RELOADED MATCH #1: Katey Harvey defeated Kay Lee Ray via pinfall when Jordan Devlin jogged down to ringside when Kay Lee Ray was setting up for the Swanton Bomb and shoved her down to the canvas which allowed Katey Harvey to roll her opponent up in to a Small Package on the way down to pick up the win and carry on her unbeaten run since arriving several weeks ago. RELOADED MATCH #2: Bram (with Vicky Haskins) defeated Joe Coffey via pinfall with the Brighter Side Of Suffering. After the match, The Chesterfield Plague called for a steel chair which Vicky Haskins handed him. Wolfgang made his return after a few weeks sidelined with an injury to make the save. The Regulator had a face-off with Bram until The Sanguinary's enforcer backed off. RELOADED MATCH #3: TK Cooper defeated Noam Dar via pinfall after he countered the Champagne Super Kneebar attempt, nailed a Running Spear on the rebound and got the win with the Spiral Tap. The match finished with a huge round of applause which led to both men shaking hands in the ring. The underdog from New Zealand now has three straight wins under his belt. EPW Live #115: Battle Lines Once Reloaded wraps up, the main broadcast begins and we are treated to a three hour special this week. A video package builds towards the main focus of the evening; the EPW World Undisputed Championship Match between Pete Dunne and Sha Samuels and the Battle For The Briefcase Ladder Match. Mauro Ranallo, Nigel McGuinness welcome us from their new set up next to the entrance stage. The announce trio are pumped for the action ahead and run down the rest of the card including Josh Bodom defending the EPW British Junior Championship against international high-flyer Angelico, the Klondyke Kate Classic Tournament Final comes to its conclusion in the first 30-Minute Iron Woman Match in the company's history, David Starr goes one-on-one with Zack Gibson, Moustache Mountain challenge The Sanguinary for the EPW British Tag Team Championships and Viper puts her EPW British Women's Championship on the line in one final encounter with Nikki Cross. We throw it to the ring to ring announcer Jim Smallman for what will be his final night with the company. He thanks the fans for over two years of support and thanks English Pro Wrestling for giving him the opportunity to introduce the finest wrestlers to walk that aisle before moving his focus to the opening contest. EPW British Women's Championship Viper (c) vs. Nikki Cross BUILD: Last month's Triple Threat Match between these two rivals and Kay Lee Ray was the first ever match to main event an EPW three hour special and it did not disappoint. The three women delivered arguably the best women's match in company history with the reigning champion retaining her title. The only problem was that in Nikki Cross's mind she was not a loser and still walked away without the belt as she wasn't part of the concluding pinfall. This had led to the feud between herself and Viper to further intensify over the following weeks. The Queen Of Chaos equipped herself with a lead pipe however we have heard that general manager of the women's division Sweet Saraya has confiscated the weapon from Cross before making her entrance. Saraya also request to William Regal that this match open the show citing that it has been a nightmare keeping these two apart in recent weeks. The fans in Manchester are on the heel's back when she marches down the aisle to the sound of 'Glasgow Cross' by CFO$ pulling at her greasy, messed up hair. As she enters the ring, the challenger immediately falls to her knees smashing her hands on the canvas. The champion is given a warm welcome however she looks like she means serious business. The two collide in the middle before the bell can even ring. MATCH HIGHLIGHTS - Viper uses her strength to control the early stages of the match. After executing a Running Powerslam, she attempts a Seated Senton but Nikki Cross avoids the move. The tenacious heel turns the tables with a Chop Block. - Nikki Cross targets the knee of the champion. This strategy proves successful for some time when she is able to repeatedly stomp on the limb, land several elbows on to it and applies a Single Leg Boston Crab. - The challenger's tenacity cannot be denied. Her opponent is struggling to stand on her now injured right leg leading to the intense Glaswegian to drag her back down to the canvas with a Standing Sleeper Hold with a Bodyscissors. - The larger champion finally manages to pull it back with some strikes and a Headbutt which sends Cross stumbling backwards. She then charges forward for a Running Corner Splash however her knee gives way leading to a momentum shift. - The Queen Of Chaos delivers another Chop Block to maintain her dominance. She gets angry at referee Jessika Car after she only counts two following an Arm Trap Neckbreaker. The onslaught from the heel continues though. - The #1 contender starts to get cocky and yells at the fans that she is taking what is hers. Cross climbs to the top rope with a Diving Crossbody in mind. As she flies through the air, she is caught and nailed with a Scoop Slam for the comeback. - The Vixen Of Violence has the crowd behind her as she delivers a Lariat, a Running Cannonball in to the corner and then a Slingshot Splash. She motions for the Viper Driver. Cross wriggles free and gets a final warning by the referee for an eye rake. FINISH: Nikki Cross executes the Inverted DDT on to her knee. With the momentum back in her grasp, she takes a risk by climbing the ropes again. This time she successfully nails her trademark Diving Headbutt; the Hail Storm. The leg is hooked. Jessika Carr counts however the champion kicks out just before three. The irate challenger argues the speed of the count. By the time she turns Viper is up. The champion is hobbling with her right knee looking in a bad way. The suffering continues when she is drilled with a Low Dropkick to the injured body part and takes to her knees. Cross steps back to charge forward for the Shining Wizard. Viper catches her in mid-air though and somehow launches her in to the turnbuckles with a Powerbomb. The champ slowly gets up, scoops Cross up and then drops her with the Viper Driver. Jessika Carr counts three. Viper retains. The