The show opens on the Gordon Bay boardwalk. Alicia Sorrentino is standing there with a big smile on her face. Alicia Sorrentino: Ladies and Gentleman welcome to Alicia Sorrentino presents, 2013 a Year in Review. Over the next hour we will be taking a look back at all the drama that AliSor Productions has brought to ONtv. Grab your seat because it’s going to be one hell of a ride. The scene shifts over to the living room of Barrett Estate from Reflections. Alicia Sorrentino is sitting on the couch. Alicia Sorrentino: AliSor Productions started TOPtv off in style. Reflections was the first show to be broadcast on the network. Up until recently it was the highest rated broadcast on the network. The idea from the show had been in my head for years, but it took the closing of ONtv and creation of TOPtv to finally let it come to fruition. Though the original run of the show only lasted one episode, earlier today the relaunch movie was aired. New episodes will be following starting on Monday, January 6th. So, let’s start with Reflections first. Today we have with us the already tumultuous couple, Richard Barrett and Autumn Marone, John Brotherton and Bree Williamson! The camera moves to the other side of the couch where John and Bree are sitting together. Alicia: I thank you two for joining me. John: It’s a pleasure. Bree: I am so happy to be here. Alicia: Okay, so you two are playing the already tumultuous couple, Autumn Marone and Richard Barrett. How does it feel to know that you two are already in a huge storyline? Bree: It’s a challenge. I just stepped into this role, and I’m already dealing with all of this. I have to say it’s definitely challenged my acting. John: It’s definitely hard, but It’s something I have to say I’ve wanted to do. I’ve never really been in a front burner story on a soap. I’m happy that I’m taking a role like Richard, it’s definitely a welcomed challenge. Alicia: Now, neither of you were initially in the role you are playing. Bree: Right, the original actress that plays Autumn, Stephanie Gatschets is now on Riverview. John: And Daniel Cosgrove is on Colliding Hearts, I’ll have to thank him. (All Three of them Laugh.) Alicia: So what can you tell us about the storyline that you two are involved in? John: Well Logan White is definitely going to be causing a lot of trouble for Autumn and Richie. Bree: Definitely, it’s going to get really good. Not only will it good, it’ll involve a lot more than those three characters. Alicia: I’m sure we all can’t wait to see, everyone make sure to checkout Reflections, weekdays starting on January 6th! The camera fades into The Gordon Bay Inn and Suites. Alicia is shown. She places her hand on the bell and rings it. Alicia: God, it always seems like you can’t get any service here. I guess when you have to wait for Krista Logan… oh wait she doesn’t work here anymore. For all of you who know anything about me, there is one thing that all my shows have. That would be some incredibly strong female characters. And when I think about that, I definitely think about Misses Hillary Zimmer. The scene fades into the Zimmer Apartment. Alicia is sitting on the couch with Alicia Leigh Willis. Alicia S.: Thank you so much for joining me Alicia. Alicia LW: Not a problem, it’s a pleasure to be here. You know I’m so accustomed to this set. Alicia S: You have done some of your best work in this set. Your Elite Awards submission last year was shot here, correct? Alicia LW: You are absolutely right, I was nominated for Lead Actress, much like I am at the Top Awards this year. Aliica S: Well let’s hope that you can bring it home for Close to Home this time around. Alicia LW: I feel the same way! Alicia S: So how do you feel about the cancellation of CTH? Alicia LW: You know, it’s really bittersweet. I’ve been with the show since the beginning. Everyone that I’m working with is like one big family to me. You know, the cancellation had been rumored for awhile. We never really achieved the same success we did when on ONtv, but the show still had a great run. It’s sad to see it go but I’m excited to see my new ventures! Alicia S: Well, congrats on your new role on ATWT! Alicia LW: Thank you so much! Alicia S: Make sure to tune in for Alicia’s debut on ATWT’s the following Monday after the CTH finale! The scene moves over to the Heenan Enterprises offices. Alicia is sitting behind George’s desk. Alicia: I swear, George always had the nicest office on the entire show! You know, this isn’t particularly about George, but it is about a Heenan. Well, a Heenan-Simpson and her husband. So now we have with us CTH’s resident supercouple, Aries and April Simpson, Julie Marie Berman and Luke Mitchell! On the other side of the desk, Luke and Julie are sitting. Alicia: Thanks to both you for joining me. Luke: It’s quite the pleasure. Julie: Absolutely. Alicia: So Luke, you have been playing the role of Aries Simpson from the beginning, how has it treated you. Luke: I think playing Aries has been a challenge. I have had some great stories on Close to Home and they have mostly been treated with great fanfare. Alicia: And Julie, you took over the role of April in the summer from Brianne Moncrief, how has it been for you? Julie: You know it’s been a challenge, it’s a big adjustment to take over a fan favorite character who just got out of a coma. I think I’ve been doing a pretty good job with it. I know it’s hard to replace Brianne who did an incredible job with the role. Alicia: You have done a spectacular job, you two are doing the show justice that’s for sure. So, Luke, how does it feel to be a nominee for Lead Actor tonight at the TOP Awards? Luke: I think it’s a tremendous honor, I never expected to be nominated for lead actor. I was nominated last year at the Elite Awards for supporting actor, I just never expected to considered a lead actor. Julie: I have to say, you’ve done an incredible job as Aries. Luke: Thank you so much Julie. Alicia: Now, you two, how does it feel to know that come the end of January, CTH will be no more? Luke: You know, it’s sad. I spent the last part of two years in this role and it’s sad to see it go. Julie: Yeah, everyone is a big happy family, it’s going to be hard to say goodbye. Alicia: I feel the same way, I really have to thank you two for coming. Luke: It was a pleasure. Julie: Yes, it was. The scene moves over to Blush Headquarters. Alicia is standing by the big headquarters sign. Alicia: I thank all of you for joining me for this year in review special. I hope to bring you so more quality entertainment with Reflections, and the finale of Close to Home. 2014 will be something you don’t want to miss. The theme of Close to Home can be heard playing in the background, the lights in the room go dark as the scene fades out. Edited by ebard, Jan 5 2014, 07:45 AM.

I can't wait to see the CTH final episodes. I know they're going to be good. Reflections seems like a good replacement though. |
