Thoughts on the Live Episode Week and Who Killed Lucy Reveal?

So the other week was Eastenders 30th anniversary and to celebrate they had a full week of episodes with live scenes included followed by a completely live episode on the Friday.

Lucy's killer was revealed on the Thursdays' episode and obviously it's been a huge storyline for the past few months. In the UK it was a huge talking point and even betting shops were taking bets on who killed Lucy so its reveal was highly anticipated.

For those who watched it. (I'm not sure what other countries it's shown but the live episodes will surely be on Youtube) what did you think? I'm not giving anything away but I found the killer reveal to be very clever. No-one would guess it was that person and they weren't even an 'official' suspect.

And of course another HUGE shock as a character returned from the dead. My jaw literally dropped as they stepped out of the cab. I can't wait to see the ramifications of that bombshell!

The only problem I had with the 'dead' characters return is that they've been dead for almost ten years now so while half the viewers will be screaming in shock, the other half will be like 'who the hell is that?' lol

All in all it was a fantastic week of episodes, very emotional and I thought the acting was great. The producer should really be proud of himself, in my opinion he really has brought Eastenders back and made it great again over the past 12-18 months.

So for those who followed it, what did you think? Did you enjoy it or find the killers reveal an anticlimax?
