Intercontinental Championship
Chuck Taylor and Emma Matthews vs Katie Lea and TJ Rage

As mentioned on this past week’s Showcase, whoever scores the deciding fall will be crowned the champion. The champ’s partner is one she selected outside of XCW’s walls as Scotland’s own TJ Rage. Taylor and Matthews did their best to keep the champion isolated from her corner, however she eventually managed to make a tag and TJ Rage came in hot. After knocking down both Matthews once and Taylor a few times he sized up Matthews for a spear. Don Callis knows what is coming and tells TJ even though he uses it back home he better hope that the Supernova of Superstars isn’t watching…Taylor takes the spear instead. He has Matthews by the hair and holds her place for Katie. The rest of Team FIST hits ringside, objecting what TJ was going to do to Matthews, but ended up doing to Taylor instead. The tag is made and TJ confronts Icarus on the outside. They have a short verbal exchange until Icarus takes a swing, but it gets blocked he gets knocked down. Referee Jimmy Korderas sees this and joins TJ on the outside, trying to get him and Icarus to separate as Icarus threatens retaliation. Akuma grabs the championship belt and tosses it to Matthews…or he intended to do that as Katie caught it. Matthews begs off, not wanting any of the champ anymore. Katie swings, Matthews avoids it, but she can’t avoid a quick follow up strike and down she goes. Before Katie can get any follow up ideas Taylor strikes her from behind with a low blow. TJ sees this from the outside and returns to the ring. Taylor is quick to intercept him upon entry and takes him down with sole food. He grabs hold of one of Katie’s legs and applies his cross crab until, as he tells Matthews “I got ‘em until you get up babe.” The referee isn’t calling for the break, in fact he’s checking for a submission, which she’s quick to tap out. Taylor, Icarus, and Akuma look confused as to what just happened. Don Callis has it figured out and explains that Chuck Taylor was the legal man for his team, and due to the match stipulations he’s the new champion. Taylor tries to deny it, but that changes when he gets the belt in his hands, telling the guys he’s champion again. The guys hug it out, but then sees Matthews coming to and try to figure out how to explain it to her. He plays it cool and says she won it and hands her the belt, but the ref won’t keep his mouth shut, which Akuma gives him heck for it. Matthews looks disappointed by it, but it looks like she can take some consolation that the belt is in the group.

Heath Slater def. Jaxon Jarvis to retain the Ironman Championship
Following the bell Tye Dillinger hit the ring and after Slater got his arm raised he turned right into Dillinger’s Tye Breaker. Referee Amy Kanzaki came out with Dillinger and counted the pin for the new champ.

Hardcore Match
Toni Storm vs Kei

Kei came out to cut a promo on the current Intercontinental Championship situation and calls out the new champion after saying her piece, but instead of the champ accepting her challenge, Toni Storm came out and told the travelling vet to ‘wait her turn’ because Storm will be the one to take the belt from her. Natalya came out and made a match between the two ladies with the winner to face Chuck Taylor at Full Metal. Both ladies were alright with the decision. Kei won the bout after clocking Storm upside the head with portal cooler bag filled with beer cans from one of those in-stands vendors after Storm was denied another in-stand vendor’s snack tray. After the pin Kei inspected to see if any of the cans survived, which they did. She gave near by fans some of what was inside and took some for herself, said to send the tab to Chuck Taylor.

Dean Martin w/Damien Sandow vs Jeff Hardy
Sandow distracted referee Chris Truax as Hardy was going for the twist of fate, which allowed Martin to escape and connect with a lowblow that went undetected by the match official before finishing off Hardy with the you’re welcome to secure the pinfall.

Blayde w/Act Yasukawa vs Damien Maxwell
In a segment shot earlier in the day Eric Bischoff made the match with both men present in his office. Bischoff explains AJ Styles will be in action later tonight in a special dark match once the show goes off the air so it is only fair for Damien to be as well since the two of them have their match tomorrow night. On the flip side, Wade Barrett does not have a challenger for his title yet, so if Blayde can defeat the owner of the company then he will face the champ at Full Metal. This one could have went either way and Blayde came close to pulling off the win, however Damien had enough awareness to get a foot on the bottom rope following a Jake Robert’s style ddt. Damien managed to recover after Blayde took him to the top rope as he was thinking big, and after Blayde landed on the canvas Damien pulled himself to the top rope and connected with a shooting star press, which was enough for the win. Both men shook hands before leaving the ring.

The Rock and Brian Kendrick vs Sami Zayn and Jack Swagger w/Jim Cornette
This match was made earlier in the day by Eric Bischoff with convincing from James R. Kennedy. Nick Watts made his way ringside during the match, but was chased off by Zayn. With Swagger’s partner unintentionally bailing on him both Swagger and Cornette called for Zayn to come back, to he was already behind the curtain. Swagger turned his attention back to the match and got caught with a spinebuster from the Rock. Rock followed up with the people’s elbow, but as he came off the ropes Kendrick made the blind tag and stole the pin for himself. It looked like Rock was going to take Kendrick’s head off after the bell, but he was willing to let is slide, even telling Kendrick “Good one.”

Kevin Steen hosts his Kevin Steen show in the ring, stating he rarely, if at all, does his show live, but since there has been demand for it he decided to throw the people a bone. He then introduces his guest, The Miz. Rob Rage crashed the party after a few minutes and explained there won’t be a 4-way match because he took care of Harry Smith last week, putting down that bulldog for good. As he was about to go into his next thought Smith’s themed played and Smith hit the ring. Rage couldn’t believe what he saw, which Steen tells Rage he’s in trouble now. Rage tells Miz to help him deal with this, however Miz says Rage is on his own. Miz and Steen stand back and watch Smith and Rage go at it. They go at it until Smith knocks Rage over the top rope and to the outside. Rage is enraged, however before he can get back in the ring extra officials come out and order him backstage. Smith wants more of Rage, but before he can consider going after him Miz grabs hold of Smith from behind and connects with the skull crushing finale. Miz making a statement here, however he forgot that Kevin Steen is still there and when he turns around Steen boots him in the mid-section and is about to deliver a package piledriver when Bischoff hits the stage. Bischoff demands order, more specifically for Steen to let go of Miz, unless he wants to be fired on the spot. Bischoff knows all four men are fired up for hell in a cell and he is glad to see it, however he tells them they must wait until tomorrow night. Rage calls for a mic and he tells his Full Metal opponents to enjoy this moment of clemency while they still can, for come Sunday night the supernova of superstars will unleash hell in a cell.

After the cameras go of the air and the ring clears, a bonus dark match took place for the fans in attendance, as revealed by Eric Bischoff during the broadcast. AJ Styles defeated Alex Shelley of the Motor City Machine Guns in singles action. Chris Sabin worked a dark match against a local competitor on the Showcase portion of the show and was present in Shelley’s corner for this one. He did not play a factor in his partner’s defeat.

- Shame to see Toni Storm lose. She's a hell of a talent.

- Cheap win for Dean Martin over an accomplished opponent.

- I have mixed feelings on how The Rock is being used.

- The Hell In A Cell Match should be a hell of a bout at Full Metal.
