Gallagher beat Jimmy Havoc in singles action. Tonight's show comes to you live from Cardiff's Motorpoint Arena in the first leg of our tour of the United Kingdom. 4,500 fans have sold out the venue. Mauro Ranallo and Nigel McGuinness are behind the broadcast table to welcome us the viewers at home. They comment on what a history making event last week's episode before reminding us that there is no off season for a wrestler in this day and age. The action continues tonight as English Pro Wrestling continues to expand its brand in to Wales.

William Regal appears on the video screen from his office. The commissioner is sat behind his desk with a scowl on his face and the rest of The Corporate Entourage are seen standing behind him as the camera pans back. He admits that regardless of the result of the main event, he was happy with how things went down at EPW Live #100: This Is England 2 and this company has come on leaps and bounds since the relaunch two years ago. There is no denying that English Pro Wrestling is a bigger entity than it ever has been. Regal announces that this means it is time to expand the playing field. The current EPW British Undisputed Championship will soon become the EPW World Undisputed Championship with scheduled title defences in North America's XCW, THRIVE and Revolution Wrestling promotions in the weeks ahead. With this going down, the boss has taken it upon himself to add not just one but two new title belts to the mix; the EPW British Atlas Championship and the EPW British Junior Championship. The first can be won by any wrestler on the roster of or over the 205lb weight class. The latter will be contested by talent under that weight. He slowly places both belt on to the desk in front of him before revealing that the first round of the EPW British Junior Championship Tournament will take place tonight with the first round of the other title taking place on next week's episode. Regal then finally wishes all the participants the best of luck in their matches.

Zack Sabre Jr. vs. Jimmy Havoc (with Bram)
This is a first round match in the EPW British Junior Championship Tournament. These two had mixed success on last week's episode. Zack Sabre Jr. managed to score a submission victory over long-term rival Marty Scurll. The Technical Wizard is given a warm welcome by the Welsh crowd as he enters. He takes to the ropes to salute them. On the other hand, Jimmy Havoc found himself on the losing end of his match with Jack Gallagher in last week's opening contest. The King of the Goths found himself the victim of the Achilles Lock despite earlier help from Bram. His associate follows him down to ringside and lingers in the corner looking for an opportunity to get involved. Sabre Jr. controls the early stages with some flawless holds on the canvas. Havoc eventually fights back with a rake to the eyes and the official warns him that this behaviour will eventually result in a disqualification if he carries on. The death match specialist from Dartford shoves him away before dropping his opponent with a Roaring Elbow for a two count. The match continues with the heel in control. After laying in some grounded offence, he is tripped with a Dragon Screw Leg Whip and the Indian Death Lock is applied. The King Of The Goths searches for the ropes. He looks like he might tap out. Bram decides to climb up on to the apron to distract the referee. As the official approaches him to give the big man his marching orders, Sabre Jr. releases the hold and clocks Bram with a Step-Up Enzuiguri to send him down to ringside. The move may have fended off the outside interference however Havoc quickly capitalises. He catches up with his opponent and drops him back first on to the apron with a Death Valley Driver. After rolling him back in, he hooks the leg. The referee counts two. The well-travelled technician kicks out before the three. The babyface then makes a brave comeback with a Running Headscissors, a European Uppercut and a Snap Suplex. He then goes to apply his finisher; the Cross Armbreaker. We saw Marty Scurll submit those this very move last week. Mark Haskins then rushes in to nail a Low Blow on The Technical Wizard for the DQ. The disgraced former champion mounts Sabre Jr. and begins to reign down on him with repeated elbows to the faces. He lost his title last week to Pete Dunne and it appears he is taking out his frustrations right here. Vicky Haskins has strolled down to watch up close from ringside. The Hellbent Anti-Hero is soon joined by the rest of The Sanguinary. Bram has a steel chair. As he and Havoc grab the victim by his arms, Haskins takes the chair and swings it upwards with evil intentions. 'The Squid and The Wolf' by Hot Tag Media Works blares over the speakers as the letters 'C.C.K' appear on the video screen. Chris Brookes and Kid Lykos sprint down the aisle to even the odds but The Sanguinary decide to retreat from the ring before they get there. The EPW British Tag Team Champions help Zack Sabre Jr. up to his feet. He thanks them for making the save but the three of them notice the villainous foursome yelling at them from the ramp. Chris Brookes grabs a microphone and suggests a Six Man Tag Team Match between the two sides next week. There is no answer. If we know The Sanguinary, they will be down for a war though. Zack Sabre Jr. advances to the semi finals of the tournament but probably not in the fashion he chose to do so. The babyface trio play to the crowd as we head to our first break.

