http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dWnZOseA3Lw Interesting enough us old gamers seem to be the only ones interested in this... Just think of the possibilities..... Fight Night Round 5 with no controller? Bobbing, weaving and kicking more butt then Tyson in his prime! Milo himself impressed me as well....We may not be inserting plugs into our brainstems, but this comes close... |

Nah nah i am utterly loving it! me and mike both saw it and was blown away with project natal there is so many possibilities just a few of which they showed at the convention. The thing i love about it as they will literally be no restrictions when it comes to gaming from now on and also you will feel a lot more involved, with the character than you do by simply holding a controller. Also the fact it can be used for other things than just gaming like scrolling through movies and so forth and probably music as well that seems like were becoming a lot more high tech than we use to be. We knew something like this was coming what with the eyetoy and also the wii games and so forth we knew that we were becoming more active with each development from the console genres. I suppose we thought we was years off something like this where you actually become more active, for long parents have moaned that there kids are sitting down on a computer game, not seeing the sun, socialing and so forth and that there just becoming more and more unfit well with this they will not have anything they can say because it hits them at every angle. It makes the gamer more fit the constant movie will help lose weight, burn calories and what more give your heart a work out it should be getting daily and whats more you do not even notice your doing it because you too engrossed in your game. Secondly it will be social because with this it will boost xbox sales and tbh what family home doesnt have one? they can talk to there friends, make new ones and actually have a avatar they can move about and fuction just by moving there own body. Viola it will literally be no different than the kids going downstairs or outside and talking to people. same movements, actions etc. I do have a slight concern though with this. Concerning the games we have at the moment can you honestly say you will play say for instance star ocean or final fantasy on it? weilding a sword around and running through the map where you actually have to constantly run for your characetr to move? wouldnt you be knackered after a hour of just trying to get from one town to another? same with the actions there is massive cut scenes obviously you wont be in them and with have limited functions concidering how big the games can be. But if it is like there saying the possible only restriction to those games would literally be you wont be in control of the cut scenes. i think some people may become so knackered after a hour or two they may not use it as much or buy those sort of games again. obviously we should still be able to use the controllers which does indeed help matters. secondly as you said fighting... think about the fighting, racing, sport games and so forth you have to become the boxer, the driver and move your hands and so forth with the games so wouldnt you ache after 10 minutes of holding a wheel of a car or making the movement with your hands rofl. but all in all it is pretty sweet. |

O.O scary wall'o'text there cao.. My view is(since im a hardcore gamer you should all pay attention to me [YAY attention.. moving on]) Project Natal is indeed pretty spify, Ive heard the comment from other people{Mostly Sony Fanboys} That the xbox 360 is just turning into the wii, that there ripping the tech off of Nintendo. This is not true. The wii uses wireless controllers. not you as THE controller. Project Natal is not only going to wipe the wii from peoples mind, but since theres a rumor going around the interweb about a 500G HD Xbox 360 coming out before x-mas. that alone will knock sony off its very high horse. the rumored pricing is around the Elite's old price of $399. Now seeing as i was about to go buy an xbox elite to replace my first gen Pro unit that ive had since the midnight of the 360's release.. I stopped to say that... if this rumor is true, to me the 500G HD is worth $100 more .. also this unit is rumored to have the Jasper chip, which no Xbox 360 to this date has..you may ask, "what the hell is the Jasper Chip?".. the jasper chip is what was originally going to ship inside every xbox 360 .. anyway my point is , it is what prevents the "Red Rings of Death" and allows the 360 to process games with heavyier graphic codes, cleaner and easyier , allowing the xbox 360 to produce its real graphic rate.. anyway my point is, that this rumored xbox is possibly going to be the best 360 unit to run Project Natal, not only because of the 500G HD and the Jasper chip, but because of possible unknown upgrades, and the sheer fact that Project Natal will run easier and cleaner on this rumored Xbox 360 unit..