fans are delighted but The Vixen Of Violence is in pain. The referee raises her hand whilst Nikki Cross slowly rolls to the floor. The crazed warrior bows her head as she sits in a heap at ringside. All she can do is watch on as Viper's reign rolls on. The commentary team credit both champion and challenger on tremendous performances. Nigel McGuinness and Alex Shane both agree that they saw Viper's knee being a possible key to victory for Nikki Cross however the valiant champion fought back as ever. The fans cry out in boos. The camera soon turns to the video screen where William Regal is sat behind the desk in his office with the entire corporate team behind him. The commissioner reminds us all that he rules with an iron fist and that anybody that crosses him will face the consequences especially Pete Dunne who will be humiliated, beaten and humbled by Sha Samuels. As The East End Butcher nods his head and smiles, Regal continues by thanking Sweet Saraya for giving him an idea after she confiscated Nikki Cross's lead pipe. Apparently if Pete Dunne doesn't hand over that sledgehammer he's been using as an equaliser over the past few months, the boss will strip him of the EPW World Undisputed Championship. Boos echo around the Manchester Arena at this ruling. He finally adds that the match will be conducted under Regal's Rules. We cut back to the commentary desk who all disapprove of the ruling. David Starr vs. Zack Gibson BUILD: David Starr arrived in English Pro Wrestling one month ago with more nicknames than you have had hot dinners. The Product has also been an instant hit with the fans especially after taking reigning champion Pete Dunne to the limit in a classic contest that unfortunately didn't see a winner thanks to outside interference from Sha Samuels. Last week, Starr competed in a Six Man Tag Team Match which resulted in him picking up a three count pin over Zack Gibson. Liverpool's Number One expressed his disgust at what had gone down in a post-match interview and challenged the newcomer to a bout right here tonight to settle this issue. The fans lap up the entrance of David Starr who insists ring announcer Jim Smallman read off his long list of nicknames which each get a pop from the crowd. Eventually his opponent appears with a microphone in hand. Gibson claims that Starr may have more nicknames than anyone in the locker room but he will end up being dropped on his head with the Helter Skelter Brainbuster, having his arm wrapped around his head and being locked in the Shankley Gates. The Philly native takes exception to this. He wipes out Gibson with a Tope Suicida as he gets to the end of the ramp to kick start this match. - David Starr rides the wave of momentum with a smile on his face delivering a Running Knife Edge Chop in to the corner, drops his opponent again with a Han Stansen Clothesline and follows up with a Running Pelvic Thrust. - The fans are well behind Starr as he stomps on his opponent in the corner. The referee eventually pulls him back giving Gibson the opportunity to rush forward and drill him with the Knee Trembler transitioned in to a Falling Neckbreaker. - Zack Gibson manages to keep his opponent grounded for a while working mainly on the neck to set up for the Helter Skelter Brainbuster. He does bring Starr up to drop him down for a Michinoku Driver before slowing the pace again. - The crowd become bored of Gibson's rest hold based offence. Liverpool's Number One reacts to 'boring' chants by smugly pointing at his head. He then follows up with a Running Knee Drop to The Jewish Cannon. - The King Of Scouse Style takes to the second rope for a Diving Elbow Drop. After successfully hitting the move, he hooks the leg but Starr kicks out just after one. Gibson gets irate at the speed of the count in typical heel fashion. - The offence by the heel is cut short when he sets up for the Helter Skelter Starr breaks away and catches his rival with a Superkick. As the fans rally behind him, the babyface delivers his Discus Lariat transitioned in to a Reverse STO. - The Bernie Sanders Of Professional Wrestling trades right hands with Liverpool's Number One on the apron. Gibson teases the Brainbuster on to apron until Starr counters with knees and hits one of his own for a near fall. FINISH: David Starr is firmly in control now after taking a considerable amount of offence. He begins to hook the arms ahead of his Double Arm Trap Piledriver; the Bob Fossil. As he does, Zack Gibson thrusts him in to the corner and then sends him over the ropes with a Clothesline. Liverpool's Number One argues in the ring with the referee. His opponent tries to recover on the outside however he is jumped from behind by a hooded individual who has jumped the barricade. The man soon reveals his identity. It is James Drake. We last saw him at EPW Live #88 when he was defeated by his tag team partner Zack Gibson in a Loser Leaves EPW Match. What is he doing back? The fans boo as Mr. Mayhem launches Starr in to the steel steps with the Irish Whip. Referee Steve Lynskey ends the match resulting in a disqualification. The action is not done yet though. The heels chase off the official before continuing their assault on the victim. Starr goes limp after falling to repeated stomps and is then dragged to his feet where he is drilled with the Wheelbarrow Lungblower. The Product is left laying whilst Zack Gibson demands that he is handed a microphone yet again. He announces that The Grizzled Young Veterans have settled their differences and are reunited before putting every tag team in the locker room on notice. The reunited allies shake hands and soon leave the ring having made an impact Jack Gallagher is talking with a member of the crew when he is approached by Nathan Cruz of The Corporate Entourage. The Prima Donna brings up that the former champion promised he would be bringing a tag team partner to English Pro Wrestling which he has yet to deliver on. He brags that whilst Gallagher has been treading water, he has been over to North America and being a 'true' ambassador of British wrestling. Cruz turns to be confronted by veteran Doug Williams. You can hear the cheers from the arena from the backstage area. Gallagher smiles whilst Williams declares