Jennifer Louise has caught up with The Sanguinary who were just involved in a melee with Zack Sabre Jr. and The C.C.K. The interviewer mentions Chris Brookes challenging them to a Six Man Tag Team Match next week and asks them whether they will be accepting the challenge. A frustrated Mark Haskins expresses that they will take them next week on the condition that they get a future EPW British Tag Team Championship shot should they win. The Hellbent Anti-Hero continues that he may not have gold around his waist as of last week however he doesn't intend on that lasting very long. Jimmy Havoc then pipes up and claims that their mission is about more than pieces of gold that we're told to believe are worth something. He then declares though that it may take relieving Brookes and Lykos of their belts to show them and everybody watching exactly how dangerous the three of them are. Bram is the last of the trio to talk. The Chesterfield Plague simply warns Zack Sabre Jr. that he may have advanced in the tournament on a technicality however he intends on leaving him with no alternative but to drop out of the tournament once he's done with him next week.

Jack Gallagher vs. Josh Bodom
This is the second first round match in the EPW British Junior Championship Tournament. Last week's episode was a humiliating experience for Josh Bodom. The Blonde Bomber was confronted by several legends and was taught a lesson by them all in front of the sell-out crowd. He gets an opportunity to turn things around for himself though with a spot in this title tournament. As he walks down to the ring, he yells in to a camera that this will be the turning point for him and there's not a wrestler in the locker room that can stop him from getting gold around his waist. 'Toreador' is heard over the arena speakers. Jack Gallagher is his opponent and passes through the curtain to a roar from the fans in attendance. This time last year, The Extraordinary Gentleman was in possession of title gold himself. He will no doubt be looking to begin another rise to the top of the card again by going all the way in this tournament. The former EPW British National Champion has a firm grip on the opening minutes of the contest. The two engage in some mat wrestling but Gallagher is the driving force. Bodom is raging at being tied up in to an Over-Rotated Delfin Clutch and then kicked in the buttocks. The crowd love it. As he scrambles up to a vertical base, he is drilled with a European Uppercut and then spun round with an Airplane Spin. Gallagher then takes to the ropes. The Extraordinary Gentleman dives through the air for a Swandive Headbutt. His opponent manages to move at the final moment and then drops him with a Leg Drop Bulldog. The Blonde Bomber follows up with repeated stomps in the corner. With the former champ in his clutches, Bodom rag dolls him with a Sleeper Hold and his opponent begins to fade. The Welsh fans chant the name of Jack Gallagher whilst he slowly attempts a come back. He eventually delivers a Drop Toe Hold, a Running Seated Dropkick and then locks on the Achilles Lock in the middle of the ring. The finishing hold is applied. The cocky rookie scrambles for an escape route. After debating whether to submit or not, Bodom manages to stretch out far enough to grab the bottom rope. The submission is released via the rope break. Bodom slowly climbs up in the corner. In the mean time, Jack Gallagher sizes him up for the Gentleman's Dropkick in the corner. He charges forward, leaps through the air and Josh Bodom moves. The Blonde Bomber has torn the top turnbuckle pad off as he avoided the move sending his opponent crashing in to the exposed metal. The fans boo. The arrogant opportunist quickly hangs Gallagher feet first on the middle ropes and executes his finisher; the Bliss Buster. He hooks the leg. The referee counts and we reach three. Josh Bodom wins. The Blonde Bomber is in a state of shock as his arm is raised. He will advance to the next round of the EPW British Junior Championship. Bodom takes great delight in rubbing his victory in the fan's faces whilst his opponent stirs on the canvas. The rookie eventually leaves with a grin on his face. Gallagher looks angry with himself but cannot be happy about the manner in which the bout ended.

