RELOADED MATCH #1: Will Ospreay defeated Kyle Fletcher (with Mark Davis and Madison Eagles via pinfall after The Aerial Assassin dropped The Aussie Arrow with his finishing move; the Oscutter. RELOADED MATCH #2: Sha Samuels defeated Trent Seven via pinfall after ducking the Seven Stars Lariat and The East End Butcher finished off his opponent with the Spinning Spinebuster. RELOADED MATCH #3: Sumie Sakai defeated Bea Priestley via pinfall with the Moonsault to qualify for the Klondyke Kate Classic. Sweet Saraya was on guest commentary for the match. EPW Live #106 As Reloaded wraps up, the main broadcast begins of a video recap of last week's show. Tonight marks the beginning of our month long tour of Scotland and we are live in front of a sold out crowd in Dundee. Mauro Ranallo and Nigel McGuinness are standing by at ringside to run down the scheduled card which includes Noam Dar going one-on-one with Travis Banks, Jack Gallagher battles Zack Gallagher in singles action, Jinny Couture takes on Kay Lee Ray in a #1 contender's match and The Sanguinary have invited any tag team to fight them both in individual singles matches tonight with a shot at the EPW British Tag Team Championships at stake if the challengers pick up both wins. Our main event is yet to be announced but we do know that EPW World Undisputed Champion Pete Dunne is in the house. The music of Joe Hendry plays which garners a mixed reaction. Some can't help but cheer The Prestigious One who returns to address the fans in his home country this evening. Some still boo the corporate lackey as he makes his way down the aisle. He claims to be immensely proud to be standing in an English Pro Wrestling ring in Scotland regardless of what the people think of him. Hendry further explains that one year ago he was injured without a clue whether he would ever be able to wrestle again. The Prestigious One gets a standing ovation as he chokes up telling us that it's been a long road to recovery. 'Regality' by Jim Johnston interrupts the segments with William Regal interrupting with the rest of The Corporate Entourage in tow. The commissioner wants to know why he is out here sucking up to all of the Scottish fans without his say so. Hendry responds by apologising to Regal and then says that he's all done. The applause continues. The boss isn't happy though. He stops Hendry from exiting the ring before ordering him to denounce his country on the spot. The Prestigious One shakes his head in disbelief. What would you expect from the evil dictator though? The fans begin to chant the name 'HENDRY' repeatedly. This causes him to fire back at Regal and yell out a huge 'NO!' to the delight of the crowd. The Corporate Entourage begin to circle their stablemate until 'Bruiserweight' by CFO$ blares over the speakers. Pete Dunne charges down to a huge pop with his title belt in one hand and the sledgehammer in the other. He slides in before swinging towards his multiple rivals. They all scatter to ringside. William Regal is still in possession of a microphone. The boss demands everybody's attention before booking our main event; Nathan Cruz and Sha Samuels vs. Pete Dunne and Joe Hendry in a Steel Cage Match. If Hendry can't win then he is off the rest of the Scotland tour. The two men in the ring appear to accept the challenge. As we head to our first break, Dunne and Hendry discuss matters with one another in the ring whilst the music plays. Travis Banks vs. Noam Dar The Scottish Supernova gets a great reaction returning to his home country and is even given some one-off pyrotechnics whilst he poses on the ramp. The last time we saw him on television was last week slapping the taste out of new EPW British Junior Champion Josh Bodom's mouth after the cocky rookie from Bournemouth disrespected the locker room with some arrogant post-match champagne celebrations. His opponent Travis Banks looks like he means business as he marches down the aisle. The two get in to it right away with the pace kept fast to get the crowd going. Noam Dar nails the Nova Roller early. He approaches for a pinfall however The Kiwi Buzzsaw escapes to avoid it. Instead he falls victim to a Running Suicide Dive through the ropes to send him flying in to the steel barricade. The match continues with the fan favourite in control. The 10 year pro from Ayr teases the Champagne Super Kneebar. Banks manages to fight out of it and executes the Spinning Torture Rack Slam on the rebound for a near fall. The former Battle For The Briefcase winner lifts up Noam for the Kiwi Crusher. He manages to escape and turns the tables in to a Springboard European Uppercut. As Banks hits the corner, his opponent drops him with a Dragon Screw Leg Whip. He applies the Champagne Super Kneebar. The Kiwi Buzzsaw is in immense pain however holds on for a while looking