All the other threads here so far have been about Asian artist, excluding the one about MJ (who's awesome, BTW), so I was curious - what other artists and groups does everyone like? What's your music taste? For me, I love a whole bunch of everything, but my other favorite groups/artistsare Transglobal Underground, Reverend Peyton's Big Damn Band, the Arrogant Worms, Weird Al, a lot of instrumental video game music and their remixes, Rimsky-Korsakov, Aaron Copland, Mindless Self Indulgence, and Owl City. And though they're technically Asian, since they're Pakistani, I guess Jal can go here. Urdu vocals + rock + pop = one strange but great mix. |

If I'm not listening to Asian music then I'm listening to: Disney Soundtracks and musical soundtracks: Rogers and Hammerstine French: Manau, MC Solaar, Ilona, Jean-Baptiste Maunier, Emmanuel Moire Yiddish/Hebrew/Turkish...etc: Mandy Patinkin Tarkan Tevetoğlu Folk/Oldies/English/American/etc...: Buddy Holly, Frank Sinatra, Bob Dylan, Bobby Darin, Josh Groban, Michael Crawford, Andrea Bocelli, Queen, Backstreet Boys, Cascada, Aqua, Weird Al, Josh Turner, Nsync, 3 doors down, Jethro Tull, Enya, Pink Martini, Petula Clark, Spice Girls, Louis Armstong, Linkin Park, Beetles, Beach Boys, Diana Ross and the Supreems, Temptations, The Chiffons, Cher, The Kingston Trio, goo goo dolls, vertical horizon, David Bowie, The Who, Led Zepplin, Phill Collins, Three Dog Night, ... (and so the list goes on ^^;) |