The music of Viper plays to a cheer from the fans in Cardiff. The arena lets out a giant roar as the new EPW British Women's Champion steps out from behind the curtain with her newly won gold over her shoulder. She walks down the aisle and steps in to the ring before being passed a microphone. As the crowd chant her name, she nods her head in approval and then lifts the belt above her head. The Vixen Of Violence declares that she has had to wait several months to get back this belt. She has had to fight through everybody on the roster but every battle she has gone through has been worth it. The women's division will reach new heights with her as champion if she has anything to do with it. In the past we have seen champions that have shied away from challenge however she will be a fighting champion and will put her belt on the line against any woman who wants to step in to the ring with her. The crowd still haven't stopped chanting her name. Viper has a huge grin on her face. As she looks up at the stage, Kay Lee Ray has led Dahlia Black, Laura Di Matteo, Xia Brookside, Bea Priestley and Nixon Newell out on to the stage. The Killer tells her former nemesis that they are all proud that the new champion stood up to Awesome Kong to save the division that they all helped build. They all will be requesting title shots in the coming weeks but she tells Viper that tonight that ring is hers. Her music plays once again. The new champion takes to each turnbuckle to celebrate to the cheering crowd.

Will Ospreay vs. Zack Gibson
This is our third first round match in the EPW British Junior Championship Tournament. Both of these men were left off of the main card last week so will be looking to make their mark. Will Ospreay has been resting some minor injuries. The commentary team inform us that he is back to full health though and this title is tailor made for a competitor such as himself. The Aerial Assassin gets a positive reaction from the fans as 'Elevated' by It Lives, It Breaths plays. He is interrupted by the sound of Zack Gibson's horrible scouse accent. Liverpool's Number One has a microphone in hand whilst he trots down the aisle and blames the English Pro Wrestling management for his recent lack of spotlight. He also claims that if William Regal had any sense then he would be the centre piece of The Corporate Entourage. Gibson finally declares himself soon to be recognised as the EPW British Junior Champion. The tall all-rounder from Liverpool immediately decks Ospreay after stepping in to the ring. This gives him the advantage in the early stages. He proceeds to chop, punch and kick his vulnerable opponent in the corner before delivering a Bridging German Suplex for a two count. The high-flyer from Essex doesn't get a chance to breath as he climbs to his feet. Gibson stomps on him and then lifts him up for a Running Powerbomb in to the corner. As he charges forward, Ospreay rolls to safety and then turns the tables with a Knee Trembler. He follows up with a Running Forearm Smash, a Handspring Enzuiguri and a Robinson Special Kick for a two count. The Aerial Assassin slowly takes to the ropes for the Imploding 450 Splash. He leaps through the air. Gibson gets his knees up. Liverpool's Number One then quickly gets up and executes the Helter Skelter Brainbuster. He hooks the leg. The referee counts. Ospreay kicks out at two. Gibson is not happy. He targets the referee and yells at him to count quicker. In the mean time, Ospreay finds his feet and recovers. Gibson pulls him up for a Vertical Suplex. The high-flyer from Essex counters in to a Stunner. He then springs off the ropes to nail the Oscutter for the pinfall. The referee counts three. Will Ospreay picks up a convincing win to advance to the next round. As he celebrates, Jennifer Louise joins him in the ring looking for an interview. He is happy to oblige. The Aerial Assassin expresses that this is the beginning of a new chapter for him. It was nearly two years ago that he fell at the final hurdle in the inaugural EPW British National Championship Tournament and now this tournament is a chance to show how far he has come. Ospreay vows to become the first EPW British Junior Champion to an awesome response from the fans. His music plays. He continues to play to the crowd in to the next break.