for a way out of the holds. The Scottish Supernova yanks on harder and he is forced to tap out. Noam Dar is victorious. He returns to in-ring competition in style with a big singles win. Nigel McGuinness notes that this performance has to put him in contention for the EPW British Junior Championship. As he does, he is waffled in the back of the head with that particular belt by the holder; Josh Bodom. It appears that The Blonde Bomber is still angry at being humiliated in the locker room last week. He continues to lay in to Dar with several mounted punches until a couple more referees rush down to pull him off. Bodom then turns to the crowd, lifts his title up in the air and asks them 'how's your boy now huh?' He is ordered to the backstage area by the referees and goes but not without shoving one out of the way as he walks by. Jennifer Louise is stood in the locker room for an interview with The Second City Collective. They brag about how they have been treating Shane Strickland these past few weeks on Reloaded which includes beating him in tag team bouts and costing him singles matches that they have no business getting involved in at all. Ryan Smile explains that they're not happy with imports coming in to take spots on the card when they bust their asses every week and are hardly featured. Damian Dunne welcomes another man in to view with the same stance on things. Kip Sabian tells his apparently new allies that he didn't join the English Pro Wrestling roster to take a back seat to foreign talent. Last week, with the help of The Second City Collective, he showed that they are superior. The interviewer then questions why he needed help to beat Shane Strickland if he really though this. The trio soon get their backs up at that statement before challenging Strickland to bring find two partners to face them next week in a Six Man Tag Team Match. Jimmy Havoc (with Bram) vs. Wolfgang (with Joe Coffey) One half of the new EPW British Tag Team Champions seems smug on his way down to the ring with his bodyguard Bram by his side. Jimmy Havoc and Mark Haskins beat The C.C.K last week for the gold and they waste no time in the hunt for new challengers as they have invited any team to take them on in singles competition with the team that can beat them being rewarded a shot at the gold. Wolfgang receives an arena full of cheers much like Noam Dar earlier. He has tag partner Joe Coffey by his side who presumably will be taking on Mark Haskins later however he is out here to keep an eye on Bram who is at ringside. Before the bell can even ring, The Iron Man and The Chesterfield Plague have a yelling match at ringside. This could escalate at any time. Wolfgang uses his size advantage to dominate the early stages of the contest. He climbs up to the second rope for a Moonsault though and is cut off with a Running Chop Block. Jimmy Havoc follows up with a Jumping Reverse Bulldog to the canvas for a one count. The King Of The Goths remains in control for a while using his Roaring Elbow, Diving Double Foot Stomp and the Acid Rainmaker to get a near fall on his adversary. He calls for Bram to hand him the title gold in anger. Even though this will cause a DQ win for his team, Joe Coffey doesn't want to see his tag partner get hurt so charges round to stop The Sanguinary's bodyguard from throwing the weapon in to play. The two powerhouses kick off at ringside. Havoc looks on in frustration. He is then scooped up and planted in to the canvas with the Wasteland by his opponent. The Regulator climbs up top to land the Howling. The leg is hooked. The three is counted. Wolfgang wins and The Glaswegian Assembly are half way to an EPW British Tag Team Championship match in their home country. The two Scots celebrate together in the ring whilst the heels retreat to the back. Jennifer Louise catches up with Pete Dunne for an interview. The Bruiserweight is asked why he chose to come to the aide of Joe Hendry to which he immediately tells us that he isn't friends and doesn't give a sh*t about The Prestigious One. His motivation behind the save was purely to get under the skin of William Regal and The Corporate Entourage who have made his life hell for months. Tonight he will grit his teeth and team up with Joe Hendry for a chance to get his hands around the throat of Nathan Cruz again and Sha Samuels inside of a steel cage. He expresses once again that they may be united in the main event but Dunne works alone. When all is said and done, the EPW ring is his ring no matter what country they are in. The interview ends abruptly with the champion pacing off up the corridor. Jack Gallagher vs. Zack Gibson The segment begins with the usual long winded promo from the resident heat magnet. Zack Gibson runs down Scotland and the Dundee fans before proclaiming himself as Liverpool's number