Krip gave me some info on this, looks like an easy enough job (Well it should be for an IT Technician =/). I wanna get a new, bigger Hard Drive for me PS3. Only thing im concerned about is backing up my game saves and being able to get access to my PS Store Downloads. Can anyone shed any light on this? Any helpful user guides anyone knows about? |

i looked into this a while ago, youtube is the best manual mate. PSN dl's even if you lost them can be downloaded upto 5 times, so they are ok, Krip said he lost 2 game saves but the rest worked perfectly. good luck. |

Well, finally ordered a drive, went to download some stuff yesterday and found i had no room. Nicked my Mum's external Hard Drive to make a back up on my current PS3, its already set to FAT32 for some reason. Krip or anyone in the know, when you use the Back Up utility on PS3, does it format the drive your copying to? My Mum's drive has all the family photo's and her Music and TV shows etc on it and she will kill me if i lose it. Im gonna back up all her stuff to my Mac, but was hoping the PS3 back up would just fit onto the empty 93GB on the drive anyway. |
