I am currently The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova.

So far only about 50 of the 800+ pages. I am not too sure about it yet, seems somewhat slow paced. But it have high hopes, after all it has vampires :) (At least Dracula).

Oooh, Scheme is good!

Have you done anything with Scheme before, or maybe LISP?

It just so happens; that I have written a small LISP implementation, with hints of Scheme. I call it dLISP and you can find it here:
http://www.dsource.org/projects/dlisp

Full source naturally :). It is actually the second implementation of LISP that I write, the first one was written in Pascal, and this one is written in D. Much smaller, and faster, and more features!
I do it mostly for fun, poking around not only with a programming language, but with how it actually works can teach you allot.

Why so serious?
I have been reading The Hitchhikker's Guide to the Galaxy by (who else?) Douglas Adams. I'm not very far, but it's pretty good, and yes, I can recommend it to others if they haven't already read it...

Warriors: Dawn - Erin Hunter.

If you love or have some sort of deep obsession with cats, then yes, get this book. I think they are really cute.

I finished 'Orcslayer' last night. It's now a choice between 'Imperial Spy', 'Angels of Darkness', 'Reaper of Souls' and 'The Cleric Quintet'

The Burning Stone by Kate Elliot. Its the third in a series, and seems to be pretty good so far.

Clovermead: In the Shadow of the Bear - David Randall.

It gets off to a boring and slow start but, it gets better.