what Cruz did in XCW an absolute disgrace. The British wrestling legend reveals that he got a taste of in-ring action at the XCW vs. EPW Supershow at the Royal Albert Hall last week and feels that he has a lot more left in the tank therefore has agreed to become Jack Gallagher's tag team partner for a little while. The Extraordinary Gentleman asks Cruz whether his question has been answered before challenging him to bring one of his corporate lackies to the ring next week for a tag team match. The Prima Donna agrees however is disappointed that Doug Williams didn't inform William Regal and The Corporate Entourage of his return to the ring. Maybe they could have come to a deal. His best years may be behind him however Cruz admits that he could have been a huge asset to the corporate team before he walks off. The new tag partners stand side by side as the segment comes to a close. EPW British Junior Championship Josh Bodom (c) vs. Angelico BUILD: Since winning his first piece of gold, Josh Bodom has really broken out as a singles star maintaining his spot as the man to beat in the Junior Division. He has beaten the likes of Zack Sabre Jr., Will Ospreay, Jack Gallagher and Noam Dar however tonight poses a completely different challenge altogether. The debuting Angelico accepted the non-title challenge posed by the reigning champion at EPW Live #113 and managed to pick up the pinfall to earn himself a shot at the gold. The South African born high-flyer went on to beat JT Dunn in singles action too last week whilst Josh Bodom watched on from the stage. The challenger has only been here two weeks and the fans dig his high octane style. As the champion struts down the aisle, he is greeted with boos from the Manchester crowd. The Blonde Bomber does not seem phased though. MATCH HIGHLIGHTS - The opening minutes consist of fast paced counters and reversals. Josh Bodom just about manages to keep up with Angelico however is taken down Mid-Air Handstand Overhead Enzuiguri preceded by a Feint Sweep. - Angelico pulls off a Somersault Senton over the ropes on to the champion as his opponent scurried away for a breather. He quickly rolls him in to the ring and delivers a Standing Moonsault for the first two count of the match. - With the crowd behind him, the challenger approaches for a Superkick. Bodom catches it and then blasts him across the jaw with a Stiff Forearm. He then turns the tables with a Bridging German Suplex for another near fall. - Josh Bodom slows down the pace with some grounded offence. He tries to wear down Angelico with repeated stomps and a Running Knee Drop before applying a Stretch Muffler. His opponent counters the submission with a Wheelbarrow Pin. - The match rolls on with the momentum going back and forth. Angelico sets up for a Full Nelson Backbreaker but Bodom elbows his way to safety. He blasts the #1 contender with a Jumping Corkscrew Roundhouse Kick to regain momentum. - The Blonde Bomber delivers a Pop-Up Knee Lift, a Brainbuster and a Standing Shooting Star Press in quick succession. He then poses to the crowd who continue which amps up the heat aimed at him. This proves to be a mistake. - The Ultimate Air Devil makes another come back when he blasts Bodom with a Superkick and sends him crashing in to the turnbuckles with a Shotgun Dropkick. He takes to the ropes for the Superman Senton but Bodom escapes the ring again. FINISH: As the champion grabs his title, it becomes clear he is taking the coward's way out and will take a count out loss to retain. Angelico is having none of it. He quickly rushes to retrieve Josh Bodom and drags him back to the ring with a struggle. They reach the apron. The Blonde Bomber pulls off a rake to the eyes to his opponent. The referee warns him but the champion takes full advantage of the situation quickly executing the Bliss Buster from the second rope. He hooks the leg whilst yelling at the official to count who reluctantly does. Chris Roberts reaches three. Josh Bodom retains the EPW British Junior Championship. Ever the opportunist, The Blonde Bomber once again steals a victory against a worthy opponent who looked like he could take the title from him on multiple occasions. The retaining champ snatches his belt from ringside and returns to the ring to celebrate in front of an angry crowd. Bodom disrespectfully places one foot over the chest of his grounded opponent. He lifts the belt over his head. The reign of terror continues. You can say what you want about Josh Bodom but there's no denying that he is one smart, opportunistic, hungry competitor. Once the ring is clear, we get a surprise appearance from Jinny Couture who is followed by Laura Di Matteo and another unidentified female who none of the commentary team recognise. Jinny explains that what we see before them is her new team collectively know as The House Of Couture. After hyping her Italian born hired gun Laura Di Matteo, she introduces the world to her latest recruit; Chakara. They intend on ensuring that the EPW British Women's Championship ends up around the waist of their leader. Out comes Sweet Saraya who doesn't look fond at the formation of this newfound faction. As long as she is in charge of the women's division, she refuses to watch on as anybody cuts corners to get to the top. Especially an entitled, rich, spoilt brat like Jinny. You can see Di Matteo and Chakara both getting fired up by the GM of the women's division's words however Couture stops them from approaching. The Resident Fashionista announces that there is nobody in the locker room that can stop The House Of Couture. At this point, 'Hurt You' by Jim Johnston plays over the speakers and the name 'Katie Lea' appears on the video screen. The EPW wrestler formerly known as Nikita makes her way down the aisle with a smile on her face. The crowd give her a warm welcome back and she shakes hands with Sweet Saraya as she enters the ring. Over the past several years Katie Lea has won titles all over the globe but tells the EPW crowd that she is proud to be back home. As the fans continue to cheer her on, the veteran tells Jinny that she didn't come back to get a cheap pop. She is back to become EPW British Women's Champion. It looks like the aspirations of these two clash. Katie