one, soon to be recognised as English Pro Wrestling's number one and soon to be recognised as the world's number one. Jack Gallagher finally interrupts him. The fans show their love for The Extraordinary Gentleman whilst he makes his entrance down to the ring. When he goes to step through the ropes, Gibson charges at him and sends him crashing back down to the floor with a knee. The dastardly heel quickly capitalises by beating down his opponent at ringside whilst the referee orders them back in to the squared circle. The commentary team talk about Gibson's obsessive attempt to join The Corporate Entourage which has been unsuccessful so far. Ranallo thinks a win over Gallagher who is a known enemy to Regal these days could be a step in the right direction for the loud mouth from Liverpool. He delivers the Helter Skelter Brainbuster back in the ring to an arena full of boos. The driving force so far in this bout tells 'the marks' to 'shut it' which riles them up even more. As he attempts to lock on the Shankley Gates, Gallagher escapes and finally kicks things up a gear. The former champion pulls things back in to gear with a Twisting Bodyscissors Monkey Flip and a Double Underhook Suplex. He then locks on the Over Rotated Delfin Clutch to the crowd's delight followed by a Running Soccer Kick to the buttocks. As Gibson tries to scurry away, he is pulled back in to the Achilles Lock. The hold is locked on. Liverpool's Number One taps out with conviction. Jack Gallagher made the comeback for the victory. His arm is hoisted up in victory and he respectfully bows to each section of the crowd. The losing side drops to ringside looking pissed. The crowd revel in it though and hurl insults his way. When we return from the break, William Regal's security team are in the ring and Fit Finlay has a microphone. They have been greeted with boos. The Belfast Bruiser tells the Scottish fans to quieten down however this only flares up the negative reaction. He makes a back handed comment that the Scots never change which doesn't help his case. They are out because they want to apologise to Big Damo for accidentally costing him the EPW British Atlas Championship last week and each individually say sorry to the Irish heavyweight. We are reminded by Mauro Ranallo that he did not look happy with them after the match ended before chasing them to the backstage area. 'Beast' by Neil McDougall plays to a mixed reaction when Damo marches out in hot pursuit. It looks clear he is not looking to mend any fences with a lead pipe in hand. As soon as he hits the ring he decks Brookside in the ribs with the weapon before knocking Taylor down. He then turns to Finlay who is begging for him to settle down. Apparently the boss will not be happy if Damo puts his hands on him too. The man beast doesn't care and knocks Finlay on his arse with the pipe. The crowd are going wild. Suddenly security pours out from the back. They fill the ring. It takes time but they soon restrain Damo whilst William Regal soon appears. As they drag him to the backstage area, the commissioner yells that The Beast From Belfast is suspended indefinitely for his actions which garners a negative reaction from the crowd. Big Damo is dragged away as Regal calls for medical attention for his security team. #1 Contender's Match Jinny Couture (with Laura Di Matteo) vs. Kay Lee Ray Another big home town pop for Scotland's first lady of wrestling who is competing for a title shot in her home country. It has been a while since Kay Lee Ray has wrestled in her home country and she sure looks happy to be back. The mood turns sour when Jinny Couture enters with Laura Di Matteo by her side. The Million Pound Woman may have been destroyed in her title match last week however looks focused to get back in the mix. She has invested heavily in her hired help in Laura Di Matteo who is ringside with her. The match begins with the home town girl in charge. This match is for a title shot in a few week's time at EPW Live #110: The Scottish Supershow and we would assume that The Killer would take her title shot in her home town if she wins. The Sicilian Shooter distracts her from ringside though a couple of minutes in leading to Jinny rolling her up with a School Girl and then blasting her with a Super Kick to turn the tables. We see a ruthless side to Couture for a while as she attempts to become #1 contender yet again. A loss here could see her drop out of the title picture for a long time. The heel attempts a Superplex however the two-time former champion holds on to avoid the move. The high-flyer from Scotland pulls off a Tornado DDT out of the corner before pulling off the Swanton Bomb for the cover. The referee counts. Laura Di Matteo pulls her associate's foot on to the bottom rope. This angers Kay Lee Ray who sends the lackey