Meh, still doesn't look like it's gonna match PES to me. I don't know why either, I just think it seems like when the players run, they have no weight to them, like they're tiptoeing along, all seems very loose. Hopefully they'll release a demo. |

I think FIFAs been getting better recently, but the physics in PES are as close as you're gonna get to perfection. |

looks nice in the gameplay, but cutting to a cut scene when you get into a fifa guaranteed goal spot is wank. |

Downloaded the PS3 demo, tis pretty good, the passing is actually decent. Seriously thinking of getting this as a stop gap till PES. And the 5v5 online will be a bonus. Anyone else thinking of getting it? |

Just for the 360 points! =P I was thinking of PS3, just because i prefer the controller. =( Is the 5v5 gonna be on both versions? Its not out on release i know that. |

Hmm it wasnt too bad but it just didnt feel right. I guess I didnt really like the running and tbf I prefer the passing of PES. One thing that did bug me though, when the players run have any of you noticed a green outline where the player had just been? I've noticed this with PES6 on my PS3 but put that down to the emulation. There isn't anything wrong with my PS3 or my Tv's refresh rate is there?

Considering getting this now as a stop-gap as apparently the final game plays a lot better than the demo. If it is shite then I'll just trade it when I buy Skate or Lair. Probs trade in VT3 or F1 for it as according to GAME's lists in-store you can trade in a game and get a new game for only a tenner! B) I just want some HD fooseball tbh  Where art thou PES demo? Come in Thurday's update pwease.

Had a play, its good, glad i got it. It aint gonna match PES in terms of gameplay. But its nice to play as a proper Brighton, with the kits n stuff. Attention to detail is amazing, the Teams and Formations are pretty up to date, and will be able to download updated File for transfers etc. Had a go at what will be the 5v5 online, on offline. Controlling one player in a team, its something me and mates have a few games of on PES, and its been really well thought out here. You get a view from the players perspective (Third Person), no radar, you can call for passes, you get scored on various things, completing pases, having shots, calling for pases when you're actually in a good position, marking and positioning. It was a bit hardcore in that respect, really if im Beckham playing for LA, am i really expected to track back as much as i was told too? You lose points for not being in position and not marking well. And it was marking me down for putting crosses in which the player didn't get his head on, tbh you should just be rewarded for putting dangerous crosses in, not whether its defended or not. =/ Its good, i-like, looking forward to playing online on that. Just me and Lew is it? =( You can choose your fav team, and it automatically makes that team you first choice on team select and puts your closest rivals as the opposing team, nice touch. And there's a game mode online, where you play as your team against your rivals or something, looks interesting. |

Got it too, pretty good. Commentary is so much better than PES, and the presentation, just gives it that extra bit of gloss. Gameplay is catching up with PES, but still, it's quite easy to score. Bought Dani Alves for Man U and shot from about 30 yards out and went straight in the top corner, good goal, but can see it happening far too often. Saying that, I think you can turn something off in the options to tone down the assists on shooting. Haven't had a go at 'Be a Pro' yet. Will need to, sounds good. |

I nearly got this but the missus said its fifa you wont like it, your mates wont like it, you'll trade it - fair point I thought..... But.......... I keep playing the demo and really like it ok its not pes but a different kind of football some of the moves are nice, I find the L2 button a pain for skills. I might get it but will have to see tbh as pes is just round the corner and would I play it once that arrives...... Playing as Ipswich and managing in career mode sounds ace all leagues and cups plus real kits....... No must not buy fifa........ |
