Melissa Santos is in the ring and welcomes tonight's very special guest. "The Hardcore Legend" Mick Foley comes out to a large standing ovation from the Chicago crowd. Foley takes the time to shake every persons hand in the first few rows before rolling into the ring. Mick Foley thanks the crowd for their love and support, and promises not to take up too much of their time because this has been one hell of a show thus far and wants to keep it going. Foley says that the reason he came tonight was because he heard about this small independent promotion in some grungey old bingo hall in Chicago that's been putting on some of the best wrestling that he's ever seen. And well, he wanted to come and check it out himself and he has not been disappointed. Foley continues, talking about tonight's main event between Davey Vega and Dalton Castle in a Death Match. He wishes both men luck, because he's been in those kinds of matches before and that's why he had to give up what he loved doing long before he would have liked to.

A loud "THANK YOU, MICK" chant is interrupted by the music of the Revolution Heavyweight champions. "The Death Machine" Sami Callihan comes out with his championship around his waist, wearing a black pair of jeans and a black vest over a red shirt. Callihan says that he doesn't give a fuck what he has to say, immediately drawing heat from the crowd. Sami says that these are his people, not Foley's. These people came to see their champion. Callihan takes all the credit for the sellout show tonight. Sami says that nobody cares what some kind of has been that still carries around a sock in his pants has to say. He continues to berate the Hardcore Legend, telling him to get the hell out of his ring because he owns this fucking place and has something to say. Foley drops his microphone, hangs his head down low and begins to exit the ring.

Sami says that ever since he came into this company, he turned it upside down along with The Young Bucks and Adam Cole. They brought The Bullet Club over from Japan in the United States and we put this fucking company on the fucking map. And he doesn't get any respect for it, Callihan says that if Revolution doesn't want him around then he's going to make his own rules. Callihan says that he hereby takes himself out of next month's Eddie Guerrero Invitational. Instead, he and The Young Bucks will find something else to do while Adam Cole wins the tournament. Gabe Sapolsky comes out from the back confused, he apologizes to Mick Foley before going into the ring and yelling at Callihan off the microphone. Sami shoves Gabe down into a corner. Sami reaches down into his pocket and pulls out a switchblade. Gabe cowers in fear, as Callihan grins, walking ever so slowly towards his prey even licking the edge of the blade.

Mick Foley then enters the ring to a loud pop and turns Sami around and unloads on him with right hands. He knocks the champ off his feet, as a stunned Sami slowly reaches his feet. Foley immediately clotheslines himself and Callihan over the top rope and to the floor. Foley gives a loud "BANG BANG" as he sits next to Sami. Foley begins punching away at the champion before getting up. Foley takes a chair and smashes it across the back of Callihan's, and looks to bash in the Death Machine's skull, but Callihan low blows. Sami picks up the chair and tosses it at Foley's face as he crumbles to the ground. Callihan buries Foley in about ten to fifteen steel chairs. Callihan bleeding from the mouth, hops onto the apron glaring down Gabe who stands center of the ring. Foley rises from the rubble of chairs, grabbing Callihan by the foot, stopping him from entering the ring. Sami kicks and punches away at Foley, until Foley guerilla presses Callihan off the apron and into the pile of steel chairs! Foley climbs to the apron, and dives off with a huge ELBOW! The crowd is chanting "FOLEY SHIT" as Mick reaches his feet.

Foley slides into the ring, bleeding from the forehead and elbow, as Gabe Sapolsky tries helping him to his feet. Foley limps up to his feet as Gabe hugs him out of appreciation. Sami Callihan like a vicious, relentless dog gets right back in the ring, jumping Foley from behind as Gabe jumps out of the way. The two continue exchanging right hands, until Sami bashes Foley in the face with the Heavyweight championship. Sami rolls out of the ring and goes under the apron to pull out a barbed wire baseball bat which he kisses, which causes his bottom lip to bleed. Sami enters the ring, swinging the bat with one hand. Gabe gets in between Sami and Foley, but Foley shoves Gabe out of the way and takes the shot in the mid-section. Sami rips the barbed wire out of the chest of Foley's tearing his shirt to shreds. Sami swings for the head, but Foley low blows Callihan. Foley grabs the bat and smashes it over the back of Sami's and into the gut before driving it into his head! A bloody Callihan lays in a pool of his own blood, as Mick Foley reaches down into his sweatpants pulling out Mister Socko to a loud pop!

Foley puts Mister Socko on over his hand, as he awaits the crimson mask wearing Death Machine to reach his feet. Foley is about to shove the dirty sock down the throat of Callihan's until The Young Bucks comes running out from the back, attacking Foley from behind to a loud chorus of jeers. The Bucks take out a bloody Foley with Double Superkicks. Callihan grabs the switchblade, and holds it against the throat of Foley's. But then Claudio Castagnoli and Chris Hero comes running out from the back, chasing off the Bullet Club. Hero takes the microphone and wants the Young Bucks right now, not wanting to wait for later. The Young Bucks shake their heads, saying too bad. They're the main event for a reason! Gabe Sapolsky takes the microphone and says that The Bucks don't make the rules, and neither do Sami. The Main Event is right fucking NOW!

Dalton fights through it though, struggling to his feet before he eats a final shot to the head! Dalton uncuffs Castle from the bottom rope, before running into a light tube against the skull! Castle with a german suplex gets a long two count. Davey eventually tosses him into the ladder that's leaning against the corner. Vega follows up with a piledriver onto the aforementioned set up chairs! Vega covers, but Castle kicks out and fires up to his feet, Castle ducks a chair toss, which referee Rudy Charles eats. Castle immediately locks Vega with a Reverse Chickenwing, dropping into the barbed wire board. Vega taps out but there is no referee in sight. The Boys come running out from back and toss in a bag to the bloody Dalton Castle.

Castle opens up the bag and dumps out tens of thousands of thumbtacs. Vega misses a superkick, and Dalton looks for a german suplex but Vega low blows him. Davey tosses Castle into the tacs with a jack knife powerbomb, and follows through with a running senton splash for a two count after The Boys break up the cover! Mat Fitchett comes running out chasing off The Boys to the back. Vega looks for a GTS, dropping Dalton face first into a chair. The Party Peacock blocks it, and tosses said chair into Davey Vega's face! Castle wraps the open chair around the neck of his opponent and pulls back until Vega has to submit in just under 20 minutes!

Following the match, a bloody Dalton Castle stands up to his feet and raises a hand in victory before tumbling back down and into the canvas. The Boys come out and help Castle to his feet. Fitchett comes back out and tends to his better half, Davey Vega. Dalton takes the microphone and wishes that he could apologize, but everybody is looking at 2017 EGI victor! [/b][/b]

- Liked the finish to the opener. Joey Janela was unfortunate. Kind of digging Mat Fitchett's act now.

- Matt Riddle is one of the best independent talents on the planet right now. Hope to see him in the title mix soon.

- Tough break for Flash Morgan Webster. The Modfather has put in some great performances in recent weeks.

- The Foley segment popped me and was a great way to put The Kings of Wrestling over as a top babyface team.

- Super ACH really proved himself with the title defence tonight. Didn't think he'd walk out with the gold.

- Cobb/Cage was an absolute collision course. The better man won imo but wouldn't object to a rematch.

- The main event was a war. Didn't think Castle had that in him. He's now a front runner for the EGI for me.