crashing in to the barricade with a Baseball Slide. As she gets back in, Couture goes for a Running Punt Kick. The Killer moves and then drills her with the Gory Bomb to hook the leg. The three is counted. Kay Lee Ray is victorious and is the new #1 contender. The fans approve of the result. The dream of Viper vs. Kay Lee Ray in their home country for the gold has become a reality. The champion is seen looking on from the backstage area with a smile on her face watching on a monitor. The card for EPW Live #110: The Scottish Supershow just got even better. Jennifer Louise is standing by in the locker room with Zack Sabre Jr. He informs us that William Regal informed him moments ago that he will not be able to compete for a singles title for three months after his loss last week in the Junior Division Tournament. The Technical Wizard admits that he just wants to get his hands on Josh Bodom after he disrespected after he offered him a handshake after the match. He sure hopes whoever faces the champion next shows him a lesson in respect. Will Ospreay interrupts the interview before apologising to both the interviewer and the interviewee. The Aerial Assassin couldn't help but overhear Sabre Jr. saying that he cannot compete for singles gold for three months because he has been given the same thing too by the commissioner. The two men look at each other before Sabre Jr. asks Ospreay if he's thinking the same thing that he is. Ospreay responds by claiming that he's just got Nando's chicken on his mind and then breaking out a smile. The two shake hands. Sabre Jr. then tells us that we are looking at the newest partnership in the tag team division. As they walk away, Ospreay is heard asking Sabre Jr. if they can still go to Nando's for some chicken and Sabre Jr. asks whether he looks like he eats Nando's. Mark Haskins (with Vicky Haskins) vs. Joe Coffey Wolfgang defeated Jimmy Havoc earlier tonight to put The Glaswegian Assembly in contention for a future title shot. All it is going to take now is for Joe Coffey to win to guarantee they get their desired match. The Iron Man walks out to a rowdy crowd who are chanting along with his Black Sabbath theme music. He also has a Scottish flag draped over his shoulder which gets a cheer when he swings it round over his head in the ring. Mark Haskins is accompanied by his wife and they receive a frosty reception. He seems to care more about the match than the fans though. Just like his tag partner earlier, Coffey dominates the opening minutes. The ex-champion is launched around the ring with various power moves until he manages to fight back with a Shotgun Dropkick and a Tornado DDT to maintain control. Haskins works on the knees of his opponent for a while. McGuinness predicts that he is setting up for his finisher; the Low Sharpshooter. It also isn't a bad idea to try and keep the Scottish heavyweight off his feet. We eventually see Coffey attempt a come back. He charges forward for the Discus Lariat but is tripped by Vicky Haskins. The referee didn't see it. The Iron Man argues with the official to ban her. The distraction gives Haskins time to recover and blasts Coffey with a Running Chop Block. He locks on the Low Sharpshooter. Many men have tapped in this submission. Coffey finds the strength to pull himself to the rope for a break though which got the crowd rallying behind the babyface. The Hellbent Anti-Hero soon found himself the victim of another comeback and is sent spinning with the Big Swing. Coffey motions for the Discus Lariat. Vicky Haskins sees red and distracts the referee. As Mark Haskins stands, he pulls out a bag of powder from the turnbuckle pad. He tries to open it however Coffey grabs it from him and throws it to ringside. This gives Haskins time to nail him with a Low Blow. The Iron Man is downed with a small package with the tights hooked for good measure. The three is counted. The official hasn't seen any of the rule breaking and awards the match to Mark Haskins. The Glaswegian Assembly will not challenge The Sanguinary for the EPW British Tag Team Championships. The winner quickly retreats to flee up the ramp. In the mean time, Joe Coffey argues with the referee about the decision. The last break ends. Nick Aldis makes his way down to the ring to cheers from the crowd, dressed in a black suit and the EPW British Atlas Championship strapped around his waist. The National Treasure is glad to be here in Scotland. The fans are happy to see him. He explains what a great moment last week was however it would mean nothing if he isn't the champion that the Atlas Division deserves. A champion that battles with honour, dignity, respect and most importantly class. Aldis carries on by revealing that as part of his deal to come to EPW he would be allowed to hand pick his first challenger if he won