Linky Dated for Europe at 23rd of May, but only for 360. PS3, PS2 and Wii has to wait til the summer. Now, the price. An 'Instrument Edition', which includes the guitar, the drums and the microphone, but not the actual game is £130. The game is priced separately at the usual RRP for a game, £49.99. Ridiculous, considering all that together in America is $169 dollars, we are paying more than double. If you wanna buy the drums or guitar separately, its £60 for the guitar and £70 for the drums. I think the guitar from GH3 works with it, so I'm just gonna buy the game I think. Not sure about the GH2 guitar. I can't imagine why not. |

Wow. So the Americans pay like £85 for the whole lot? I was expecting it wouldn't be that cheap for us, maybe £120 for the whole lot, but that is silly... I'm gonna get another Guitar Hero III guitar then, its £10 cheaper, it works on both Guitar Hero and Rock Band, whereas the Rock Band one doesn't work on GH. Drums for £70. Can you do Band World Tour without the mic? |

:angry: That is f*cking ridiculous. I might as well import it from the states or ebay or better yet buy the guitar I want. This is going to bomb so badly. :lol: Edit: If you want the DLC then it will be 160 MS points, compared to 80 MS points in the US.  As we all know there is a hell of a lot of money involved in distributing these songs. /sarcasm.

You can do Band World Tour with only two instruments apparently. So you can just get the drums if you already have Guitar Hero III, you're set. Don't think me or my mates really fancy ourselves as Singers anyway. = p Just debating whether another guitar is worth it atm. [edit: Also Lewis, according to this site Guitar Hero II guitar is compatible with Rock Band. Link So it might be worth me picking Guitar Hero II up with the guitar after all.] |

Play.com are the only site to put a price on the Instrument Edition so far, and they've made it £99.99, which is £30 under the RRP. Link |

Im deffinetly buying...I'm importing a guitar and the drums, paying the postage is a bitch but easily saves me money, i'll get the game from Gameplay.com Some how im going to struggle to fit the drums in my room, anyone got measurements for them...length width and height please? |

Dont have measurements but they aint small tbh. Ive been playing loads of rock band recently. The Games Society im a member of in college imported it so i can play it regularly. Its fantastic and will keep ya hooked for a while, but tbh, not much longer than guitar hero does, and for that price, rock band really aint worth it unless youre splitting the cost with some mates. The drumming is so much fun though. Best part of the game by far. Singing is shit. Like singstar- doesnt matter if youre in the right key as long as your timing is right. The guitar is HORRIBLE. Im so used to the guitar hero 3 guitar that the rock band one really feels wrong. Track list aint great either. |

Been persuaded to order the whole she-bang. Looking forward to it. I think the tracklist looks awesome blacon, less bloody metal than Guitar Hero. I know Lewis is, anyone else getting this thang? Im sure we can do some sorta Co-Op Band Online. You can create a band and get stats online n stuff i think. ; D RockBand.com |

I'm only getting the game at first. If I'm demanded to get the drums, I'll get the drums, don't need no more guitars. Anyone know when they'll be releasing the American downloadable tracks over here? I need to get some points. |

hmmm, with discount, the instruments will cost me £94.99 and the game will cost £34.99. Not getting it on release though, as im going to download, need my money for that =p and then a ps3 after download... most likely get it much later in July or something, perhaps. Still outraged at the price though. |

I think i read on the site that they're releasing all of it on day one of release. Seems a strange decision. Definately some great music to download though.  I've got like 2000 points from when i was gonna get Tomb Raider Anniversary but changed my mind. lol |

Tracks are on the marketplace now, been looking through the list on Wikipedia (here) and decided to get these when I get the game: David Bowie Track Pack The Knack – My Sharona The Clash – I Fought The Law The Clash – Complete Control The Clash – Train In Vain Weezer – Buddy Holly Weezer – El Scorcho All American Rejects – Dirty Little Secret All American Rejects – Move Along Fall Out Boy – This Ain't A Scene Worked out it'll cost me 1880 points. Already had about 400 on there and got 2100 today from Gamestation, had a credit note. Can't wait.