William Regal is in his office talking with his security when Big Damo strolls in. The Beast From Belfast is greeted with a handshake from the commissioner who reveals that he has some news for him. As Damo listen, the boss informs him that he will be taking part in the EPW British Atlas Championship Tournament that will be beginning on next week's episode. The monster from Ireland doesn't quite seem satisfied. He speaks up and tells Regal that he should be getting the next shot at Pete Dunne's EPW British Undisputed Championship seeing as he was the sole survivor in the Six Man Tag Team Elimination Match last week. The commissioner assures Damo that once he brings the Atlas Division gold to The Corporate Entourage then he will get his chance to challenge The Bruiserweight. The big man is then told that he will be in action in tonight's main event. He will team with Joe Hendry and Mark Davis to take on Drew Galloway, Joe Coffey & Wolfgang in a Six Man Tag Team Match featuring six of the eight Atlas Division Tournament competitors.

Nixon Newell vs. Jinny Couture
These two have not been featured in prominent positions for a while. This is an opportunity to prove themselves in this new era of the women's division. Nixon Newell receives a great reaction from the fans in her home country. The Welsh Destroyer walks out with the flag over her shoulders which garners even more support. She takes to the ropes and spreads her arms out wide to a roar. For the first time in some time, she gives us a smile and it appears we might be seeing some of the old Nixon again. Jinny Couture walks out to new theme music; 'Haute Couture' by Hot Tag Media Works. The self-proclaimed million pound woman struts down with a scowl on her face and her purse over her shoulder. We are reminded of her antics at EPW Live #97 during the Gauntlet Match where she paid off several of her opponents to eliminate themselves from the match. As she steps through the ropes, she requests a microphone from ringside and tells the 'sheep humping inbreds' to quieten down. This only riles them up even more. Jinny then pulls out an envelope full of cash before placing it in the hands of her opponent. Nixon looks down at it with wide eyes. The loud-moth diva from London then tells her that all she has to do is lie down on her back and take the fall and the money is all hers. Newell takes a moment to think about it. Eventually she begins to roll on to her back. Couture smiles and takes to her knees for the pin. As she makes the pin, The Welsh Destroyer counters in to a Small Package for a two count. It appears that the babyface will not be bribed. The two rise to their feet. Nixon blasts the heel with a Discus Forearm Smash before pulling off a Bridging Fallaway Slam for another two count. Jinny staggers back in to the corner. It looks like she is going to fall victim to a Monkey Flip. She manages to reverse it in to a Running Spinebuster for a two count of her own. The antagonist takes her opponent in to the corner and chokes her with her foot whilst Jessika Carr counts to five. Couture then releases and poses to the crowd. They boo at her whilst she sizes up her a Running Big Boot. As she charges forward, Newell leaps over her and then pulls off a Chokehold STO. She then climbs the ropes with a Diving Somersault Seated Senton in mind. Nixon jumps through the air and executes the move with ease. The leg is hooked. Jessika Carr counts. Kick out at the last moment. The fans chant the babyface's name when she runs forward for the Shining Wizard. Couture manages to scramble forward in to a sit out pin. The count is made. The official doesn't realise she has hold of the middle rope too. The extra leverage makes the difference and the three is counted. Jinny Couture steals a victory. As her music starts to play, The Million Dollar Woman quickly escapes the ring with a grin on her face. She snatches her bag from ringside while the fans hurl jeers and insults her way. Nixon Newell then stands to applause once her opponent has escaped. She knows she has been robbed but takes in the positive response from the Welsh fans.