the title. Now he stands here before the great fans of Scotland to welcome down a man that he believes has been overlooked since arriving to English Pro Wrestling and it's about time he got the break he deserves; Drew Galloway. The Scottish born hero walks down the aisle nodding his head at the ear drum shattering reaction he receives. He has honed his craft across the globe. Now he finally returns to his home country in front of a sell out crowd. Upon arriving in the ring, he and Aldis shake hands. Galloway begins by thanking the champion for this opportunity. The Celtic Colossus can't begin to show how much this means to him and to get the chance to win gold here in Scotland on a big stage is a dream. Aldis responds, in the most polite way possible, that this may be a dream match but it doesn't necessarily mean we are going to see a dream ending. The two then have a short, uneasy stare down for a moment until Galloway once again extends his hand. His counterpart accepts. These two will go one-on-one for the EPW British Atlas Championship. It seems respectful enough right now but how long will that last? Steel Cage Tornado Tag Team Match Pete Dunne & Joe Hendry vs. Nathan Cruz & Sha Samuels The crew put up the structure whilst the pairing representing The Corporate Entourage make their way down to ringside. They look ready to do William Regal's dirty work for him and take out not just Pete Dunne but their former ally Joe Hendry too. The Prestigious One, who tonight is introduced as his former nickname The Local Hero, stomps down the aisle with purpose to a great reaction. He waits at the bottom of the ramp for his partner who gets cheered too. They enter the battlefield but Nathan Cruz and Sha Samuels stall for as long as they can. Eventually both teams stand on opposing sides of the ring ready to fight. The bell rings and the match starts. Hendry suddenly blasts his partner with a sucker punch. Cruz and Samuels quickly rush over to join in a beat down. It soon becomes clear that this was a plan all along. The arena fills with boos whilst the corporate trio launch the reigning champion in to each side of the steel cage. He tries to fight back with a Double Clothesline on Cruz and Samuels but Hendry wipes him out with the Olympic Slam. The Prestigious One then pulls a couple of cable ties from his trunks. Trash is being launched in to the ring as the fans are forced to watch Pete Dunne tied up on to the cage and beaten like a dog by the three men in the ring. William Regal shows his face to jeers. The evil commissioner watches on throws a steel chair over the cage to his troops to do more damage to the champion with. Sha Samuels is first to smart hammering The Bruiserweight in the skull with the weapon. He then launches it down when the victim goes limp and bites the cable ties free so that Dunne topples down to the canvas. Joe Hendry now has possession of the chair. The fans in his home country, who were united in cheers as he entered, are now booing as he drills Dunne repeatedly in the ankle with the steel. He then applies the Ankle Lock. William Regal now has a microphone and announces that the new #1 contender to Pete Dunne's EPW World Undisputed Championship is Joe Hendry. The show closes with the champion laid out cold whilst still locked in the submission. It goes without saying this match was thrown out. |

The Sha-man needed this win to shake off last week's first blood match. Good on him. Good use of REALOADED to aid with the progression (and start) of the tournament. Sumei Sakai going over against someone from the main roster is a surprise, but it does give a feel that anyone has a legit shot at this. Best of luck to the XCW Original. Even though Dar's words last week were honourable, he kind of had a receipt coming, which unfortunantly for him came in the form of a belt to the back of the head. Good to see Gallagher still making noise. Not sure if they were rolling the dice or were confident Big Damo would let last week's action slide, but I never saw him as being the forgiving type. Have a feeling this may be the bigging for a face turn for him due to Regal suspending him. Even if it's just a tease, I highly doubt the big man will sit idly for long. Interesting call to have KLR go for the gold while the tournament is in progess, but given the location of #110 it does seem fitting. Hopefuly it will live up expectations from the local crowd. Good in-ring segment with Galloway and Aldis. Not sure how long they'll stay peaceful until fight night, but just like with the women's title bout, this is a good addition to the #110 card, especially given the location. Dunne got hosed in this one. Bet Dunne won't be too pleased when he comes to. Though will he more hostile towards those who did a number on him, or himself for not seeing it coming? |
