Scene 1:

At the Salem PD, Det. Brady has called Nicole and Jack of the Salem Spectator to brief them on the newest developments in the drug case.

Hope sits Nicole and Jack at her desk. "I called you here because we have a new development. We confiscated a new synthetic designer drug in a red powder form that has recently caused a number deaths."

I guess the obvious question here is do you know who is supplying it and what the drug is?" asks Nicole.

"We're still investigating both at this time and that's all we have to report til new information becomes available" says Hope.

Jack finishes writing and puts down his pad. "Thank's again for meeting with us, Hope"

Jack and Nicole leave the station when he receives a call from Bo wanting to meet in Horton Town Square about something.

Soon after, Jack and Nicole arrive in Horton Town Square and they approach Bo. "What did you want to speak about?"

Bo smiles and tells Jack about his wife. "I thought you should know that Jennifer made a statement regarding her attack and i'm on my way to arrest Lawrence for it."

Jack is relieved by the news. "Oh, thank god. This nightmare is finally ending. That son of a bitch will finally pay."

"Yes, it is" says Bo.

Scene 2:

Meanwhile at Chez Rouge that afternoon, Maggie is helping to seat the guests at their tables but as she does, she notices Nick's lawyer, Owen Miles sitting alone with papers.

Maggie walks over to Owen. "Funny seeing you here again. I guess Nick's trial has commenced yet."

"Nope, It starts at the end of the week actually and I came back because the service and clientele was really good."

"Well, I'm glad you like it here. It's a beautiful place" says Maggie.

"The ambience is great so there's that. I was wondering if you would like to join me for a drink?" asks Owen.

Maggie rebuffs Owen's offer. "I'm sorry but I don't drink."

Owen is a little perplexed. "You don't drink?"

"No. I'm a recovering alcoholic."

"Ok, I understand now" says Owen.

Scene 3:

That evening at the Salem PD evidence holding area, Det. Ramsey shows up when it's a quiet night and proceeds to use his key to get in the evidence locker where the red powder is being held. He manages to get the powder and get away before the footsteps get any closer.

The footsteps come around the corner and they belong to Officer O'leary. The officer notices something off in 1 of boxes because it's pulled out too far. He proceeds to check and makes a shocking discovery.

"What the hell?! This can't be right."

Officer O'leary notices the red powder he just catalogued is suddenly missing from the box! Officer O'leary decides to report his findings to Det. Brady.

I wonder if Officer O'Leary is on to Detective Ramsey? If he is then he has no way of proving anything at all and besides Ramsey I am sure he isn't stupid because I am sure he has covered his tracks and that he has covered them quite well especially being on Salem's newest mobster Alejandro Cruz's payroll and even if Ramsey figures out that O'Leary is on to him who is to say that Ramsey won't kill him to cover his tracks? Or who is to say that Alejandro Cruz wouldn't have O'Leary killed

Owen and Maggie sure have chemistry that's for sure, certainly a lot more chemistry than Maggie ever had with Victor Kiriakis and that's saying something

And Lawrence even if he does get arrested and he does go to trial, Lawrence if he has a really good lawyer if he has a shark of an attorney then whoever he or she is would be able to get Lawrence off no problem and he would be back on the streets in no time so let's face it the Salem PD can't make anything stick because that is how inept they are

Owen definitely comes off like he's hiding something.

Glad Det. O'Leary is around! Hope needs someone on her side. Can't for Ramsey to get what's coming to him.

Why do I have a feeling that everything with Lawrence is just beginning?