Lea follows up by asking Sweet Saraya for a piece of Jinny Couture. Jinny and Laura Di Matteo hesitate however the newcomer Chakara steps up. She challenges Katie Lea herself and wants to put the veteran in her place on behalf of her new ally. Sweet Saraya books the match for next week. The two women face off in the middle however Chakara's two stable mates jump Katie Lea from behind. They put the boots to her until the former XCW Intercontinental Champion battles back. She sends The House Of Couture packing each with Clotheslines to the floor. The segment closes with Sweet Saraya holding up the arm of the returning Katie Lea. EPW British Tag Team Championships The Sanguinary (c) (with Vicky Haskins) vs. Moustache Mountain BUILD: Tyler Bate returned from injury to reform his tag team with Trent Seven immediately setting their sights on tag team gold. In the mean time, The Sanguinary regained their gold from The Glaswegian Assembly four weeks ago. They eventually answered the challenge by making them run a gauntlet over the course of two weeks seeing both The Bombardier Of Battery and The Iron Master taking on Bram in individual singles matches. The challengers both won their matches setting up this bout with the gold at stake. Jimmy Havoc and Mark Haskins picked up arguably the biggest victory of their career as a pairing at the XCW vs. EPW Supershow earlier this week over The Dudley Boyz. Their next challenge is to battle the ex-champions who are welcomed to the ring with the warmest reaction so far of the night. This is the first time Trent Seven and Tyler Bate have teamed in several months. They haven't had the chance to work off the ring rust so the advantage goes to the champions. The Sanguinary make their way down with Vicky Haskins in their corner. She could prove to be trouble if the referee's back is turned if history is anything to go by. MATCH HIGHLIGHTS - It is like Moustache Mountain haven't missed a trick. They go right on the offensive. Jimmy Havoc falls victim to a Double Suplex and Synchronised Elbow Drops early on. They use quick tags to ride the wave of momentum. - Trent Seven takes it to Mark Haskins nailing him with a Running Overhand Chop in the corner, drills him with a Spinning Back Fist and then sends him spinning with an Airplane Spin. He then drops him with a European Uppercut. - Vicky Haskins pulls her husband out to safety leading to Trent Seven attempting to follow up with a Running Suicide Dive through the ropes. As Mark Haskins scouts it, he counters with a Forearm Smash to the skull. - The Sanguinary take the chance to beat down Trent Seven. He keeps trying to get the tag. They use typical heel isolation tactics to keep him cornered. They get a two count with an Assisted Diving Double Foot Stomp. - As Tyler Bate revs up the crowd to get behind his tag partner, Jimmy Havoc wears down The Bombardier Of Battery even more. The King Of The Goths chokes the life out of him with a Sleeper Hold. - The come back comes in the end when Seven wriggles free from the Go Home Driver, clocks him with a Penalty Kick and blasts his opponent with the Seven Stars Lariat. The crowd are unglued. He tags in Tyler Bate who takes everyone out. - Tyler Bate is well and truly back. The grappler from Dudley executes a Running European Uppercut, a Bop and Bang Sucker Punch and finally a Rolling Wheel Kick to each of his opponents. Haskins is then sent spinning with the Big Swing. FINISH: Tyler Bate is full of fire. He climbs up the ropes with the Spiral Tap in mind. The Iron Master dives and hits the move successfully. The count is made but Jimmy Havoc breaks it just before three. Trent Seven soon disposes of The King Of The Goths though. The two illegal men begin to brawl around the ring. In the mean time, Tyler Bate sets up for the Tyler Driver '97. Haskins takes to one knee at the final moment and crotches him with a Low Blow. His wife is on the apron distracting the referee. Whilst she steps back down, Haskins rolls Bate up in to a Small Package and the referee turns to count. Trent Seven tries to make the save. Jimmy Havoc stops him from getting back in the ring and he is forced to watch the referee's hand count three. The Sanguinary steal the victory. The retaining champions quickly flee the ringside area. As the referee hands them their belts at the bottom of the ramp, Moustache Mountain discuss where it all went wrong and soon come to the conclusion that they have been screwed. Havoc and Haskins slowly back away up the aisle grinning from ear to ear. This was not the way Moustache Mountain wanted to return to the tag team division. Hopefully justice is done and they get another opportunity to become champions in the near future though. Jennifer Louise is standing by in the backstage area with TK Cooper who has finally turned his luck around in recent weeks with three consecutive wins under his belt. The underdog from New Zealand reveals that he has also put on 7lbs of muscle meaning that he is now technically under the Atlas weight category rather than the Junior category. He intends on making the most of this and will do anything to prove himself as the next worthy challenger to Nick Aldis's EPW British Atlas Championship. At this moment he is approached by the man himself who has a smirk on his face. The National Treasure stops the interviewee in his tracks and claims he has a long way to go before he can honestly stake a claim for a shot at his gold. Aldis continues by declaring that only the very elite wrestlers are worthy of challenging for his belt. He doesn't believe Cooper has the ability, technique or class to even share the ring with him. As TK tries to speak up for himself, Aldis tells him he has bigger things to think about as the Battle For The Briefcase is up next. He barges past his kiwi counterpart and makes his way to gorilla. Battle For The Briefcase Drew Galloway vs. Jordan Devlin vs. Nick Aldis vs. Travis Banks vs. Will Ospreay vs. Zack Sabre Jr. BUILD: This is the 3rd annual Battle For The Briefcase Ladder Match with a shot at the EPW World Undisputed Championship on the line. The winner can cash in that shot at any time they see fit. The first match saw Pete Dunne use it to catapult his way to his first reign as