Best mutiplayer games ever = Mario Kart & Smash Bros. Playing a few of you guys online would be immense. I'm not sure about this controller thang, but if its priced cheaply like the GCN was, i'll prob find myself with one of these. |

Gah, I think that the controller will be brilliant to use with games, swinging it around and all. Would be a good laugh with friends round and multiplayer. I remember reading that the price was going/rumored to be about £200. Think I read that in Edge magazine...but it might have been somewhere else; I can't really remember =P. Would love to buy one of these as there are several games on it that take my fancy and it's such a neat little console, but with PS3 having a hefty price tag, I doubt I'll be able to afford them both.

Yeah, it'll be great for that, but spending that amount of money on the console and extra controllers, just for when mates come over, is a bit much. I can't see myself sitting in my room, swinging that thing around. |

I saw a vid of the PS3 controller when they played a demo of warhawk on the PS3, looked really cool when he tilted the controller back the airplane went up. You never heard anything before that Sony would have that kind of thing on their "batarang" controller, then Nintendo advised they'd have the tilt thingy in theirs... WHOMP! Sony changes their controller completely. Good move. |

Woo, US Price and Release date announced: Clicky $250 = £133, although they'll probably bump it up to £150 over here and release it a few weeks later, my guess is 16th of December, as it's 2nd of December in Japan. Or they could do a Sony, then I wouldn't be happy. Games are gonna be £40 too, so we're looking at £10 cheaper than 360 games. Package comes bundled with; one Wii remote, one nunchuck attachment, an AC adapter, an audio/video cable, a sensor bar, sensor bard stand, a Wii console stand and two batteries. Hopefully they'll give us Wii Sports as well, like they're doing in the US. All sounds great value for money, Nintendo have gotta be losing money for this. Oh well, the Italian plumber will get it back for them. NIIIIIINTENDO!!!!! |

Triple posting but oh well. Pre-ordered one today from Gamestation. Put down a £20 deposit, I'm 11th on the list and Abi's paying for it as a joint anniversairy and Xmas present.

Its been recommended by ONM to keep your GC controller for Super smash brothers brawl, as the wii controller wouldn't work aswell for that, but remember there will be a wii pad too. I think SSBB online with ZP would be absolutely insane! |

I've never been a big Nintendo fan in the past (other than Gameboys) so I've never played on any games like Super Smash Bros or Donkey Kong etc. but the Wii (and DS) appeals to me much more than any other console of Ninty's past, and I think many others are probably in the same situation as me. I can't wait to get my hands on the controller, should be bloody good fun. |

Check this out: Clicky Any point in a Wii now? Of course. I doubt that thing will catch on, and I doubt big publishers will bring Wii games to the other consoles because of some 3rd party hardware. IGN aren't very clever sometimes