Nathan Cruz enters the office of William Regal who is now alone sat behind his desk. The Prima Donna is greeted with a congratulations for his victory on Reloaded over Trent Seven when he walks through the door. The cocky grappler from Hull has seen that he hasn't been featured in the Atlas Division Tournament where as his stable mates in The Corporate Entourage have. Cruz asks what separates him from Damo and Hendry. The boss tells him that he sees bigger things in the future for him. He goes in to more detail explaining that The Corporate Entourage may have 'the muscle' of Big Damo however he isn't quite what he sees as 'the face' of his team. The Prima Donna listens in as Regal tells him if he makes the right moves then there is no reason why he can't become the face of The Corporate Entourage. Cruz ends the segment by telling the commissioner that he will prove why he should be main eventing shows up and down the country before this night is over. He leaves. Regal is left in the office with a devious grin on his face.

TK Cooper (with Dahlia Black) vs. Travis Banks (with Madison Eagles)
This is the final first round match of the EPW British Junior Championship Tournament. Already confirmed for the second round is Will Ospreay vs. Josh Bodom. This match will determine who will go on to face Zack Sabre Jr. These two arch-enemies had a grudge match only last week where TK Cooper finally managed to end his losing streak with a win over his former friend turned bitter enemy. After the match, it looked like The South Pacific Power Trip were to finally reconcile however Travis Banks decided to kick him in the groin and lay him out with the Kiwi Crusher in a cowardly post-match attack. In another cowardly move, The Kiwi Buzzsaw walks out with Madison Eagles in his corner. The leader of Australasian Strong Style is welcomed to the ring to a chorus of boos from the Welsh fans. He doesn't seem too bothered and looks more focused on getting back his win from his former co-champion. 'Without You' by Netsky plays to cheers from the crowd. Out walks TK Cooper on to the stage looking reinvigorated with a victory under his belt. Eventually Dahlia Black walks out by his side to even the odds. If Madison Eagles is going to try and get involved then she is going to have the former EPW British Women's Champion to deal with. The two competitors trade strikes in the middle of the ring to begin the match. It is a fairly back and forth contest at the start. Both topple down to ringside when Cooper tackles Banks and they both fall through the ropes. Banks tries to charge Cooper in to the steel steps. He misses and crashes in to them by himself. The high-flyer from New Zealand quickly hurries back in before pulling off a Suicide Dive through the middle ropes to send The Kiwi Buzzsaw in to the steel barricade. Back in the ring, Cooper pins Banks for two. He tries to deliver some strikes in the corner but Banks fires back with some knife-edge chops. The Kiwi Buzzsaw then turns the tables with a Rolling Wheel Kick and a Running Cannonball in to the corner. The leader of Australasian Strong Style then climbs the ropes as boos echo around the arena. He pulls off a Diving Double Knee Stomp for a two count. Madison Eagles yells at the referee about the speed of the count but it won't do anything to change it. Banks tries to pull his opponent up for the Kiwi Crusher. Cooper manages to escape and then runs the ropes to pull off a Running Bicycle Kick. With Banks dazed, the high-flyer from New Zealand follows up with a Springboard Dropkick. Madison Eagles has nailed Dahlia Black with a Running Spear out of nowhere. The Punisher then tries to enter the ring but is stopped by the referee. Cooper has begun climbing the ropes. Suddenly Kyle Fletcher jumps up on to the apron and holds on to his foot. This gives his ally the opportunity to recover and then drag Cooper down in to the Lion's Clutch. The hold is applied in the middle of the ring. Fletcher has escaped out of sight and Eagles finally lets go of the referee. TK Cooper has no other alternative than to tap out. Travis Banks wins with help from his Australasian Strong Style cohorts. The Kiwi Buzzsaw has his arm raised amongst an arena full of boos. He stands with one foot over the chest of TK Cooper whilst yelling 'i'll always be better than you!' Banks advances to the next round where he will go one-on-one with Zack Sabre Jr. for a spot in the final of the EPW British Junior Championship Tournament.