champion. Travis Banks won the second match last year however lost the briefcase in a match against Mark Haskins who went on to win the gold himself. This golden opportunity is one that these men cannot afford to let slip through their fingers. First out is last year's winner Travis Banks who is determined to go the whole way and win the title this time round. The defeat to Mark Haskins which saw him lose the briefcase caused The Kiwi Buzzsaw turn on his long-time partner TK Cooper, an immediate change in attitude and the formation of his Australasian Strong Style faction consisting of himself and The Aussie Open. Jordan Devlin is out next. The relative newcomer is hoping this will be his launching pad to the main events after already impressing everybody with pinfall wins over Chris Brookes, Jack Gallagher and TK Cooper. The fans are not on board with his arrogant persona though. Will Ospreay is the third entrant to the ring. This is his second opportunity in the Battle For The Briefcase coming extremely close to winning the first one before being pipped to the post by eventual winner and current champ Pete Dunne. Next out is his tag partner Zack Sabre Jr. who will be looking to get another chance at becoming EPW World Undisputed Champion after falling short in his last attempt against ex-champion Mark Haskins at EPW Live #95 thanks to outside interference from Marty Scurll. Drew Galloway marches down the aisle with an intense demeanour. A win over Zack Gibson secured him his place in his first Battle For The Briefcase however he has another reason to be fired up tonight; the chance to get a hold of Nick Aldis. The EPW British Atlas Champion struts down the aisle looking like he means business. Galloway charges up to meet him on the ramp and the two immediately start trading rights. The four men in the ring begin to fight. The referee rings the bell. Let's let the Battle For The Briefcase commence! MATCH HIGHLIGHTS - Nick Aldis and Drew Galloway's brawl spills in to the crowd. The fans go crazy as they go back and forth for a good five minutes. The Celtic Colossus eventually leads The National Treasure back to ringside where they continue. - Zack Sabre Jr. and Will Ospreay form an alliance in the early stages to fend off Jordan Devlin and Travis Banks. Once they're done though, they have a fast-paced exchanged amongst themselves before bringing a ladder in to play. - As Devlin and Banks decide to get revenge, they send Sabre Jr. over the ropes with a Double Suplex on to a ladder set up at ringside. They show boat afterwards but Ospreay dives on to them with a Shooting Star Press off a ladder in the ring. - Nick Aldis uses a ladder in the ring to beat down on Drew Galloway however the brawler from Scotland refuses to stay down. He eventually wraps a ladder around Aldis's head before drilling him with the Claymore. - Drew Galloway looks like the strongest competitor as we hit the mid-point of the match. That is until Travis Banks launches a ladder his way, clips him with the Slice Of Heaven and using a ladder to lock on the Lion's Clutch. - Jordan Devlin gets an opportunity to shine too. He drops Travis Banks from mid-way up the ladder with his finisher; the Package Piledriver. The antagonist from Ireland tries to climb the ladder but is stopped by Sabre Jr. and Ospreay. - Both members of Hybrid Theory are back in it however once again they face off against one another. Stiff strikes are exchanged however Zack Sabre Jr. drops his partner with a Rolling Elbow and a Running Penalty Kick. FINISH: Zack Sabre Jr. climbs up the ladder with the briefcase in sight. In the mean time, his usual tag partner Will Ospreay has recovered and springs himself from the apron to the other side of the ladder. They begin trading blows as they reach the top. Sabre Jr. clocks Ospreay with a High Kick to get the better of him. He then manages to hold on to the ladder whilst applying a Cross Armbreaker at the top of the ladder. After a few moments, he releases the hold and Ospreay drops to the canvas from the top of the ladder. This leaves The Technical Wizard slowly trying to re-adjust himself to grab hold of the briefcase. Before he can do so he is crotched with a Low Blow by Nick Aldis who has crept back in. The National Treasure then follows up with a Powerbomb on Sabre Jr. in from the rung of the ladder in to the turnbuckles. As Sabre Jr. staggers out, Aldis clotheslines him over the ropes before quickly darting up the ladder. The grin on his face reaches from ear to ear. The EPW British Atlas Champion climbs each rung with determination as boos fill the arena. Suddenly Drew Galloway slides back in to the ring citing a ray of hope for the fans. He has his arch-enemy in sight and climbs the other side of the ladder. It must be fate that it is these two men left. Bitter rivals. They trade stiff punches until Galloway begins to get the better of Aldis. He looks up and tries to unhook the briefcase. The Celtic Colossus struggles to pull the briefcase free. This gives Aldis the second he needed to grip his hands around it and blast Galloway in the face three times with it. The brawler from Scotland is knocked off the ladder. He hits the canvas with a thud. Nick Aldis unhooks the briefcase to win the match. The National Treasure stands on top of the ladder as the bell rings. As his music plays, he proudly lifts his newly won prize above his head and the crowd begin to hurl trash at him. The EPW British Atlas Champion returned to the United Kingdom just a few months ago a hero. Now he sits above the mountain top as one of the most hated figures in the company but all he cares about is that he has a shot at the EPW World Undisputed Championship whenever he sees fit to take it. The crew do a great job of clearing the carnage of the previous match. Next up is an in-ring segment and Alex Shane will be having an exclusive interview with El Ligero. The interesting thing about this is the high-flyer has never spoken on camera before. There are a lot of questions in the minds of the fans right now after The Masked Sensation has what appears to be reluctantly turned his back on the fans and joined The Corporate Entourage. Many are still asking why. Hopefully this interview will clear it