Dear Tyrants, We have deemed it necessary to introduce a sign-up system for upcoming raids and events, due to increasing interest and population in our guild... From now on, events will be posted in this subsection where you will be able to sign up. These posts will also include details about the events and their outcomes. The signing up process is quite straightforward: You will reply to the thread, informing us that you are joining the event. This will prioritize you over people who have not signed up. However, there are some rules to keep in mind: - If you have signed up for an event, you should be present at the exact time of the event, with a maximum of 10 minutes delay, and have at least 2 hours to play. - Earlier posters are always prioritized in the queue unless there is a problem with raid composition. - Guild members are prioritized over non-guild members if people from other guilds are allowed to join. In such runs, only guild members may roll on legendary items. - New members and main characters may be prioritized over you depending on the situation. However, you will be asked whether you wish to relinquish your spot in such cases. UPDATE 29.04.2012 - In order to disperse further misunderstandings about raid composition, we will now deem it as an advantage for certain classes to have the following builds ready prior to joining the raids. Otherwise, you 'may' be replaced by another member so that the rest of the team can successfully complete the raid. These conditions will only occur if a certain encounter appears to be impossible after multiple wipes. For Clerics: Single-target healing, AoE healing, DPS, Off-Tank* For Mages: Healing, Support (Archon), DPS For Rogues: DPS, Support (Bard), Off-Tank* For Warriors: DPS, Off-Tank* *Off-tanking is rarely required in most scenarios Please obtain the builds corresponding to your class and make sure you are capable of playing them to the maximum extent possible. If you need help in setting up your builds/rotations, please contact an officer as we are more than willing to help you. - Also if you do not have a specific resist sigil (eg. Water), the raid leader 'may' replace you with another person with higher resists. Although collecting Inscribed Sourcestones is tiresome, it is really easy and you are expected to have a chance in staying alive during certain boss fights. If you still believe you have been unjustly treated, please directly file a complaint in appropriate forum section. We hope you will have lots of good times during these events and achieve your goals in Rift! Edited by Arias, Apr 29 2012, 09:20 PM.