When we return, we hear the pop of the night when 'Bruiserweight' by CFO$ blares over the speakers to signify the entrance of our new EPW British Undisputed Champion. Pete Dunne stomps down the aisle with purpose as he is showered with appreciation by the Welsh fans. Ring announcer Jim Smallman has no choice but to pass the champion a microphone when he hits the ring. As the belt dangles over his shoulder, Dunne states that your looking at the current EPW British Undisputed Champion who is soon to be the EPW World Undisputed Champion and there gonna love it whether they want to or not. The cheer they respond with proves that they approve. He can't help but grin. The Bruiserweight knows that he's not what management would call their 'ideal champion' however he couldn't give a rat's arse what anybody thinks about him. All Dunne cares about is that he is in possession of what is rightfully is. The brawler from Birmingham declares that he will never ever be forced to be anything else. He doesn't care whether it is Damo, Hendry, Cruz, Finlay, Taylor, Brookside or even Regal himself. None of these corporate stooges will be able to claw away the gold from him and he dares any of them to come try it. The fans become unglued. Pete Dunne wants a fight with The Corporate Entourage right now. Out from the back walks Fit Finlay, Dave Taylor and Robbie Brookside who Dunne made fools of backstage before his match on last week's episode. He smiles as he awaits their arrival to the squared circle. Before they get there, he is sucker punched from behind by none other than Nathan Cruz who we saw getting a pep talk from William Regal earlier tonight. The Prima Donna pulls out brass knuckles from his jacket, places them on his hand and then proceeds to drill the reigning champion in the skull with a stiff right hand. Dunne is floored. Cruz picks up the belt from the canvas and then lifts it above his head. He then slowly leans in and tells his grounded victim that he will be back for the gold in due time. His music begins to play as Cruz leaves alongside the security team who made the distraction.

Six Man Tag Team Match
Big Damo, Joe Hendry & Mark Davis vs. Drew Galloway, Joe Coffey & Wolfgang