up. After entering the ring, Alex Shane cuts straight to the question on everybody's minds; why Ligero why? Before he can talk they are interrupted by the sound of Joe Hendry's music. The Prestigious One joins them in the ring. It is Hendry who appears to be the main man controlling Ligero these days. He takes the microphone from the interviewer amongst an arena full of boos and asks Ligero when he gave him permission to come out here for this. The masked man bows his head in shame whilst Hendry yells at him to get to the back before he tells everybody exactly what El Ligero is really like. When pressed by Alex Shane exactly what he means by that, Hendry tells us that he found out a little information about everybody's favourite luchador which proves that the mask he wears hides a very dark secret. The arrogant heel continues by ordering Ligero to the back otherwise he will expose him to the world for the fraud he really is. An evidently frustrated Ligero holds his head down once again and leaves for the back. Before Hendry leaves, he guarantees that by the end of the night The Corporate Entourage will be in possession of the EPW World Undisputed Champion whilst Pete Dunne lies in a heap of humiliation. He exits to nuclear heat as the commentary team move the focus to the following contest. Klondyke Kate Classic Final 30-Minute Iron Woman Match Millie McKenzie vs. Xia Brookside BUILD: The Round Robin Tournament started with four qualifying matches. Australia's Madison Eagles, Japan's Sumie Sakai and England's Millie McKenzie and Xia Brookside all qualified however the tournament ended with both English competitors leading with two wins each. Sweet Saraya made the decision to place them in a deciding 30-Minute Iron Woman Match with the winner earning themselves a future shot at the EPW British Women's Championship. It is a massive opportunity for two such young competitors both under the age of 20. The legend herself Klondyke Kate is sat at ringside alongside the general manager of the women's division Sweet Saraya who together thought up this competition to celebrate the evolution of women's wrestling in this country. Both women make their way down the aisle to cheers from the crowd. Neither are disliked by the Manchester crowd. The trophy sits at ringside ready for the winner to claim. This is truly the opportunity to really break out for the winner of this match. MATCH HIGHLIGHTS - The first few minutes of the match is a clear feeling out stage. They exchange holds, counters and some early pinfall attempts. Both know they have to go the distance so don't want to use up too much energy early on. - Both women seem to be well versed on the canvas and nothing really separates them. Once they get to a vertical base, Brookside locks on an Abdominal Stretch which McKenzie escapes however it has given Brookside the edge. - Xia Brookside avoids a German Suplex by reversing the move in to a School Girl in to the bottom turnbuckle. After a failed pin attempt, The Wildcat decides to use this to her advantage and targets the neck. - After some stomps and rest holds targeted at the neck, Brookside executes a Brainbuster for a two count. She follows up with a Shining Wizard for another failed pin attempt and you can see her start to get frustrated. - Millie McKenzie catches her opponent in mid-air during a Running Crossbody attempt to deliver a T-Bone Suplex for a two count of her own. The commentary team remind us that McKenzie has mastered her suplexes. - Things start to get a little more nasty as we reach ten minutes. The chops get harder, the kicks get stiffer and they don't hold back on the rest either. McKenzie manages to hammer Brookside with several shoot kicks in a kneeled position. - As the match rolls on, McKenzie begins to pick up the momentum herself. She attempts a Bridging Tiger Suplex. Brookside rolls through on execution and surprises her opponent with a Springboard Bulldog for the first three count. - The score is 1-0 in favour of The Wildcat. The pinfall has triggered a change in behaviour from McKenzie who delivers a Running Spear before repeatedly stomping down on her opponent in the corner. - McKenzie delivers three variations of the Suplex before climbing to the top for a Frog Splash. Brookside tries to counter with an Avalanche Frankensteiner but on the way down, Millie switches to a Sit-Out Powerbomb for three. - They are tied at 1 each as we reach eighteen minutes. McKenzie goes for a Northern Lights Suplex but it is reversed in to a Tornado DDT. Brookside charges forward for a Superkick. McKenzie catches her in a Small Package for two. - Brookside delivers a Clothesline over the ropes with ten minutes to go. She then runs at her opponent on the outside but is scooped up and nailed with a Powerslam in to the barrier. McKenzie returns to the ring. Brookside is counted out. - The crowd aren't fans of the count out decision. Millie McKenzie doesn't seem to care what the fans think any more though now she is in the lead. Brookside returns to the ring and is further beaten down by her opponent. - The score is 2-1 in favour of McKenzie. After delivering another German Suplex, she follows up with a Springboard Leg Drop for a near fall in an attempt to widen the gap. Brookside refuses to give up with only minutes left. - McKenzie applies a Standing Sleeper however Brookside escapes through the legs and then rolls in to the Liontamer. The submission is locked on. McKenzie holds on for a while but has nowhere to go. She taps with three minutes to go. FINISH: The crowd get behind Xia Brookside now with just a couple of minutes left on the clock. Millie McKenzie cuts her off with a Leg Lariat and nails her with a couple more suplexes to wear her down. The momentum is now with Millie McKenzie so she hooks the leg for the Fisherman's Suplex before Xia Brookside escapes the move. With seconds to go, she forges a comeback and nails the Ace Crusher for a final three count to make it 3-2. Both climb to their feet and trade blows as the bell rings. They drop to their feet in a heap. Xia Brookside is victorious. Tears flow from her eyes as the trophy is brought in to the ring by Klondyke Kate. As she waits, both competitors sit next to each other physically spent. McKenzie then hugs Brookside to a huge standing ovation from the crowd. The show of respect is evident. They eventually both help each other up before McKenzie takes the trophy from Klondyke Kate to hand it over to the winner. What a tournament. What a final. What a match. Xia Brookside takes to each turnbuckle to salute the fans. It is an emotional moment however what we witnessed was the future of women's wrestling in this country and it's certainly looking bright. Jennifer Louise catches up with The Sanguinary who are still in possession of their EPW British Tag Team Championships. Mark Haskins is vocal that they have proved without a shadow of a doubt that they are willing to do whatever it takes to keep hold of these belts and their reign of terror over the tag team division is far from over. Jimmy Havoc pipes up with some harrowing words for the rest of the locker room. The King Of The Goths claims that they have been being too soft and it is about time that they showed the locker room what suffering is all about. As his partners nod in approval, Havoc tells us that he won't be happy until The Sanguinary rule over the EPW kingdom. He doesn't care whether that ruffles any corporate feathers. The Sanguinary has bigger plans than the tag team division apparently which will become clear once the time is right. Jennifer Louise seems puzzled by this statement. Her plans to ask any more questions are thwarted when the faction barge past her whilst walking away. EPW World Undisputed Championship Pete Dunne (c) vs. Sha Samuels (with William Regal) BUILD: The rivalry between Pete Dunne and William Regal rolls on as the commissioner sends yet another one of his army to attempt to dethrone the champion. The Bruiserweight's reign begin back at EPW Live #100: This Is England when he beat Mark Haskins for the gold and he has retained against the likes of Nathan Cruz and Joe Hendry since. This is arguably his biggest challenge to date. Sha Samuels returned to English Pro Wrestling as part of The Corporate Entourage several weeks ago. The East End Butcher has since made an impact while winning a #1 contender's elimination match last month to earn this title match. Over the last month, he and Dunne have traded scraps, with the reigning champ almost taking Sha's head off with his trusty sledgehammer last week. The corporate heel enters alongside his boss who has Dunne's sledgehammer. Footage is shown from earlier of Regal's security team confiscating the sledgehammer from Pete Dunne. A risky task considering the amount of times he has beaten those three with that very object over the last few months. This match will also be conducting under Regal's Rules meaning DQ's do not apply for Sha Samuels however Pete Dunne will have to play within the rules. Pete Dunne gets the pop of the night when he marches down to the ring with that scowl across his face and his title gripped firmly in between his teeth. These two brawlers will not hold back. The bell rings. Here we go. MATCH HIGHLIGHTS - The two engage in a small amount of technical wrestling to start. Pete Dunne gets the better of the more experienced brawler. Sha Samuels isn't happy about this so ends up just drilling him square in the mouth with a closed fist. - Sha Samuels takes full advantage of Regal's Rules early on with a kick between the leg followed up by a rake to the eyes. This gives him the chance to execute a T-Bone Suplex and the chance to bring a steel chair in to play. - William Regal watches on from ringside whilst his ally beats down his enemy with a steel chair. Samuels goes as far as to choking his opponent with the end of it. Dunne rolls to the outside for a breather and the #1 contender sets up a table. - The East End Butcher tries to nail Dunne with the Spinebuster through the table however Dunne escapes. After warning off the commissioner, the champ sends his rival back in the ring and begins to target his fingers. - Pete Dunne follows up with a Double Foot Stomp out of the corner, a Forearm Smash and the Rolling Release Suplex for the come back. He teases the Bitter End however Samuels elbows his way to safety. - As the challenger really begins to struggle, Regal pulls out the sledgehammer from under the ring. The commentary team question whether that is the one he confiscated from Dunne earlier. - The Bruiserweight applies the Regal Stretch whilst staring right at the commissioner with a grin on his face. The boss gets in the ring with the sledgehammer however Dunne releases the hold and Regal backs away. - The distraction gave Sha Samuels the opportunity to make one last attempt at a come back. He executes the Spinning Spinebuster on to a chair for a near fall before nailing him with a Snap DDT on the apron. FINISH: Sha Samuels has the champion hanging on the ropes whilst he repeatedly hammers him with knees to the side of the skull. This is sickening to watch. Pete Dunne begins to bleed from the moth as he rolls back and holds on to the apron. The table is positioned behind him. The East End Butcher scales back with evil intentions. He charges forward to nail a Running Spear through the ropes down to the table. As he gets there, Dunne staggers to one side and Samuels crashes through the table himself. The Bruiserweight shrugs before smiling at William Regal who is clutching the sledgehammer at ringside. The commissioner has seen enough. He enters the ring to try and nail Dunne with the weapon. Instead he falls victim to the Bitter End. The crowd go nuts as he quickly rushes out to retrieve his opponent. He nails him with the Bitter End too leading to a three count. Pete Dunne retains once again against the odds in a short but sweet main event brawl. Members of The Corporate Entourage spill out from the backstage area to go after the retaining champion however he takes his sledgehammer and exits through the crowd. They all help up their boss. As they look over, Dunne is right in the middle of the rowdy crowd in Manchester with his title hoisted over his head. The show closes with the image of the corporate team watching him celebrate amongst the crowd wondering how he did it again. Edited by UK-Joe, Jun 26 2018, 08:16 PM.