These six men will take part in the Atlas Division Tournament which begins on next week's episode. Tonight is a preview of what we have in store. Big Damo is the first to make his entrance and he doesn't look happy. After being the sole survivor for The Corporate Entourage last week, he fully expected to be named the #1 contender however it appears that William Regal has favoured Nathan Cruz ahead of him. Something is on his mind and that is surely it. Joe Hendry is out next. The Prestigious One is quick to join his stablemate in the ring before trying to calm him down. These two haven't seen eye to eye but have always managed to band together when needed. The last member of the heel team is Mark Davis. The largest member of Australasian Strong Style gets an opportunity at singles success for the first time with his inclusion in the tournament. He usually competes in the tag team division as one half of The Aussie Open. Recent performances have impressed management who have put him in contention in the Atlas Division. The Dunkzilla joins his team mates in the ring and Ranallo states that these three men weigh in collectively at almost 800lbs. Their opponents show a united front by entering together. The three Scottish heavyweights enter to 'Wish It Away' by Psyko Dalek being led by Drew Galloway. The Celtic Colossus has his eye on both Damo and Hendry. There is still obviously some bad blood after last week's elimination match. Mark Davis and Wolfgang are the legal men to start this match. Some brawling between these two whips the Welsh crowd up in to a frenzy. The Dunkzilla manages to pull off a Belly-To-Belly Suplex. He tries to follow up with a Pop-Up Powerbomb but it is countered and The Regulator tags out to Joe Coffey. Wolfgang holds Davis in place so Coffey can fly in with a Springboard Splash for a two count. The Iron Man follows up with a Gutwrench Suplex, the Big Swing and then begins to wind up for the Discus Lariat. He is jumped from behind illegally by Joe Hendry. This gives Davis a chance to recover and tags out to The Prestigious One. Hendry comes in to take Coffey off of his feet with the Commonwealth Clothesline. The accomplished freestyle wrestler executes an Arm-Wrench DDT and a Fallaway Slam. He then tags in Big Damo who lets out all of his frustration on his opponent. The Iron Man is beaten down like a dog in the corner. The Beast From Belfast throws him across the ring with a Gorilla Press Slam. After Coffey crawls to his corner, Drew Galloway tags himself in and approaches Damo with no fear. The two giants go face to face. They begin to trade strikes until Damo nails a Headbutt. Galloway staggers back. Damo charges at him but is clocked with a Big Boot. He tries to follow up with a Falling Neckbreaker. The Beast From Belfast escapes and shifts the momentum with a Running Low Crossbody. He follows up with a Running Senton for a two count. As he tries to apply the Cu Chullain's Wrath, The Celtic Colossus shoves his way out of it and Damo is sent back in to his corner. Mark Davis tags himself in to the Irish heavyweight's anger. As he looks round, Wolfgang spears him through the ropes to the outside. The two of them brawl around the ring while the other four scrap in the ring. Joe Coffey eventually sends Joe Hendry to the outside with a Clothesline over the ropes. The Iron Man then flies over the ropes with a Suicide Dive on to The Prestigious One. It is just Galloway and Davis left in the ring. The Dunkzilla sets up once again for his finisher; the Pop-Up Powerbomb. He is drilled with a European Uppercut instead. Galloway scores a Gut Kick and then executes the Future Shock DDT. The leg is hooked. The referee counts three. Drew Galloway picks up the win for his team. He takes to the turnbuckles to celebrate as his team mates soon join him in the ring. In the mean time, Mark Davis rolls out of the ring in agony. Big Damo is furious and Joe Hendry is trying to calm him down once again. Their attention is turned to the video screen when the brackets for the next week's first round of the tournament are shown before the show goes off the air. Big Damo goes up against Wolfgang, Drew Galloway takes on Mark Davis and Joe Hendry and Joe Coffey's opponents are yet to be announced. The tension in the Atlas Division is extremely high as tonight's show comes to a close.

Regal being happy with how things went down at #100 is a bit of a surprise given how the main event ended. Interesting decision one going for two new belts. I knew you were pondering on which route to go. Hopefully the new gold will work out. Regal declaring that Dunne will have an upcoming title defense tour is a bold move. Who knows who Eric Bischoff and the others powers that be will have waiting for Dunne when the champ arrives.

Rough way for Sabre Jr. to advance in the tournament, but he would be a deserving name to be the first jr champion.

With Gallagher being a former holder of the top belt it did feel difference seeing him in this one, but nothing wrong with giving it star power. With that being said though it was good to see Bodom pick up the win and move on in the tournament. Not sure how you got the brackets set up, but Bodom and Sabre Jr. would be a great final.

Interesting action by the rest of the ladies’ locker room by stating they’ll be on her tail soon but will give her the night. Given the players involved something does smell a bit fishy.

Tough break for Gibson. Hopegfully he can bounce back from the loss, but Ospreay earned that one.

Got to agree with the big man, he was the last one standing in the elimination tag, and not seeing him next in line for the big gold seems unfitting, but if Regal is true to his word then Damo going all the way in the tournament might not be such a bad thing.

Despite her being sneaky about it, Jinny’s win gives her a case to be the first to face Viper in her new reign as champion.

Feeling bad for TK Cooper. Even with the win at #100 is bad luck continued post-bell, and dropping the tournament match, he may be running out of time.

Add Cruz’s attack on Dunne to Regal’s words to Big Damo earlier on, as well as announcing Dunne’s upcoming title defences to take place internationally, there’s a lot on Dunne’s plate, more so than usual.

The tone is set for the Atlas tournament, got a feeling it will be hard hitting and the winner could literally be the last man standing.