- Viper and Nikki Cross was an awesome opener. Really thought Cross had this won, but Viper is an animal in that ring. I liked the chemistry of Cross "chopping down the legs" of Viper throughout. It put Nikki over as a real contender (even if she loss), but further cements Viper as a tough champion. I wanted Cross to win, but after reading it - I was totally behind Viper going over. She's definitely someone I wouldn't mind having a lengthy reign. (Candidly, I think Viper is the best "big woman" in the business today). - I really like the post-match thoughts from the announcers. Kinda old school, in the best possible way. Gives legitimacy to matches and their results. Very "MMA" like. - I'm enjoying the Regal/Dunne feud. Dunne is a modern day Austin in EPW - and it works REALLY well. I'm so used to Regal as a face in NXT, that I forget how awesome of a heel he can be. I like him in this heel authority role. - "David Starr arrived in English Pro Wrestling one month ago with more nicknames than you have had hot dinners" -- love this line. Laughed out loud. - I really appreciated the BUILD summary before matches. Jumping into EPW later than most, it gave me a chance to be invested. I'm not going to lie - I may need to borrow that concept - excellent idea.- The Zack Gibson/James Drake reunion seems odd (given Gibson ended Drake's career). Hope this is explained more as time goes on. Definitely unexpected - I like the pairing of Jack Gallagher and Doug Williams. For whatever reason, it just blends well. A legend and an upstart of Jack's nature just blends REALLY well. - I'm REALLY surprised Angelico didn't go over, but happy he didn't. It wouldn't been too fast. I love how you book your champions. Every title holder feels like they are a SUPER BOSS at the end of a game. They are tenacious, really hard to beat, and some have some very sneaky ways to stay on top. It's excellent booking and keeps me invested in your title matches. Kudos! - "House Of Couture" - love that name. I love that this stables debut was interrupted by another return/debut of Katie Lea. Good, old school way to build up a solid midcard feud in the women's division. I'm a bit confused though, is she still an XCW wrestler? Would've been nice to explain how the XCW wrestler's appearance is a huge shock to fans - I just automatically thought she was in the EPW now. - UGH! I really wanted Moustache Mountain to win - but love the booking of their loss. I can totally see a rematch on the way with some sort of stip - like a tag team steel cage match. - I'm not a super big fan of Nick Aldis, personally, so I wasn't thrilled he won the briefcase. Personally hoped for Galloway or Zack - but, the way you book EPW, I'm looking forward to seeing how you book Aldis moving forward. - Solid Iron-woman match. I'm not super familiar with Xia, and only slightly familiar with Millie, but it was cool to see two young guns so high in the card. I was hoping for a Viper/Xia moment, but given Viper's knee injury, probably best to let her sell that injury going into a future title defense. - The booking of Dunne vs. Regal is EXCELLENT. Sha Samuels somewhat comes off as a lackey though - but, perhaps that's because I'm jumping in late. The angle is a nice homage to McMahon/Austin, but upgraded and evolved. Dunne is one of my favorites in the FBL lore - definitely the right man to hold the gold I'm intrigued to see if Regal will be willing to get back in the ring one time to face Dunne himself or not - but if so, I'd imagine Dunne loses the gold first (so Dunne WANTS to face Regal 1-on-1). Excellent show, through and through. I didn't see one weak moment - love how EPW is booked and I find myself enjoying it more now knowing more of the UK scene these days. Great job! |

Solid line up for RELOADED. Glad to see TK Cooper pick up another W. Hopefully he can keep up the momentum. Was a close one, but glad to see Viper come out with the win in this one. Nikki gave her a huge run for her money though, but excellent timed counter which lead to the finish. Interesting decision by Regal early on about forcing Dunne to turn over the sledge, though a small part of me is a bit surprised he didn’t try that sooner. The “David Starr arrived in English Pro Wrestling one month ago with more nicknames than you have had hot dinners” comment reminds me of the time at one show I reffed where Rob Rage had the ring announcer introduce him with what had to be at least seven nicknames back to back (and forgot that he was the defending champion, but got off the hook), sometimes little things like that really stand out. As for the match, didn’t expect to see a team reunion here. We’ll see if it works out for them. Gallagher and Williams as a team? Didn’t see this coming, but it is a welcoming surprise. Bodom does it again, nothing more can be said about that. Nice debut(I mean return) of Katie Lea. As much as I enjoyed her run in XCW, the time was right for her to move on. Looking forward to see how she fares in EPW. Rough loss for Moustache Mountain, but gotta think momentum gained by the win by the opposition over the Dudleys recently was a difference maker. Here’s hoping they can shake off the loss and get back at it. This was not the way Moustache Mountain wanted to return to the tag team division. Hopefully justice is done and they get another opportunity to become champions in the near future though. The Battle for the Briefcase could have gone either way. Not sure if going with Aldis was the right direction to go with (with matches like this there’s so many possibilities), but I’m sure his time with the briefcase won’t be uneventful. Got a feeling Joe Hendry’s comments might like to a match for El Ligero’s mask soon. With the build-up of the event alone, both Millie and Xia deserved to get this far. Despite coming out on the losing end hopefully Millie can recover from the loss and use the momentum from the match here and the rest of the tournament to go forward. As far Xia goes, while the win is an achievement to be proud of, the pressure is now on her to do more. Can she live up to it? Luck was on Dunne’s side when it was needed most tonight. Kind of wondering how much he has left. He’s on top right now, but you know the old saying, what goes up, must come down. Solid event overall from top to bottom. |
